Room was generally dirty, bathroom was not clean with dried mucus on the wall, nonsmoking room reeked of stale smoke odor, carpet was very worn and dirty, furniture was worn out, holes in walls, shower did not work right. Bedspread was not clean, stained, torn. Towels were thin and of the roughest texture and needed to be replaced months ago. The room was comfortable and clean. However, even in a downstairs nonsmoking room you can smell the smoke from adjacent rooms. I don't know if their ventilation system is connected or what, but no matter if we were on the top or bottom floors of this hotel, you could still smell the cigarette smoke from other guests' rooms.

Very nice. I liked the hotel room. It was quiet, clean and neat.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a king bed on the second floor; nonsmoking room. However, the room below us was a smoking room and we smelled smoke constantly as the people below us were heavy smokers. It was terrible. Not fancy, but very clean and the staff was most accomodating and helpful. Be sure to have dinner at the Brass Lantern nearby-excellent food and service!

Was assured by a Hotels.com representative that a room would be available for early check in when I arrived at 11 A.M. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk (rudely) informed me that there was no record of the transaction. I was told that the Hotels.com confirmation number provided "is not a real confirmation". After the booking info was finally found, […] no clean rooms were available until later. In my opinion, the room I got was subpar for this particular hotel chain and rate. Basic (once again, in my opinion) amenities such as a refrigerator/ microwave and a separate space for hanging clothes were not in the hotel room; only a hook on the back of the bathroom door, a space underneath the room entrance large enough for a rodent or snake to enter from outdoors, and a strong odor of urine were present. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the front desk clerk (different one than before), who promptly moved me to another room with a microfridge, space to hang clothing and no foul odors. Hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful, but the bed was terrible. I really thought I would have had better sleep on the floor

Jameson Inn is basic, with no frills, but it's clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and accomodating. I especially appreciate their accomodating pets with a nominal fee. All around, a good experience!

Pictures looked OK for overnight but it is a HUGE mistake! Besides the staff being very rude, the room was awful. The A/C unit was short circuiting, you could see daylight under the door, the room was cramped and not clean. We checked in and then immediately out.
