this hotel was just fine and the breakfast was good. We have no complaints and would stay there again. The only challenge is that the surrounding roads were a bit difficult to navigate without a gps or mobile map and we had trouble finding the hotel. The nicest La Quinta I have ever stayed at. Property is well maintained and tastefully decorated. It is next to a lovely park and walking distance to a brew-pub. Very pet friendly but you would not know pets stay here based on cleanliness and condition of hotel and grounds. The only complaint is the phone in the room did not work. It was not a problem […] for me since I have my cell phone but I did let the front desk know so that they could fix it before the next person arrived. I had some very loud people above me and a wandering cougher outside of my door. The noise abated before I needed to be moved, but I did find it odd that ear plugs were not available, either for purchase or given as a courtesy. Was not happy with the means to adjust the temperature of my room and the spa/pool water looked off color. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast fair was much better than we expected for the typical hotel continental one. While the hotel was comfortable however I found that the motor home that was parked right outside of the room window was annoying. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast 7-10 am was better than usual donuts and sweet rolls. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Was joining friends camping at a near-by event. I consider myself to be "roughing it" when the hotel sheets are less than 600 count, so technically, I was roughing it. However, after 10-12 […] hours at an outdoor venue in 80+ heat, the hotel was a more-than-welcome respite. It was nearly fully booked, but quit. My room overlooked the car-lot next door so I'm glad I really didn't spend much time in the room. This hotel was surprisingly elegant and very clean. Usually when a hotel is pet friendly, there are issues associated with that.
