County Inn is close to 101 freeway, but if you don't have car, the closest bus stop is 0.5 mile away. My room was spacious and comfy, had all the necessary equipment and parking space right behind the door. Since it's close to the freeway you can actually hear traffic while you're inside but it's not like if you're on airport runway ;-) Between Inn buildings there's a swimming pool and garden with blooming trees, so window view is rather pleasant. If I'm in Mountain View again it's likely that I'll choose County Inn again.

Miły motel - wszystkie pokoje mają wejście od zewnątrz, piętrowy, trzeba bagaże dźwigać po schodach. Pokoje duże, czyste, klimatyzacja i możliwość otwarcia okna. Jedyny hotel w którym prysznic nie był przytwierdzony do ściany. Spokojna okolica, hotel bezpośrednio przy ulicy,ale cichy. OK na jedną dwie noce.

"Good Hotel but Inconsistent Service"
As stated in the title, the service prevents me from giving this Hilton a 5 rating. We were in Santa Clara for a business conference and arrived at around 7 am. We asked the gentleman at the counter if a room was available and he promptly said no and ask that we return closer to check-in. We booked our reservation through hotels.com and had pre-paid. […] Not an unreasonable response seeing that check-in is at 3 pm. As we stood in the lobby deciding where to go for breakfast, we noticed several other colleagues being assigned rooms or at least being added to a list so they can be contacted once a room becomes available. We received no such courtesy. My wife approached the counter and made mention that were noticing a double standard. The female representative identified herself as a manager and immediately gave us our room. We took our luggage to the room and while in the lobby noticed other conference goers who went to the male rep were getting turned away while others who choose another rep were immediately given their rooms. "Wonderful Stay with a view"
Luckily, our room faced the Global Winter Wonderland that was going on at great america. We could see most of everything from our room and it was a GREAT sight. "QUICK ACCESS TO ALL BAY AREA LOCATIONS"
I stayed here for the price, and because it was so close to Hwy 101 so I could branch out to San Jose and San Francisco easily. Also, this time of the year, Great American amusement park is closed, so it is very quiet around with little traffic. Hotel is several miles from Hwy 101, so there is no freeway or highway noise. We stayed there for the Pacific International Quilt Festival that was right across the street at the Santa Clara Convention Center. We will definitely stay there next year. The room service was reasonably priced and dinner was delicious. "Hilton Santa Clara"
I have stayed in hotels all over the US and Mexico. This was my first opportunity to stay in a Hilton. I was expecting much more. The room was ok, beds were fair. Everything was clean. The shower curtain was old and tattered. The A/C would not cool the room down even though it was set at 60 for two full days. In addition to not cooling down it made […] a huge thud about every fifteen minutes. It was terrible trying to get the baby asleep. The pool is not indoors, it is covered but it is outdoor and it is not heated, very cold! Lots of signs up that said it was being monitored but there were eight young boys that were running from the hot tub (warm tub) and then doing cannon balls into the pool with no regard to my family. Even when we asked them to stop they didn't care. Apparently the parents just decided to drop them off and let them run wild. Then to top everything off the smoke alams throughout the hotel went off at 2:10 in the morning and we had to evacuate the hotel in our pj's. Not a lot of fun with a two and four year old. Had to stand in the parking lot for about 1/2 hour before they would let us back in. No apologies, no nothing. I would be very hesitant to try another Hilton after this experience. Przeczytaj więcej
"Stayed by myself"
I stayed at the hotel by myself because of some business. Everyone was nice to me and helped me find places in the area where I could go have fun. The management seems to be very nice to the workers which has a large contribution to the friendly service I received. Thank you :)
"Almost All 5's"
Everything was great about the hotel - but ONE thing really irked me. A hotel in the heart of Silicon Valley and charging $9.99 per day for wireless is a joke. Even Super 8's and Motel 6's offer free wireless these days.
The Hilton really ranked up at the top with my hotel stays because of the location, service, and accomodations provided. There were a few misunderstanding at the beginning, but the front desk service did fix the problem once it was brought to their attention.

"Our stay was great, but checkout was worrisome"
The hotel was fine and we enjoyed our stay. The only hiccup was on checkout day. Like a lot of hotels, the Hilton sends your invoice to your room at the wee hours of the morning so you can checkout without having to stop by the front desk. And that's great. In most hotels, they slip the invoice under to door, but here, they leave it on the floor of […] the hallway outside your room. We thought it was a fluke, but as we walked down the hallway toward the elevator, we saw several more guest invoices laying on the floor, complete with each guest's personal information right for the taking. We expressed our displeasure about having our privacy taken away to the front desk clerk, only to be told "Well, we can't put it under the door because there's no room." They made no attempt to apologize and it was clear there would be no effort to bring our concerns to the hotel's management. Overall stay at the Hilton was fine. Our first contact with the front desk upon arrival wasn't very friendly. Other contacts were great. A/C didn't keep the room cool. The bar and restaurant food was good and staff was friendly and efficient.

Nice hotel, nice amenities, staff seems on top of things. Could do without the Fox News blaring from the 42" TV in the bar into the lobby.
"Just a wonderful place to stay...."
I travel about 60 days a year. This hotel is the best of all worlds....great location, excellent staff, great food on site, classy rooms and most importantly peaceful. This, I believe is the epitome of what the Hilton organization set out to be so many years ago. Job extremely well done and I look forward to my next stay there.

We were attending a convention across the street at The Convention Center at the Hyatt so this was very convenient for us. We enjoyed our stay - no problems, comfortable bed - coffee AND cream in the room! Thanks!
"Hilton did not meet my expectations."
They did not have the room I booked available and offered two beds in smoking or a king with a pull out bed non-smoking. We did not have a choice being non-smokers so we had to take the king with a pull out. My adult friend and his nine year old daughter had to sleep on this for two days and it was extremely uncomfortable. "Nice room, bad food"
The room was clean and comfortable. It would have been good if the A/C would go below 72 degrees though. The restaurant should be avoided. I travel 30 weeks out of the year so when I say the restaurant food was poor quality I have a broad base of experience to judge from. The food was Denny's quality at 6 times the price. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of a continental breakfast and/or convenient/cheap breakfast nearby. The description did not promise these things, but I have come to expect them from a hotel.
