I booked a non smoking room, and was put in a smoking room. REALLY, GROSS...YUCK...It took over 2 hours and several calls to the from desk to fix it, and was put in the type of room I originally booked. Their explanation was that Expedia sent them the wrong info..I beleive that the front desk person just wanted to clear the reservation and stuck me […] in the smoker room.Also, the place was FULL of young teenagers my entire 4 days, who were World Class door slammers. Not much quality rest, (yes, I used earplugs) & the room itself was quite nice and clean. Bed pretty comfy, when I could sleep. Good enough choices in the breakfast room. "Affordable and great place to stay"
The room was great, I was really happy that the room didn't smell of smoke even though it was a smoking room. Breakfast was great. Overall positive experience.

We were in town for the World Robotic Compitition. Although this motel isn't downtown, it is an easy trip on I-55. Hotel was what we expect in a clean, comfortable place to live away from home.

the breakfast was good. the room was nice and clean. it was quite a drive to the zoo/museum/ballfield, etc but for the price of the hotel you can't complain. they have a nice kid pool for young kids and the adult pool is pretty big too

"Off the beaten path, but nice"
Very nice and clean! The bathroom was well maintained. The TV remotes were very fussy. You must be close and point then at the right spot on the TV. Also, I don't take long showers, but I ran out of hot water on my last day. I have never had that happen to me in any hotel before. Other days were fine...hot water wise. The free breakfasts are great!
"IIt was a good choice for me"
Everything was very professional and clean. It was recommended that I eat dinner at the nearby 54th st Grill and Bar- that turned out to be a poor choice, but the hotel was great. Breakfast was the standard fare, but well laid out in a nice atmosphere.

Overall the stay was fine. Really the only problem I had with the hotel was minor issues: detectable seam in concrete floor running through room, quiet rattle from mini frig, fire door caught on the floor as it opened, but still worked. All in all, these were really minor points in my book, The morning breakfast was a good variety, there was coffee […] available all the time and the pool was nice. Though no hot tub there was a dedicated wading pool, not that I needed it, but still a nice option for parents of young kids. Housekeeping did a good job and the linens were clean. The king bed was a bit soft for my liking, but better that than too hard. While the street was a bit awkward (sandwiched between the QT gas station and a bank), access to and from I55 is simple and quick. I didn't expect any frills or luxurious accommodations. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was tasty. Only negative was limited access into hotel. We either had to go through lobby and take the one small elevator to our third floor room, or go up three flights of stairs on the outside of the hotel to a door that does not seem even […] with the concrete platform. The door would not open very far before dragging along the floor and we would have to put some effort into it to open all the way or close. Not a big deal, but a minor inconvenience with two small dogs that need to take trips outside a few times a day. "Good stay."
15 minutes from Busch Stadium. Great staff. Breakfast well prepared and complete. Room extremely well-kept. Parking free and convenient. Only complaint is that the floor/ceiling is a little thin. Guest above was a tad heavy-footed and clumsy, so it sounded like a roller rink for a while... but if you get the 3rd (top) floor, you'll be okay.

The hotel was ok. No hot tub which was disappointing. They have a "kiddie pool" and the pool in general wasn't very warm. Breakfast was wonderful in the morning. only had a problem at checkin with the staff person on duty. ended up apologizing to each other, but she was not very friendly after that. otherwise, excellent staff and no problems with the stay. they went out of their way to rearrange things so we could stay an extra night.

Dewayne was at the front desk when we checked in and he was not very friendly, there was just something missing with his ability to make us feel comfortable and he could multitask very well. As always, I was apprehensive when booking a hotel for a family vacation. This hotel was great. It was extremely clean,the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was good. This hotel is about 15 minutes or so from downtown,but the drive was easy. I would definitely recommend it to a family on a budget.

Very good breakfast selection (warm, cold, fruit). Rooms had amenities such as microwave, fridge and safe. Wireless Internet worked fine.
The pool was not heated and you didn't have a hot tub breakfast was ok.

The room was great. The king-sized bed was fantastic. The food bar offered a full breakfast which lasted until 10am - not the usual 9am. Although we didn't partake of the exercise room or the pool, both looked very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this location as a definite place to stay and would return on the next trip out.

"Arnold, MO Hotel-Close to St. Louis, but Quiet"
Hotel was very accessible. Comfortable beds, clean/quiet rooms, great hot breakfast, and friendly/helpful staff. We definitely would recommend this room to friends and family. We plan to return.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights while attending NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship. Everything about the hotel was just right: the price, the service, the staff and he room. The breakfast had variety and really god quality, the folks at the Front Desk were awesome! "Just what we hoped for"
We were looking for an inexpensive hotel near St. Louis. Cleanliness and price were our priorities, so we were willing to stay a ways out from downtown. This fit the bill perfectly. I booked this hotel for my husband and sons SX trip. I booked it under my name and credit card, paid in full the day I booked. And they were not going to let my husband check in. I gave him my confirmation email with all info. His DL has the same address and same last name. There was no reason in the world to try and denie him a room paid for. This was the best hotel in this price range that I have ever found. Very clean room, has a swimming pool, offered free breakfast including hot food. Well worth the price!!!

This is a great hotel for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was nice & very clean. Bed was super-comfy. My family rented several rooms for a weekend get-together and our rooms were all together as requested. The pool was nice. The hot tub was not working though the water was warm. But it made a nice wading pool for the little […] kids. Nice lobby with comfy couches where we gathered for conversation and pictures. Breakfast was great, even with a very large crowd on a Sunday morning, the staff kept everything refilled. Location great, Cracker Barrel next door, not too far from downtown. All at a bargain price.
