Hotel was clean. Bathroom was very small. Balcony was nice. Front desk staff could be a little more friendly.

The Hotel served our purpose, it was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a little out of the way but we had to drive all over L.A. so it did not matter. I would recomend it.

I made the reservation for what they call a premium room with 2 queen beds. Called the hotel twice to make sure they have that available since I will check in late. When I arrived there at 8pm, they didnt have that available. What they gave me was a 1 king room. If I remember correctly the rate for that room was like $15 lower. The hotel said they cannot […] refund since it was a third party booking, hotels.com said they cannot guarantee the type of bed so cannot do anything. The corridor carpet is heavily stained and so are some of the furnitures. When I entered the room, found heavy smell of freshly applied disinfectant (which eventually faded away). First, let me just say that my daughter and I really appreciated this place after experiencing another place downtown the night before. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything looked new and it is well-maintained. Plus the staff here was very helpful and accommodating. Since I was leaving before the regular breakfast hours, they made sure to have […] things available to me before I left. My daughter needed a late checkout because of a late afternoon flight and that was fine with them also. There really was nothing to complain about in this place. We stayed here for 2 nights: good location, continental breakfast was basic, suit was not as big as I expected: living room/area was super small but nice to have 2 flat screen TVs. Only problem was the coin laundry. You have to go outside to the parking lot to get to the small room with 30-year-old machines.

The room was clean and had a mini separate living room, which was very convenient as we were travelling with a baby. Closets were really spacious but bathroom was a bit tiny (very clean, though). Complimentary breakfast was simple, but enough, the only bad aspect is that it was really hard to find a place to sit in the tiny lobby where they arrange […] it. The neighbourhood is not the nicest and traffic can get pretty noisy during weekdays (I woke up early because of it). stayed here for business conference in west LA. Great location. Breakfast was just ok. Beds were comfortable. Good for a place to rest your head..affordable.

The hotel appears to be an older property and is spread over three buildings (as though adjacent apartments were converted into additional hotel rooms). It's close proximity to the 405 fwy is both a convenience and a hinderance- you can hear the traffic and the windows do not appear to be updated dual-pane / noise reduction. everything was just fine.I only had to stay one day.Everybody was great.

The hotel is somewhat old but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything in the room worked, and the breakfast was decent. Valet parking is complimentary but doesn't seem necessary.

Noisy street, there was construction going on inside the building but understandable. Weird shaking every time a truck went by.

Excellent place for intermediate length stay in Los Angeles. Conveniently located in West LA on Sepulveda Blvd. with quick car access to UCLA, Beverly Hills, and easy access to I-405 and I-10. Morning breakfast, laundry machines, and free parking were a big plus. Great value.

This is a motel very close to the 405 and 10 freeways. That's the good news and also the bad news: the area is noisy, high-traffic (right on Sepulveda Blvd., the alternate surface route to the 405), and a bit forbidding. The room itself was not too loud (at least mine wasn't); the windows must be good. And the area is actually quite safe, just a bit […] desolate. That said, it's within blocks of everything you need, extremely close by car to Westwood Village and UCLA, and of course easy access to all L.A. area attractions via the freeways. The rooms themselves are large, with little fridges and microwaves; they'd be great for a family with a rollaway bed for a kid (maybe two). The wireless internet works perfectly. The gym is very bare-bones, three exercise machines in a room that used to be a guest room. The breakfast is standard motel-continental--little muffins etc.--but there's an unusually good selection of fruit as well as bagels and some other things. The staff are nice and the valet parking (at a motel, welcome to L.A.) works perfectly. We stayed one night at the Royal Palace Motel. We chose this for the proximity to UCLA Medical center. It seemed to be the most reasonably priced in the area. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. They put us in a quiet room and gave us early check-in. It was obvious that they appreciated our business. We chose the suite because it had a sitting area. it was very nice, it had it's own small sofa sleeper and TV - like a little separate den from the regular sleeping area. The room had it's own door so it would be private for a extra person. It is an older motel but I would highly recommend it and would stay there again. We went to Billingsley restaurant (within walking distance). Nice hotel good location close to beach and hollywood, valet parking ,ok breakfast.

This is fairly convenient to USC. I was a bit nervous about my car, as this area is on the edge of a rough part of town, but nothing happened to make me feel unsafe. The bathroom was ridiculously tiny, but didn't feel dirty. We didn't have a deluxe room, but our room had a side room with a couch and tv in it, which would have been great if one of us […] wanted to watch tv late at night, or if we wanted to watch separate shows. The room was clean, staff is extremely nice and helpful, good location (short drive to most touristy places) and very good price compared to others. One suggestion, request to park your own car, the complementary valets are nice people, but not all of them are the greatest drivers.

could hear the noise from next door and people walking on the floor from upstairs/ceiling. didn't sleep well because of the noise.

The other reviews were accurate. The suite itself was nice for our family with 3 teens - our son had his own room with sofa bed. The bathroom was nice but small and I'm afraid large people might not be able to maneuver in there. It had a shower without tub. There was noise from outside and from the room upstairs, but we were tired and able to sleep. […] Breakfast was cold cereal etc - not as varied as other Best Westerns with waffle makers or cooked breakfast where we have stayed. Overall I was extremely satisfied with my stay. I was near everything I needed.

Free valet parking-24/7! It was amazing and so convenient. The hotel is located on Sepulveda Blvd. so parking is scarce. The hotel parks for you at no charge! Went for a 25th wedding anniversary and location was great for us. Not much dining around but restaurants including a great French Bakery on Olymic St., a few blocks down. Suite was great with […] two queen beds, one huge and one small closet, lots of drawers, and a nice sitting area with its own door, and a patio. One big negative was the tiny, tiny bathroom. Hotel was very convenient to west L.A. area and to freeways/streets leading to other sections. City neighborhood surrounding hotel did not feel unsafe. Room was clean and spacious. Valet parking was required but is complimentary with stay - parking attendants were very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was adequate but seating was limited in lobby […] area. Only real negative for us was the noise level among rooms in our section - some guests felt the need to have loud conversations late at night, and those sounds carried into our room (unable to determine from which room[s]). Small bath room. Room was overall very nice. Contintial breakfast left alot to be desired. Small rolls and bagels. Not much else. Would stay again.

Lot of space, rooms can easily sleep 4 people. Surprisingly no bath tub, but valet parking, Internet and fairly good location. Only minus comes from poor sound proofing

I was happy to find a hotel close to the UCLA extension campus for so cheap. The beds were SOOO comfortable we had a hard time leaving without taking the pillows. I accidentally left my charger and they are in the process of mailing it to me. Overall a great experience.

This Best Western is good if your looking for something in the west LA area. We had a suite room while working about a mile away and it work out well for two guys working. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and there was a small sitting area to eat your takout or talk on the phone, could be for a third person. I stay in hotels in Southern California almost weekly (including Hilton and Marriott) and this is the best! I love the size of the rooms and attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and anxious to help.

Stayed here for 2 nights to visit my niece at UCLA. Clean comfortable rooms with separate sitting room with tv and sofa bed, decent choice continental breakfast. All valet parking which was a bit un-necessary. Convenient for UCLA, Santa Monica, Bel Air, Hollywood Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Strip.

Service was excellent (front desk was very accommodating), the complaint of parking spots has been remedied by having a complimentary valet. Continental breakfast was more than expected :)
