Lisboa Plaza Hotel - Lizbona

This hotel and the people who are employees are wonderful. We find that hotels are beginning to look the same on every continent. This is an exception. If you are in Lisbon, this is the place to stay.

A great stay at this classically styled hotel that had friendly and helpful staff, an excellent breakfast, a good sized clean double room, lovely lounges and a terrace, a perfect location that was easy to find and close to the main sights. The only minor complaints are that the walls in the room were a little thin as it was fairly easy to hear next […] door, and that the modern sink in the bathroom could not be blocked and was fairly easy to get splashed by it when using it. Lovely location near the main street, but one block off so not so much traffic noise. Near a lovely park. The one negative - the plumbing for the toilet made the toilet squeal after flushing and I never figured out what the trick was. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to be helpful - even to the point of getting a real ice bag(not just […] a plastic baggy to put ice in), so that I could ice my knee after I slipped and re-injured my knee. For a 4 Stars hotel I thought the rooms and service was very average. Having said that, beautiful breakfast and breakfast staff were very friendly. Very convenient location too.

We couldn't have been more pleased with this small boutique hotel on our first visit to Lisbon. It is conveniently located, the staff was consistently helpful (especially since we don't speak their language), and the facilities were superb. We were traveling with another family and had a wonderful one week stay in this charming hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were generously sized. Two cots were rolled into each room to accomodate the children. The service was exceptional and the staff extremely helpful. Very nice hotel, well situated and in a quiet neighbourhood. Shame about the unfriendly and unhelpful Reception staff (apart from the young doorman, who was clien friendly).

This hotel is in a very good location and the staff very friendly and helpful. The lobby of the hotel is charming with an old colonial style and very nice. The breakfast was also very nice. The rooms however are out of date and need to be renovated. We had two adjoining rooms which were quite spacious but felt very old. The carpets felt like they were […] 50 yrs. old and the room had a strong musty smell. The bathrooms could very easily be modernized by removing shower curtains and putting in plexiglass. the entry of the hotel felt like it was a 4 star but the rooms were the quality of a 3 star. We stayed here for two nights as a stopever before getting a plane back home. The cab fare to the Lisbon Airport was only 9 Euros. The best thing about the hotel is that is very convenioenct to just about everything. the Rossio, Restauradores, Bairro Alto, Baixa, Chiado, Jardim Botanico, Estrella. The room and bathroom were a little small for my liking, […] but then again when you are so close to ecerything, there should be no issue. A charming 'boutique' hotel with plenty of character and traditional decor. Friendly and knowledgable Staff, very centrally located close to the old part of the City. You must visit the Lusitania cafe/restaurant for excellent traditional food and wine at local prices. The roof terrace was a lovely retreat away from hustle and bustle.

Das Personal war ausgesucht freundlich, wirklich nett. Die Zimmer waren jedoch grenzwertig klein und der angekündigte Fitnessraum entpuppte sich als fensterloser Raum mit Laufband. Hotelgäste haben aber Sonderkonditionen bei Fitnesscentern in der Nähe. Glimrende beliggenhed i Lissabon; pænt og trygt område i midten af alt; det tog max 10 minutter at gå til det meste. Folkene på hotellet var personlige og menneskelige samtidigt med at de var serviceminded. Som prikken over iét var der en stor og solrig terrasse. Smukt : )

We had booked a room with two double beds and was very pleased with what we got. Friendly service. Located about 10 minutes walk from one of the many restaurant streets of Lisbon. Breakfast was not eaten at the hotel due to early departure.

OK hotel in an OK area. A bit oldfashioned. Big bathroom. The room itself was not very big even thoug we had booked a deluxe room. I would have prefered a hotel closer to the city center. Good service!

Hotel très bien situé, joli et pas trop grand. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, copieux et de bonne qualité. Les chambres sont bien mais méritent un rafraichissement : moquette et salle de bain notamment. Terrasse sympathique au dernier étage pour prendre un peu le soleil.

We arrived at the hotel late at night but were welcomed by a friendly staff that took good care of us. The hotel is relatively small, but decorated in a cosy manner. There were small details like lit candles in the hallways. The rooms are not big, but they are equipped with a minibar and a TV, which was enough. The hotel is situated paralel to Av. Liberdade […] and was therefore close to the centre, many bars, restaurants and the metro. The location of the hotel also contributed to the fact, that we didn't hear any traffic at all. Rolig og sentrumsnær beliggenhet i sidegate parallellt med den store parkliknende Avenue Liberdad. Ca.10 min og ca.10 euro med taxi fra flyplassen. Gangavstand til en hel gate med restauranter, de gamle bydelene Alfama, Baixa og Bairro Alto. Vennlig og effektiv betjening i resepsjon. Stort, deilig rom og lekkert marmorkledd velfungerende bad med super […] dusj i badekar, marmorservant, wc, bidet og godt lys i hele taket. Gode senger og fine tradisjonelle møbler med flislagte flater. Fin utsikt til trær og blomstrende syrin bortenfor en slags bakgård med springvann på taket til spisesalen. Vakkert trapperom med tepper i steintrapp og typisk portugisiske fliser på veggene - vi tok heller trappen enn heisen! Vennlig og effektiv betjening i spisesal ga god service. Upåklagelig frokost med godt utvalg, effektiv espressomaskin og utsikt gjennom store vinduer til et smalt hagearrangement med planter og springvann i flere etasjer. Flott helg på alletiders koselige hotell. På Lisboa plaza blir du allerede i døren møtt med hotellets gjennomgående servicenivå. Døren blir åpnet for deg og din bagasje båret opp til rommet. Innsjekking gikk uten problemer, kvitteringen fra hotels.com forble ubrukt i lommen - det var ingen overraskelse at vi kom! Ved innsjekking fikk vi et kort som […] gjaldt et glass portvin. Den ble senere omsat i hotellets hyggelige bar. Rommet var helt ok. Velutstyrt og reint og pent, og i vårt tilfelle med utsikt til treene i Lisboas botaniske hage. Det var ingenting å si på rengjøringen av rommet og rengjøringdpersonalet var hyggelige og altid klar med en hilsen i gangen. Frukosten var rett og slett en oplevelse. Alt hva du kunne ønske deg av lokale brødtyper, oste, juicer, frisk frukt og deilig kaffe og the. Og igjen preget av personalets professionelle service. Hotellet har en flott beliggenhet med noen få minutters gang til sentrale Lisboa. Samtidig akkurat langt nokk unna til at det ikke finnes generende støy v hotellet. I 5 etasje finner du en dejlig liten takterasse med hvite stein, grønne busker og liggestoler. Vi nøt denne lille oasen når beina skulle ha en pause etter å ha vandret gatelangs. Alt i alt har jeg ingen betenkeligheter med å anbefale hoteller på det varmeste. Flott service, hyggelige hjelpsomme ansatte, en god frukost og flott beliggenhet. Przeczytaj więcej

Hotellet ligger fint og stille til, samtidig som det er sentralt. Hotellet har et "gammeldags" preg med tunge gardiner, gamle møbler og trange, gamle heiser. Samtidig er det gjennomført, pent og med flere mindre salonger, samt alle moderne fasiligteter. Vi fikk anbefalinger som viste seg å være gull verd angående både spisersteder og sight-seeing.
