"Not Happy"
Very Disappointed. I booked a seperate sleeping area and recieved nothing of what I needed. Was charged for a deluxe and ended up with a standard. way to small for what i needed. Then was charged extra when getting still what i didnt order. Tv didnt work for the first hour, and the phone in the living area didnt work.

Clean, friendly staff, Great restaurant on site. Breakfast was very tasty. Pool has attendants while water slide is operating. Great place for kids.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak in Brandon. The restaurant in the hotel was Excellent, and breakfast was included in the price of our stay. For breakfast, we had a coupon to go to the restaurant and order what we wanted of the menu. "Roal Oak Inn"
My stay at the Royal Oak was enjoyable,the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the service was second to none. I wouldn't think twice about booking here again.
The hotel is not bad for the age of the hotel. The restaurant service was poor

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak They were pet freindly and our dogs were welcome with no problems. The only issue was the heat the room was over 25 degrees the whole time we were there and there was no way to change it. We did talk to the front desk and altho they were very appoligetic couldnt do anything because we paid via hotels.com

We found that the check in clerks were really lacking in the service they provided. They seemed unsure of their job. They didnt offer us our complementary breakfasts I had to return to ask for them. I seen 2 other groups that had same experience. The girl sitting at the pool apparently to watch people paid no attention to what was going on. Never stopped […] kids from diving into pool or pushing at top of water slide. She chatted with a friend both times we were there while slowly folding towels. The Echo restaurant was a bit pricey. Otherwise it was a VERY good hotel - lovely, comfortable rooms, all conveniences & great complementary breakfasts. (Only suggestion - that hotel post better directions on location & how to use ice machines.) Doors closing could be more silent however.

we totally enjoyed our stay the room was very comfortable and the staff was courteous and helpful . we would not hesitate to go back again
"Royal Oak - Brandon"
Overall a very nice place to stay in Brandon. We do want to mention that we stayed in early April and our room was so warm we could not get it cooled down even with the window open. The hotel supplied a fan which helped a bit. The hotel was fully booked which put a strain on the speed of the food service.
"Unaccessible amenities"
Overall the stay was positive. However, they should have disclosed that not all amenities (hot tub) would be available during the duration of the stay when we called the day before to confirm our reservation. The pool staff told us it had been down for 4 days and it would be at least 4 more until it was operational. Also the individual temperature control […] in each unit was not operational, thus the room was too hot necessitating an open window (as directed by the maintenance person they sent to the room). This proved uncomfortable as we were on the ground floor and the window impeded on the walkway from the parking area. Thus, we had to keep our curtains closed constantly for privacy and the window had to be closed for safety concerns and to block out the constant flow of foot traffic and the accompanying chatter. Room is overpriced. The included "Deluxe" continental breakfast can best be described as muffins, fruit & coffee. Not very inpressed.
