for the amount of money I paid - this was a perfect hotel that was REALLY close to where I needed to be. The beds were great. if you need a place to lay your head for one or two nights - and you aren't picky - this is a great option.

I was surprised that we didn't get a room that we had requested. A king suite is what we asked for and the only ones available were on the 2nd floor. My husband cannot carry suitcases up a flight of stairs and they don't put elevators in these small hotels for some reason. So we had to take a queen double. The room was clean put really, really small. […] I'm glad we had plans that evening and only had to sleep there. I work out of town so I wanted an inexpensive hotel close to work because of some icy weather that was coming and didn't want to worry about driving back and forth for the commute. I asked for a smoking room with 1 queen bed and was given one that was a handicap room on the 1st floor, even though the hotel was virtually empty. The only problem I had […] with that was the difficulty in taking a shower because the shower head is on a sliding bar and wouldn't stay up high enough over my head (I'm 5'5"). The tub floor is higher than the bathroom floor so I almost fell stepping out of it, expecting it to be nearly level. Also, the hardware on the pocket door to the bathroom had several screws missing and was about to fall off, so I wasn't comfortable closing it all of the way and would NOT have attempted to lock it if I had needed to. It was very difficult to get the room adjusted to a comfortable temperature; it was either too hot or too cold. After tweaking it for several hours, I finally got it to a comfortable level. The registers were a bit dirty behind the grill. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, the continental breakfast was handy, and my room was very clean (with no critters). There was also a dorm-sized refrigerator/freezer in my room (which I didn't need but nice if I had). For the price, I feel I got more than expected. I would stay there again. It is a 1/2 block from The Beach water park and very close to King's Island (a few blocks). I-71 is a 1/2 block away & there are many restaurants and gas stations nearby. In summary, if you want a luxury hotel with plenty of room and creature comforts, this is not it. But if you just need an inexpensive, clean place to put your stuff and a bed to sleep in, this will do just fine. Przeczytaj więcej

Our room was very clean, as was the rest of the public area. Very convenient location right off the freeway, with several food choices nearby. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean. Overall it was a good value.

Was very pleased with our stay @ Microtel in Mason, Ohio. The room was nice for our weekend @ Kings Island. With 2 Adults and 3 children, the room was set up perfectly for us. The refrigerator and microwave were a very nice addition as well as the window lounge for our extra youngster. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for […] showers. Went to the water park, and stayed all day, then out to the near by restaurants then back to the hotel. Check in was smooth, the rooms were very clean, we slept like babies. We will stay there again!!!

Very clean & nice kept rooms. It is great to go to a hotel and see how clean it is. I will stay there again.

Had to wait & wait for someone to come to the front desk. Border needs replaced in the rooms, falling off. Very comfortable beds & clean room. Couldn't beat the price & several restaurants very close by. Pleasant experience

My main complaint with this room as that it had a STRONG smell of mold. I told the hotel staff about this twice and their comment was that the area had a lot of rain recently, which I don't buy. Otherwise, for the money it was fine. While I was at the front desk, I overheard the clerk speaking to someone trying to check in and they were quoted a rate […] that was $50 more than what I paid through hotels.com. I am very thankful that I did not pay that much for my room. Next time, I will pay more for a nicer place. This hotel was better then I expected. The location was great. Walking distance from the water park and a Bob Evans resturant, that had great food. Only a mile from Kings Island. The room was big and comfortable. My wife really enjoyed the comfort of the beds. And the price was very reasonable. I would recommend it. And I would stay again!!

Very basic, but that's all we needed. Clean, comfortable - at least, our 2 rooms were - for an economical price. Only thing we missed was a blow-dryer in the rooms!

Nice hotel for the price. We just wanted a place to sleep. Good location to Kings Island. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

The main complaint I had with the hotel was that our toilet kept stopping up, which is very difficult for 2 adults and 3 children. They unclogged it and told us the reason it was backed up was because of all the rain.

This hotel was completely filthy -- the sheets were dirty, the towels were dirty, the floors had not even been vacuumed (there were several large chunks of food and "stuff" on the floors), the front desk was NEVER manned so it was very difficult to find anyone to ask for clean things. I requested a non smoking room and (though we were some of the only […] guests in the hotel) they placed us directly next to a smoking room, so our entire room smelled like smoke. No elevator, hardly any amenities. I will never stay here again. Dirty, smelly, gross, old

This hotel is really good for the price I paid for it! Loved everything about it and could not ask for more.

Tried to charge us twice. Dirty and smelly Pay a few extra $ and stay somewhere else you wont be sorry. Find a place that has a shuttle to the parks, the savings on parking will more than pay for the extra hotel rate.
