Pros: English speaking friendly and helpful staff. Location is within convienient walking distance of train, metro and bus to all major attractions. Cons: Internet is not free of charge and beds are are a bit firm, but believe all Italian beds are that way. Overall: Solid hotel and would stay there again.

Hotel Genova was a great place to stay, especially that it was close to trains, buses, and even walking distance to major attractions. Good restaurants are also very close if you don't feel like walking too far. I truly enjoyed my stay here, the only complaint however is that there is no internet service in the room (you have to be in lobby for connection […] and even then, the connection wasn't too great). Hotel staff were great, breakfast was fine (though i'm not too particular on what i get for bkfst just give me a good cup of coffee, which they had:) We walked and took mass transit everywhere we went and was perfect (staff really, really helpful). Rooms were clean and not noisy at all. Being near Termini was fine for me too. For the price this was perfect; if I had more money to spend then i would probably choose to be closer to piazza navona. The Genova was a decent hotel, but it should not be listed as a 4 star. The room was fine except for the shower/bath, that had permanant discoloration or mold. The room was very plain with no frills, but was spacious. We had the "do not disturb" on the door, but someone still came into the room. On arriving at Hotel Genova we where met by friendly staff who where more than happy to help us with our luggage and who also provided useful information for our stay in Rome. Parking is expensive in Rome but the receptionist helped us find a parking right outside the building which cost us nothing for the whole 5 days of our stay. Even though the hotel was near the Termini, and it had a great location, the room was steaming hot. I could hardly breath in that room. The employees at the hotel were okay, but did not make an effort to help with the warm, steaming room.

This is a generally nice hotel,perfeact location for sightseeing 1min walk from termini train station. Staff werent great as most hadnt the courtsey to say hello. Overall i would recommend

This a very central hotel close to the main train station. The room was small but perfectly formed. There was everything you could need for a room that was just being used to sleep and shower in after a day seeing Rome. Great location--a short walk to the train station. Beautiful rooms--elegant design and furnishings. Great breakfast buffet. A little more expensive than our other hotels but it was a gorgeous place.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The room was a good size bearing in mind being a city centre but the shower was very small with just enough room to turn around in. The location was great being close to Termini and so being able to roam the city to the west and the south. We stayed in this hotel for three nights with two children. The room was clean but the beds were hard. Our first night the air conditioner in our room didn't work (neither did the TV -but we didn't care much about that). We needed to open the window to get some cool air in the room as it was too hot to sleep well. The street below is very busy, and […] while this is not a problem when the window was closed, it was when open, very loud. We informed the staff working the morning desk of the problem, but when we returned to our room, nothing had been done. Claudio, the concierge working the evening desk was helpful getting us another room (hassle). It was clear they knew about this problem and went ahead and placed us in that room and waited for us to complain. Advice - make sure everything in the room works before you get settled. I booked this room using rewards points and was able to get the room for about half price, I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price for this room. Claudio, the evening concierge spoke English and was helpful in making restaurant reservations and arranging for a taxi ride to the airport. Be prepared to pay an extra 3 euros per night per person over 10 years old as they levy a city tax that is not included in your prepaid reservation from Hotels.com. Przeczytaj więcej

Its located very close to Termini Station at Rome so you can access both metros, buses, trains, trams easily. The room was comfortable, we had a separate bed for my daughter which was a proper bed and not a foldable one. The breakfast was average in terms of options but generally room service and restuarant fares were reasonably priced. Plus, it really was centrally located - near great restaurants, the Central train station, and walking distance to many sites throughout Rome. AC was turned off. The first room they gave us was looking to the street. Very noisy. We asked to be change and the second day they move us to another room in the back. This was ok. No AC on. This hotel is in walking distance to everything worth seeing in Rome as well as the main train station! The location is excellent--VERY short walk to the train, subway and bus line!! We were able to get everywhere we wanted very easily including walking distance to the Colloseum. There are lots of surrounding restaurants also. The staff was very nice by recommending restaurants and explaining how to get places and showing us on the map. The hotel is modern […] and clean but the rooms are very small--which we know is the norm in Europe. But it was extremely small for a family of 4 where we had a king and 2 twins all in one room. Beds are really firm and not very comfortable. The bathroom was a decent size. NO free internet so that was a big negative for us since t.v. was not in English. It was a great hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The only downside i can come up with was that the beds weren't very comfortable, to me at least. I'm used to a waterbed so take that into consideration. Very close to the colliseum. Let the conseirge help you out with tours and stuff. Friendly staff. Very clean and professional room. Triple room was typical for Europe - 3 beds, each smaller than a twin. Not sure if they have rooms with larger beds. 2 short blocks from train station but in a nice area (2 blocks away was a "seedy" area but it did not affect our location). It was great being close to the train station for easy metro […] access to all areas of Rome with a Roma pass. Excellent location. A bit expensive, considering the size and comfort of the room.

The location is just a block away from the train station which is also home to a metro station and made sightseeing a lot easier. Hotel staff were extrememly helpful, offered the map of the city and information regarding tours upon check in. They also arranged a cab for the airport when we left which was at 4:45am. They advised breakfast was not available […] at that time so they made us a box breakfast to take with us when we checked out. Clean hotel, rooms was a bit small and shower was very small. I was on the 4th floor so it was farily quite at night but could hear a little bit of the noise from the metro which sounded like it ran under the hotel. We enjoyed the little restaurants, gellato stoes, great designer handbag and luggage store right across the street. Close to the Termi station (1 block) 1 block to hop on hop off bus which we highly recommend!! Just a wonderful hotel, wonderful location, and an absolutely wonderful 4 days in Rome.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. This room was bigger than we expected. There was an actual closet. The hotel we stayed at in Florence did not have a closet and was much smaller, especially the bathroom. The bathroom in Hotel Genova was much bigger than expected with a towel warmer...which was nice since we went to Rome in February. I would recommend […] this hotel to friends and family. The hotel is a stone throw away from Termini station and is a good location to access all transport links to the city. Hotel is in good decorative order and communal areas are well presented modern and clean. Rooms are in very good decorative order, comfortable with a good sized bathroom and kept very clean. Rooms lack some basics like iron and ironing […] board (which is not provided by the hotel as they have an ironing service, very expensive!) and also do not have tea/coffee making facilities. Room service provide tea/coffee but is a little pricey. The breakfast in the morning is typical of a European buffet and is good value for money. Full English breakfast is also available at a an additional cost. To be honest the buffet is good enough and keeps you full until lunch. We enjoyed our stay and would go back to this hotel. This hotel is in a good location only a 10min walk to the colosseum and 1 min walk to the metro and train (which can take you to the vatican, spanish steps etc). Breakfast is OK and the staff are helpful. Lots of resturants within a 5-10min walk from the hotel.

Upon arrival at the train station in Rome, Termini, it was a short walk to the hotel. Located on a busy street but not overwhelming to not want to stay again. Lots of restaurants near by and easy walking to the main sight. Having the Stazione Termini near by was great after a long day of sight seeing and walking, I would just find the nearest metro […] station and head to Termini, very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilties updated and very clean. The price for using the internet was a bit pricey, 5 Eur for 1 hour, but the set up was great and the printer came in handy. Rooms were clean and bathrooms very elegant all covered in marble. Stayed in 2 different rooms, one had a huge bathroom and the other smaller but very chic. One room was facing the inner courtyard , nice and quiet, the other facing Via Cavour, but also quiet thanks to the double plated windows. Overall a great hotel and would stay again. We only stayed at this hotel for one night, after coming back from Venice before our flight out of Rome the next day. The staff was very helpful and professional, and the room was fantastic! It would be considered big for European standards, about normal size for America. Overall a good experience!

Bra läge vid centralstationen. Frukost OK, rummen OK, sängarna lite hårda. Dyrt med WiFi på hotellet. 10 eller 15 euro. Hotellet väljs väl främst för närheten till centralstationen och kommunikationerna därifrån, tunnelbana, en mängd busslinjer och tåget till flygplatsen.

Mycket bra läge om man kommer till Termini med transfer vilket man antagligen oftast gör. Frukosten var guld värd då vi klarade oss ett tag fram på dagen på den. Trevlig personal. Rent och fräscht. Sängarna hade vi läst skulle vara hårda och det var dom men det passade de flesta i familjen. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell. Vi var 7 pers fördelade […] på två rum med gott om utrymme. Positivt: Hotellet ligger nära centralstationen, har fina lokaler och vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummet (superior dubbelrum) var fint, rent och propert. Frukosten var rätt ok med rostat bröd, och flera olika sorters flingor, croissanter och kaffe. Negativt: Dubbelsängen var hård och hade en skarv i mitten. Duschenhandtaget satt lite löst så vi var […] tvungna att hålla i det. Utegården använder man inte då den omges av fula höga väggar. Stor gata utanför som ger upphov till ljud dygnet runt. Wifi kostar extra. Summering: Det är ordning och reda på hotellet och dess personal, men passar bättre för affärsresanden än romantiska paret. Nästa gång tar vi något med lite mer själ. テルミニ駅まで近く、必見スポットにも近い。私たちは、スペイン広場やコロッセオどころか、バチカンまでも歩きました。 設備も整っていたし、バルコニーには、レモンの木があり、日差しが気持ちよかった。 とっても満足しました。 フロントには英語があまり得意ではない方もいましたが、親切でした。 チェックアウト時にはcity taxを請求されました。タクシー料金も平日の定額より、土日や夜間は少し高くなりました。

Nær sentral stasjon, pen, store rom. Jeg hadde prøvd 4 hoteller før den i Rome og var alltid misfornøyd. Dette hotellet var jeg fornøyd med.

テルミネ駅に近く、どこに行くのも便利でした。その割に騒がしくはなく、値段もリーズナブルでした。フロントも英語が通じ、親切でした。

Hotel super bien place, pour visiter rome, mais le seul probleme c est le bruit, si la chambre donne sur l avenue, c est terriblement bryuant !! nourriture impeccable sucre salé,chambre propre et confortable.
