VERY close to underground station. Nice hotel, very good value for money.

Excellent hotel ideally situated very close to undergroud.Very helpful staff.

Probably one of the best value for money hotels in the centre of Berlin. Underground station literally on the doorstep making it convenient for trips to tourist sites.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Two free bottles of beer and water which was a lovely touch. Also recommend Milly's Cafe just up the street for breakfast.

it was woderfull, close to main sights, to Alexander Pl., to the museums island, we walked to almost everywhere, clean and comfortable. i recommend with pleasure

I enjoyed my stay at the Derag Livinghotel very much. An underground station and a bus station are directly at the hotel but in under 15 minutes you can also walk to nice areas with restaurants and shops. Nice and cosy hotel. U-Bahn right behind the corner. Peaceful neighborhood. High class cleanliness at the hotel. Sauna and spa section should see a "face lift". No salmon at the breakfast buffet.Over all very good. Service with a smile - luxury U don´t get too often in European metropolitan hotels.

Excellent location - only steps away from U-Bahn Station. Very comfortable hotel - would definitely return.

As there was no air conditioning in my room, the temperature was unbearable. There was unfortunately no possibility to reduce the temperature.

The staff was extremely friendly and happy to speak English. The rooms were clean and there were two free Beck's beers in the fridge every day. The location is great and you can walk to many places or hop on the metro literally in front of the building.

Here is the best place you should stay~ Best quality of service, room, condition, and also location. Here is safe and convenient for every tourists who want to take a rest and have a look of Berlin city. I will choose it again if I go Berlin.

We were surpriced that it was such a good place for that kind of money. Room was nice, great bathroom, impressing entrance and reception. Very kind staff. Great vienamese restaurant just oposite the hotel. And we really loved that is was away from all the touristed areas, but still only 5 min walk to Alexander Platz. The only negative thing to say, […] was that the breakfast was extremly expensive. The breakfast was good. They had everything one could ask for at their buffet. Just too expensive. The hotel was surprisingly good. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and adequately spacious. With regards to the hotel our only concern was the room service. That was surprisingly lacking. The bathroom was not clean enough (it wasn't dirty but definitely not 4 star clean). There was a weird odour in the bathroom […] and when we reported it to reception, they immediately changed our room, but the next one wasnt much better. The bathroom smelled kind of musty instead of fresh. The toiletries were not replaced after it was used by the previous guests. The shower gel dispenser was almost empty, empty packets with no shower caps. The room service was indeed disappointing. This hotel instead of having a mini-bar, offers the guests 2 botles of beer and 2 bottles of water free of charge everyday. But when we checked in, the minibar had just one bottle of beer in it.About 2 hours later they came and replenished it. Also little things like the stationary weren't replaced after use by the previous guests. In short house keeping not up to the mark. But the best thing about the hotel we found was the location. From the airport, you can take a train to Alexanderplatz station. It takes about 25 min costs 3 euros per person. From there actually the hotel is about 12 min walk, but you can take the tube to Märkisches Museum station, this is right beside the hotel, this will cost about 2.30 euros per person. The hotel location was excellent to take in the sights of Berlin. It is actually possible to do a walking tour and see the main attractions. Would definitely recommend. Przeczytaj więcej

Excellent hotel with friendly service. Right by U-Bahn station so ideal for getting around the city.

Hotel is great for the price. Did not have the breakfast. Nice area and very close to main train station.

We really enjoyed our stay at Derrag Living Hotel. The rooms were beautiful and the staff very helpful. The location was great as it was right beside the U. I would definitly stay there again and would recommend to others.

Staff at the hotel were really amazing and would do anything they would to help. Only issue was that one of our rooms was extremely hot, and this is decemeber in Berlin! One of our party had a street facing veiw and that was fine as the window opened, but the other room was facing the inside of the hotel and was extremely hot in the night. Very convenient hotel - close to the subway, large rooms, silent area and nice staff. Few cafees and nice restaurants nearby, but they are only 2 subway stops away.

Really nice hotel, affordable, friendly staff, free beer and water in your room, tea making facilities, excellent location - ubahn right on the doorstep. Not many restaurants/bars in the immediate neighbourhood - but this does mean that it is nice and quiet.

Overall I was positively surprised by the value for money we got from this hotel. I would definitely recommend it to friends. - The room was spotless - staff was friendly - Sauna/spa/fitness were free of charge and a welcome addition - Daily free bottle of beer and water in the room - Thought the direct environment of the hotel isn't very inspiring, […] it is perfectly located to start your walk around the city sights. The hotel is really well placed and within walking distance of many great restaurants and sights. The main point is its stuck in the 90's, dated decor but still very comfortable. For the price and the location it can't really be faulted, but for appeal its neither modern or old fashioned. Staff are very smiley and friendly/helpful. I'll make it easy on myself and just say that I had absolutely no complaints about the hotel. It was in a central location, the staff was very warm and welcoming. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and spacious.

loved the free minibar which was replenished with water and beer every day. the first day I arrived the hotel was a bit hot (no A/C) but after that when the outside temps were cooler I was comfortable. Very nice cozy room and reasonably priced indeed.

My wife and I and 2 adult children arrived in Berlin for the next part of our European adventure. The courteous staff greeted us and spoke english. They provided us with directions and assisted my son in finding a hospital as he required medical attention. Our accomodations were outstanding and perfectly clean. The underground subway was just outside […] the hotel which made sightseeing very easy. This is our first visit to Berlin from Canada and thanks to the Derag Hotel and their staff we would definitely return. We really enjoyed our stay in The Derag and would highly reccommend it to others. Excellent location and value for money. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Gym/Sauna and steam room facilities availabe. Fridge in room.The staff were very welcoming and on our depature day were able to leave our cases and when we returned in the evening were allowed showering […] facilities before travelling. Recommandable Hotel

This hotel is directly off the Markisches Museum stop of the U2 line of the U-Bahn. It's also about a 10-15 minute walk from Alexanderplatz, which is a more central U-Bahn station with a lot of shopping nearby. In terms of convenience for getting around Berlin, this hotel can't be beat. The hotel itself seems to have been recently renovated - the lights […] in the hall are on automatic sensor so they turn off until you exit your room or the elevator. The beds are a bit soft for my taste. In the room we had, there was a small fridge with 2 bottles of water and 2 bottles of beer, replenished every night we drank one - for free! The room was a double room with two twin beds and was a good size and generally very functional. My only negative is regarding the lack of air conditioning and general ventilation. The hotel has no A/C. By itself, this is not a deal-breaker. However, there is barely any air either! We called downstairs every night because we'd return and the room would be stifling, and we were instructed on how to turn on the "ventilation", which was pathetic. So instead we slept with the window wide open, which solved the temperature problem but was rather loud. Also, you get an hour of free wireless internet every night - it's pathetic speed, so don't count on using it for work or serious web surfing. My friend who accompanied me said the sauna facilities were also very nice, though I didn't see these. We also didn't eat the hotel breakfast - other reviewers mentioned it was overpriced, so we generally just ate elsewhere. Overall, this is a good place to stay, and I got a decent rate. If they fixed their internet access and their ventilation, I'd give it 5 stars all the way down. Przeczytaj więcej

The Derag is excellently placed with the entrance to the U-Bahn just a few steps away and Alexander Platz a two minute journey and Potsdamerplatz a few minutes the other way. Clean and comfortable with the bonus of free beer in the fridge. Ostensibly the room(s) are air-conditioned but why then does the room get so hot during the night? Opening the […] window can cool it down but the traffic noise is considerable. Missing the tea and coffee making facilities I got into the habit of cracking a bottle of beer first thing in the morning - hope that's not a habit I continue. We didn't try the restaurant as it was expensive, instead preferring Milly's Cafe 100 yards away and much better value. Good, comfortable hotel, close to station which is very useful. There is no air conditioning in the hotel, which was not a problem for us as we were not there during hot weather, but could be a problem. There are windows that open in the bedroom. Overall very satisfied

last week i stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. the staff and the room were great! room very very clean and comfortable. the hotel was 100 meters from train station. would definatly go there again

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern. In an excellent location right next to U-Bahn station, which means getting around is easy. Only downside was the optional breakfast which didn't look good value for the price. However it is so easy to eat out in Berlin, it wasn't a problem. There is an excellent lebanese restaurant downstairs (which we tried and […] would recommend - especially the argentinian steak!) and also a curry house across the road, which we didn't get chance to try. The hotel is centrally located, literally around the corner from a U2 subway station that accesses all the major sights, 3 minute walk to a supermarket, pharmacy, and internet cafe (not to mention the hotel's own, generous compared to similar places, policy of 1 free internet hour per day in their lobby), and a 5-10 minute walk to world-class museums […] of the Museum Island. The service team was helpful and spoke good English, the rooms were probably a bit less than 4-star quality, but very quiet and clean. The Hotel was clean and exactly as per the description. Its right next to the underground station and has a number of restaurants near by. For the price it cannot be beaten. However with a booking classed as a Business Rate, we did not expect to receive when checking out a €16 per person per day charge for breakfast - at no point was it explained that […] this was not included in the price, and even when enjoying breakfast this was not mentioned. The other point to note is that the 'Business Centre' is a single PC with internet access. With a room you receive 1hour free access... This means that you can be waiting for anything upto an hour to use the 'business centre' Overall, excluding the breakfast, the hotel is met all our requirements and I would recommend staying here...just don't have the breakfast! We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The staff was always pleasant, courteous and quite helpful. The hotel is very well located for those who want to walk to explore Berlin. We are willing to walk quite long distances. If we did not want to walk, the U bahn station was right out the front door. We really were satisfied that we chose this […] hotel. The løcation ok by the river Spree - 10 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz.. 10 meters from nearest Metrostation. Very little traffic .. quiet area.
