best choice of hotel, excelent location, clean rooms, friendly staff, satisfactory breakfast!!

Some people complained on here about the size of the elevator...wtf...it is Europe. Just enjoy those differences. This is a great hotel. If you plan to play full court basketball in the room, then try the hilton, but this is ideal for one or two in a double room who come to Athens to see the sites. This is the classic cheap big-city-hotel. The type in which there's only a sleepy old clerk at the reception, followed by a slow tiny elevator. Non-luxury. Rooms are scarce, small and beds are simple and inexpensive, clean though. Location is good, neighborhood safe. Here you get what you pay for. Good to spend the night but don't expect VIP.

This hotel is small and nice but the excellent thing about it is the location, you are near to everything, I really recomend it!!

We only stayed one night at this small, convenient hotel, but were very pleased with it. The taxi driver who drove us there said, "Oh, Hermes is nice hotel, very clean" - and he was right. The reception staff was extremely helpful with directions and let us store our luggage before we checked in. We didn't try the Continental breakfast, so can't give […] it a rating. The room was a decent size (not much view, but opening window), updated, tiled bathroom with tub, two single beds pushed together, and a pleasant Scandinavian look to the furnishings. The walls weren't thick, but I doubt if the usual clientele would be rowdy types. Rates were reasonable and there was an elevator (small!) to get you to the upper floors. Work is being done on the roof to allow a good view of the Acropolis. And if you want to be near the "fun" part of Athens, the Plaka district is the place to be. You can walk out the Hermes Hotel door into all the shopping and eating places you'll ever want or need. The only downside is the ever-present Athens traffic. We're in our late 60's, very fit, but even so had to remember that streets in this old part of town are narrow and traffic doesn't stop for slowpokes. Good location walking distance to the Acropolis and restaurants. There is no good street in Athens, all streets dirty, graffiti walls, smelly. Hotels is clean and modern, better than most we've seen in Athens. They don't have free Internet, got to pay $2 EU per hour and then wait an hour fornthe page too load.

The hotel was located in an area convienent to all the major sites. A nice hotel with an extremely helpful staff. at breakfast one of the staff would go around to the tables and answer any questions and make reccomendations. Very helpful. Great Location Hotel Hermes has a great location and is where you would like to stay if you want reasonable comfort and a good experience. The staff is really friendly and all the essentials were present in the hotel I was traveling from Dubai and needed an adapter for my phone chager. In the middle east the sockets are different than the ones in Europe. […] The had all sorts of adapters to choose from and were more than happy to lend me one. Situation idéale, chambre sympa et plusieurs types de petits déjeuners. Très bon acceuil en Anglais ou en français.

Fui recomendada por amigos, que estuvieron el año pasado y efectivamente, quede muy satisfecha por la atención y el servicio en general

E' un hotel pulito, camere molto belle, colazione abbondante, personale molto gentile e socievole. Buonissima posizione perché è nel centro storico di Atene e puoi girare a piedi per i vari quartieri; se vuoi visitare altro, a 200 mt c'è la metropolitana e un infinità di bus di linea ed anche l'X95 che collega direttamente l'aereoporto alla piazza Syntagma […] (del parlamento). excellent hotel in athens room making service is really good and all staffs are diligent. breakfast was especially good, beyond my immagination. all services were good and I was fully satisfied with the hotel.

３泊しました。 駅からも近く、どこへ行くのも便利でした。 内装も新しく、清潔に清掃されていました。 夕方ロビーではコーヒー、紅茶、クッキーのサービスがあります。 スタッフの方も親切で、朝食時に各テーブルを回り、 何か必要なことはないか気遣っていただきました。 また機会があれば泊まりたいと思います。

Hotel Hermes er en god oplevelse: Vel beliggende i Athens Plaka og med pæne værelser, gode senge og stor morgenmadsbuffet - det hele serveret af et venligt og serviceminded personale. Dertil kommer en meget venlig "guide", der i f m morgenmaden står til rådighed med gode råd og tips til oplevelser etc. En meget fin service. L'Hotel si trova nel quartiere di Plaka ed è in posizione assolutamente strategica rispetto ai punti di interesse della città e della vita notturna. La condizione delle stanze è discreta, fatta eccezione per il bagno non degno di un hotel di quella categoria.
