Bardzo przyzwoity hotel w rozsadnej cenie, schludny i czysty. Pani z obslugi - przemila. Sniadanie skromne - chleb tostowy z dzemem i platki z mlekiem oraz kawa. Ale w tej cenie nie ma co narzekac. Lokalizacja przy metrze linii czerwonej (bezposredni dojazd do Akropolu). Okolica na pierwszy rzut oka przygnebiajaca z uwagi na opuszczone i odrapane budynki, ale bezpiecznie. Mialem pokoj z fantastycznym tarasem na ktorym mozna bylo pic piwko do poznej nocy.

"HOTEL POSEIDON, ATHENS"
The room was too dark and there was a lot of noise even far into the night/early mornings. we complained the night before our departure,the lady at the reception was very good and told us we should have complained the day after our arrival adding that the hotel was full as we arrived on a saturday night. we did not find this explanation acceptable because […] we booked four weeks in advance. However the location of the hotel was good for the purpose of our visit as it was only about 20 minutes walk from the address of our relative we were visiting. "Good hotel, but far from port"
Bright, modern hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Only negative was the Hotels.com description led us to believe it was a short walk — not a 30€ cab ride — to the cruise ship piers.
"Very pleasant stay"
Only stayed for one night. I must remark that the staff was more than helpful, kind and courteous. The breakfast room view took my breath away as it had been decorated for a wedding the previous evening. The room had panoramic view overlooking the entire coast line. Hotel was super comfy, spectacular food, across the road from the beach, 10 euro cab ride to Athens. Travel agent one side, minimart and pharmacy the other side. Great beach side restaurant across the road too.

The Good: Cool rooftop pool & bar, amazing breakfast overlooking the Saronic Gulf beach with views to Pireaus, easy road-crossing to beach, 40m to Syntagma square on tram. This is a lovlely hotel that is close to the beach the bus to the airport is across the road and so is the trainfor the center of athens overall it is a great hotel

"Poseidon hotel - Palio Faliro - March 2011"
Staff were great, easy and quick check in. Good location, on sea front with buses and a tram stop on Poseidonos road in front of hotel. Buses to Athens centre or Piraeus and tram to Athens (Syntagma) or Glyfada and Voula. Hotel undergoing some renovations (March 2011) so breakfast was served up on top floor - great view. Waiter brought out eggs, bacon, […] ham, cheese, bread, honey and coffee (not buffet breakfast). Breakfast was great - good service and decent food - nothing spectacular but perfect for the day ahead and had great views on 7th floor of the sea front. Had a dbl room which was facing the sea - so good views and up on the 6th floor. Only issue was that there was quite a bit of noise from the highway (seaside) and the windows, although dbl glazed, seem to allow alot of noise through, even on 6th floor. Would recommend getting a room on the back side of the hotel and the higher up the better for those who are light sleepers. No cable tv - but to be honest if you are going to greece to sit in the hotel and watch tv then this hotel is not for you.. Overall - decent hotel and very decent price (incl breakfast) and well located with friendly and helpful staff. Only negative was that the seafront rooms can be noisy from the Poseidonos highway.. πολυ καλο για την τιμη του..καθαρο ανακαινισμενο καλο πρωινο..γενικως πολυ ικανοποιητικη διαμονη και με αμεση προσβαση οπουδηποτε με το τραμ (σταση ακριβως μπροστα) και με θεα τη θαλασσα!!!

"Ideale Bus-Verbindung mit dem Flughafen"
Das Hotel liegt in eine ideale Lage. Mit dem Bus von Flughafen (jederzeit) kann man bis vor der Türe des Hotes fahren (Busstop EDEM). Genau gleich vom Hotel zum Flughafen und kostet nur 5 euro. Das Meer liegt ein paar Meter vom Hotel und der Strand ist lang und sauber. Vom Hotel mit dem Tram kann man nach Athen oder Piräus fahren. Pga streik var det umulig å komme seg til flyplassen, men hotellet stilte opp med egen bil. Dette kostet litt ekstra, men super service! Beliggenheten passer oss perfekt i forhold til marinaen.

hotel très confortable, en face de la mer avec piscine sur le toit, station TRAM juste devant, mais clim bruyante et 2x4 voies qui passe devant avec grandes portes vitrées pas du tout isolantes. S'ils changeaint les vitrages, cet hotel serait parfait!!! sinon, petit dejeuner buffet copieux, carrefour market juste à cote, plage sable en face de l'hotel […] et possibilité de chambres communicantes pour familles. Hinta-laatu suhteelta kelvollinen hotelli, hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen myös ihan ok: pekonia, munia, juustoa, makkaraa, muroja, hedelmiä. Hotellihuoneet pieniä, mutta perussiistejä - osasta merinäköala (osasta vain osittainen). Erityisplussaa hotellin oma ranta tien toisella puolella, jossa ravintola ja baari mistä voi ostaa juomia + pientä syötävää […] myös rannalle edullisesti. Hotellin edestä lähtevällä raitiovaunulla pääsee Syntagma-aukiolle puolessa tunnissa ja Pireuksen satamaan (vaihto metroon Neo Faliron asemalla) samassa ajassa. Viereisessä rakennuksessa on Carrefour-marketti, joka on avoinna yhdeksään illalla. Miinusta erittäin vilkas liikenne (myös öisin) hotellin edessä menevällä Poseidonos Avenuella - korvatulpat mukaan niin senkin kestää. "Hotel Poseidon - wrong map position"
The hotel was OK with the beach and the marina across the road. However we spent a long time finding it as the map position was several kilometers wrong, The correct position is across the road from Kalamaki Alimos Marina. Airport bus X96 stops right outside.

Läget vid havet och stranden samt närheten till spårvagnen var positivt. Kraftig trafik utanför hotellet som dock inte störde inomhus. Restaurangutbudet sparsamt i närområdet. Matvarubutik alldeles intill hotellet. Bokade detta hotell för att kunna nyttja poolen på taket på fm och efter stadsbesöken, men denna var stängd pga reparationer runt om poolen. "Gute Verkehrsanbindung"
Superverkehrsanbindung. Flughafenbus (40 min) hält direkt vor dem Hotel ("Haltestelle Edem"). Die Innenstadt von Athen ist in ca. 30 min direkt mit der Straßenbahn zu erreichen. Freundliches Personal; gutes Frühstück. Man sollte auf den Meerblick verzichten und ein Zimmer nach hinten verlangen, denn vor dem Hotel verläuft eine 6-spurige Schnellstraße […] mit Höllenlärm. "Fantastisk udsigt - utroligt larmende"
Hotellet er placeret lige ud til stranden. Vi fik fint værelse med balkon og udsigt udove ægæerhavet. Lige nedenfor stoppede sporvogn til centrum. MEN - der løber en 6 sporet vej lige udenfor og det er umuligt at sove - grækerne kører altid, dytter, larmer og det ødelagde i det hele taget oplevelsen. "Breath taking View and panorama"
The view is fantastic!! The hotel is high and the view from of the city and beach is magnificient. The restaurants panoramic view is breath taking and the terrasse on the roof is so relaxing. I also loved the bar and restaurant on the beach which is great after a day in the city to relax and have a beer or cocktail. be carefull though the prices are […] different from the bar and the restaurant. The rooms are ok nothing extraordinary but good, the bathroom was quite big though. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The city center is about 30 min by tramway and those are quite frequent. The hotel was very clean and had a very good service in the reception and a splendid breakfats buffet. it is situated close to Pireus port and we used as a stop over between the port and the airport.

Svært fornøyd med beliggenheten, liten avstand til stranda, fint basseng på takterassen. Lett adkomst til bykjernen. God frokost. Vi hadde det fint!
