Emmantina Hotel - Glifada

The food was wonderful in the hotel. The room was fine. The only drawback is that the hotel is on a busy street so when you sit on the balcony you have a lot of traffic noise. However, it is worth bearing to watch the sunsets.

The staff is very nice and competent. The food in the restaurant is too expensive, you do not get value for your money

But for the price, just fine. You'll be roughing it a little bit, the beds are kind of stiff, the a/c just a notch insufficient and the room pretty small. But everything we needed worked, the towels were fluffy, hot water, and whatdaheck - we were in ATHENS!!!! Beach a short walk away( small rocks not sand) but spotless. We are are a family of five and decided to stay at Emmantina Hotel for several reasons. First, they were one of the FEW hotels which would allow five people to a room. Second, the hotels.com website listed this hotel as a four star hotel which was something that attracted us. Lastly, since we only needed a hotel for a few hours, because we were flying […] out early the next morning, we needed a hotel with close proximity to the airport. The website lists this hotels as being only 12 miles away. All of this information would of course prove to be erronous once we arrive at the hotel. For starters, the hotel is about 27 km from the airport which is farther than 12 miles. Upon arival at the hotel, the taxi driver was unable to pull into the circular drive of the hotel because a car was parked there. We were let out on the curb of a very busy street. Once we entered the hotel the clerk was busy with something and never quite acknowledged us until my husband spoke to him. There was no bell service and the elevator was the size of a shoe box. We did not have one room, we had two connecting rooms with all twin beds. We had a very uneasy feeling overall during our short stay, even inside our rooms. This supposed "four star" hotel had more the feeling of a motel than anything else. I certainly would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. Przeczytaj więcej

This hotel is pretty far away from the port and downtown Athens. However, it is close to a fairly upscale dining and shopping area. The advertised airport shuttle only runs every hour from 8am on, and it costs 9 Euros a person. The internet and printing facilities are pretty nice, although it's a little annoying to have to log in all the time.

Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous!

A really great hotel with a really nice swimming pool on the 5th floor. Close proximity to the ocean, but you have to cross a busy street to get there. Pretty good continental breakfast and about a 10-15 minute walk from a busy town center that stays crowded at night. The hotel appeals to low rent businessmen from all parts of Europe and Russia. Lena is a nice dedicated front desk person for an otherwise below average hotel. The street in front of the hotel is busy, noisy and polluted almost all hours of the day. The hotel facility is old and in need of repairs. I would not stay here again.

The Emmantina Hotel is located across the street from Glyfada Beach. It is in a great location for swimming and the clubs relocate in the summer to the beach so it is good for partying. The main street below is constantly buzzing with motorcycles and traffic. The tram and bus stops are located across the street. The tram takes about 40 minutes to get […] to the ruins and the bus takes about 35 min. The bus also takes about 45 from the same bus stop to get to the airport. The Hondo Center is a nice shopping center about 5 min walk from the hotel. It's kind of like Macy's. There is a nice restaurant/bar called Flocafe that serves good food and drinks and coffee. The only complaints I have about Emmantina Hotel is you must pay to use the sauna and buy towels to use at the beach, the hotel won't lend them to you. As well as pay for the shuttle to the airport and to use the internet. Also it is not convenient to downtown Athens so give yourself plenty of time for travel. Hotelli oli mukava ja jopa uima-allas yllätti ihan positiivisesti. Henkilökunta oli avuliasta. Ainoa miinus on ruuhkainen tie aivan hotellin edessä. Nopeudet kolmikaistaisella tiellä saattavat olla yllttävänkin kovat.

Εμείς μείναμε στο ξενοδοχείο λόγω ενός γάμου στη γειτονιά και μας εξυπηρετούσε πολύ η θέση του. Έτυχε να πάρουμε κάποια έκπτωση αλλά έτσι και αλλιώς θεωρούμε ότι αξίζει με το πάρα πάνω τα λεφτά του.

Et lækkert hotel med rigtig god service og lækker mad, samt dejlige værelser. Der var ikke langt til offentlig transport. Bussen holdt næsten lige udenfor døren og 500 m. til Tram (sporvogn). Begge kørte lige til centrum af Athen. Der var heller ikke langt til et stort område med mange forskellige butikker, samt spisesteder. Bra service, fin "roof garden" med bra pool, solning samt mat&dryck. Fina rum, rent och snyggt, däremot hårda sängar!!! bra frukost fin lobby samt extremt fina toaletter nere i lobbyn/källaren.

sehr freundlicher Empfang.Das Haus ist in einem guten Zustand.Leider ist die Lage an der stark befahrenen Uferstrasse nicht gerade ein Traum. Abgase! Leider funktionierte die AC nachrs nicht einwandfrei, so dass wir die Balkontür öffnen mußten. Das war dann ab frühen Morgen sehr laut.
