Trochę daleko od centrum miasteczka, ale dobra restauracja (Barking Frog) w odległości spaceru. Cena więcej, niż przyzwoita. W czasie podróży po USA spałem w kilkunastu budżetowych motelach i ten był najlepszy.

"Pretty disappointing"
My husband and I were so excited to get to the lush mountain paradise pictured in the promotional photos. The first thing we encountered was a solicitation at check-in. Got our keys from reception and were directed to a 'welcome desk' where two sullen ladies gave us a speil about getting a free stay in the future if we spent the afternoon in a sales […] presentation about their resort group. T-a-c-k-y. Got to our room and it was cold and cavernous. With the way the 'suite' is set up, the only window in the room is in the corner of the kitchen. There is no view or natural light in the actual living space, which is an eyesore in and of itself. Dark and gloomy. The bedroom was no better than a motel, with old furnishings, and one window on the outdoor walkway that had to be curtained. The grounds were torn up for renovations to the pool and hot tub, so we ended up using none of the services, but were charged a daily 'resort fee' regardless. We would have been much happier spending less on a motel room with a WINDOW. Or spending the same on a resort with actual resort amenities. This is a very lovely spa. The grounds are immaculate. As anticipated there was some renovation occuring, the big pool was closed. However upon check in we were told that due to our stay being short, 3 days, there would be no maid service. I have never heard of such a thing. Also, they were fairly intent on talking to us about Time Shares, which I have […] absolutely no interest in whatsoever. This was easily avoided. Lastly there is no wireless in the rooms. For internet access one had to go to the lobby. THere are multiple options for very good food and the Brewery just outside the parking lot was awesome. Lastly, the location is fantastic. Our stay was very nice and we were comfortable. The staff was very responsive to our needs. I didnt have a working coffee pot one morning, they came and fixed the breaker. We needed trash removed, they came and took care of that immediately. We needed more coffee, that was handled right away as well. The only thing i did not like was the lack of internet […] access to my room. That is something you all need to make happen. One other thing: due to the wedding of my daughter, i was unaware that we would be on the second floor - we carted so much stuff up there - it was exhausting - should have asked us if we wanted a ground floor. Perhaps because we booked through the Internet we didn't get a nice room. We had to walk up old unstable circular metal stairs to a small room. The room had no space to prepare breakfast and no toaster. There were too many electrical appliances on one outlet to be safe. The hot water ran out in the middle of a shower. When we checked in, we had no idea there was going to be a $250.00 deposit on our card. The front desk clerk made us aware of this and we were quite surprised. The clerk spoke with her manager and had the deposit brought down to $100.00. I also was unaware of a $17.00 extra fee you had to pay each day. The room they gave us was one of their efficiancy […] rooms. The room was much smaller than I expected. If I had known how small the room was for the price we paid, I would not have chosen this hotel. Another thing that really bothered me was the television was on the wall to the right of our bed. Every hotel I have ever stayed at has the television in front of the bed. On a positive note the staff was very friendly. In summary the hotel was just okay. I picked Los Abrigados because it had the best deal advertised for a quality resort in Sedona. However when we arrived, we were informed that there was a mandatory $15/day activities fee which included video rentals. Adding that fee to the total brings the cost of the stay considerably higher, had I been aware of that I may have chosen a different resort. […] Hoping to take advantage of the movie rental I then discovered my unit doesn't come equipped with a DVD player, but they could call maintenance to install one. The unit we had was called a studio, however, what we had was a nice hotel room with a dorm size refrigerator, a microwave sitting on it and a coffee maker sitting on top of that. Not a good look. Not the end of the world either so I thought I would make some coffee only the cord wasn't long enough to reach the outlet. The only thing I could do is set it up on the floor! That is ridiculous.In summary, Los Abrigados is a beautiful resort conveniently located but the pricing was not straightforward and the accommodations were substandard. This was my first time staying at a Diamonds Resort location so I was excited but also not sure what to expect - to be honest, I was disappointed. We had a studio which I knew would be small but it was even smaller than I thought and my boyfriend and I didn't feel the space was used well. For example, the large TV was mounted on the side of the room, […] so to watch it we had to lay in the bed sideways which was not the most comfortable. There was a large closet to unpack in but there weren't many hangers and they felt cheap and were difficult to handle (the kind where the hook stays attached to the bar and you take part of it off to put your clothes on it and then put it back on the hook - so you can't take the hangers). We also found the toilet paper to be incredibly thin, and everything just seemed a little old. Again, not something we expected when visiting something called a Diamond resort. The major downer was finding a thong in the closet - not really something we like our hotels to provide. The staff was very friendly, but we were caught off guard when directed to the concierge and we were offered a gift card in exchange for a 'tour' (code for time-share pitch). It was a little bit aggressive for me and a bit of turn-off at the beginning of our stay. I was very surprised to find that our room was actually a small apartment! We had a one bedroom unit for an overnight stay to see the Red Rock Festival of Lights. The unit had a 2-burner stove, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, good sized refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans. We were on the second floor and had a balcony with a lovely […] view. Couldn't have asked for more! Front desk service was great (although it did take 2 phone calls to Housekeeping to get a hair dryer delivered in the morning).
