Linking five 17th and 18th-century buildings, The Westin Europa and Regina is an opulent architectural landmark set on the Grand Canal in Venice's designer shopping district, 250 metres from St Mark's Square. The nearest airport is Venice Marco Polo, 13 kilometres from the Piazzale Roma, Venice's only entry point by car.
Hotel Features.
Grey, white, and red marble run throughout the hotel, from the beamed-ceiling reception area to a large salon with moulded-stucco ceiling, giant Murano-glass chandelier, gilded chairs, and damask couches. In warm weather an interior garden courtyard serves as a quiet sanctuary. High-speed Internet access (surcharge) is available via the computer in the lobby, while the complimentary fitness centre contains cardio machines, a weight machine, and free weights.
The Europa and Regina has two terraces on the waterfront which offer panoramic views of the Grand Canal, St Mark's Basin to which the canal connects, and Santa Maria della Salute church on the canal's opposite side. One terrace fronts the hotel's fine-dining restaurant; the other fronts the hotel bar.
From mid-morning to late night during summer, The Westin Europa and Regina provides access to golf, tennis, water sports and a private beach on Venice Lido, a slender, 11.5 kilometre-long island which lies a 15 minute ride east of historic Venice's centre.

The Westin Europa and Regina offers 185 air-conditioned guestrooms in five linked buildings of five to six storeys each. All feature Venetian-influenced decor with amenities including safes, minibars, satellite TV, and high-speed Internet connections (surcharge). Marble bathrooms include dual showerheads, hair dryers, toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes.

Hotel ma znakomitą lokalizację, choć cena, jak za ten standard, jest nieco wygórowana. Bardzo czysto, dość cicho, właściciel bardzo miły i uczynny. Śniadania bez szaleństw, ale smaczne i sycące.

Jak na obiekt tej klasy było OK. Jedynie drobne problemy z ciepłą wodą. Jeśli ktoś nie szuka gwiazdek to z czystym sumieniem mogę polecić. 10 min do autobusu w kierunku Wenecji, poxiej 15 minut jazdy. zresztą z campingu tez coś jeździ.

Hotel Canal jest położony bardzo blisko dworca kolejowego Venezia St. Lucia. To duża zaleta. Nie trzeba chodzić z walizkami po labiryncie uliczek Wenecji. 5 minut i w hotelu. Śniadania są niezłe, ale skromny wybór. Codziennie budził nas zapach wypiekanego ciasta. Pokój był całkiem duży. Z hotelu na Plac Św. Marka idzie się około 30 minut. Ogólnie niezły hotel, choć wskazany byłby remont. Dobry stosunek ceny do wartości hotelu.

La Chic..chetteria Bacaro - An innovative Venetian bacaro within Restaurant La Cusina offering informal bacaro-style dining. Serving both traditional and reinvented side dishes paired with selected wine. Open for lunch and dinner daily.
In summer, guests have privileged access to activities including golf, tennis, and water sports on Venice Lido, as well as to the private beaches of Venice Lido.
The Lido is the city's playground, especially in summer when beaches and water sports draw visitors and Venetians alike. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, take horseback rides, and play golf, tennis, and volleyball. Deep-sea fishing is available in the Adriatic Sea.

San Marco (St Mark’s) is quintessential visitors’ Venice. The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doge’s Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.

This hotel offered a room with a "grand canal view". The room was small and the view out of the small window was ok if you opened it and hung out of it. This hotel was very expensive for what was provided in comparison to the other 4-5 star hotels we stayed at on our European journey this year. I would not recommend this hotel. "Europa & Regina, Venice - Awesome Hotel & Location"
Spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. Staff was helpful, food was great, although pricy. Location is convenient to walk to all the great VEnice sights and is right on the Grand Canal. Lovely spot to have breakfast and watch the canal happenings. Had a 17 year old daughter with us and we had a suite room with a place for her bed. Worked out well for […] us. Also have a relationship with the Excelsior Hotel on LIdo island and allowed us to take a free boat there and explore LIdo Island. My daughter really enjoyed the beach there. Przeczytaj więcej

So I stayed in one of their "newly renovated rooms" with a terrace and it was over priced for what I paid for as well as the staff is not a 5 star quality of service, very disappointed, stay at the Baeur hotel next door, seems much better
"Great hotel, terrible restaurant"
The hotel was great, but the dining experience was horrendous. Overpriced, food quality terrible, selection terrible. One would think that at a 5 star hotel like this the restaurant would be at least decent, but ABSOLUTELY DO NOT EAT THERE!!!
"Not a good experience...."
The issue we had was the lack of assistance with the plumbing disaster in our room. Nobody cared...and when they sent someone to fix the broken pipes in our "five star" bathroom, all of our cosmetics were destroyed with the goodness-knows-what gunk that came out. The problem was not fixed, we were not offered another room or given any kind of compensation. […] We were not treated with the respect of a five star guest. "The Westin Europa & Regina rules!"
We have stayed for one night in this outstanding Hotel. We booked the Grand Canal View Room four months prior to our stay. First we were proposed not very nice room on the first floor of Regina (it has also ground floor). So the view was obstructed and the room was not good enough to stay at and looked crummy. That is why we had to request the Reception […] for another repaired and renovated room, also explaining that the booked Room was the present from my son to my 55th birthday anniversary. Only after that the Hotel satisfied our request and provided us with the beautiful room on the fifth floor with the Grand Canal View. This Room was not large at all but had the rather spacious open balcony (loggia) with two deck-chairs and a table. So we could admire the Ships coming in and out Venice through the Grand Canal. The Hotel has very nice location only 4 minutes away from San Marco Squire. It is a very expensive and high-status hotel. Nevertheless we liked it very much. Przeczytaj więcej

Très bel hôtel, bien situé. Personnel attentionné, chambre spacieuse, restaurant sur le Grand Canal très agréable pour le breakfast ou le diner. Un regret : la chaine Starwood Westin a vendu ses deux hôtels du Lido (Excelsior et Hotel des Bains) où il était bien sympathique de passer quelques heures à la plage ou à la piscine.
