The hotel has the Old world charm of Paris. Has Very cosy and romantic atmosphere as soon as you stepped into the door. Edgar was very polite and helpful and happy to help at all time. Staff was polite and helpful. Lovely family room we stayed in. This was perfect for me. Ideallly located in the 6th arrondissement. Room was small but bed and linens quite nice. Bathroom was small by American standards but modern fixtures (even towel warming rack) and fab spa shower head with strong pressure. Even for Paris, this hotel (despite its good location) offers very poor value for the money. The room even by Paris stardards was hardly larger than a broom closet and the bathroom was also tiny. If we had not sent all four of our suitcases down to storage, it would have been impossible to even walk around the bed. We spent four nights at the Hotel De Buci. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a great location with many restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. Cute hotel, good location, friendly staff, clean rooms.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel, located in Paris' quaint 6th arrondissement which is made up mostly of small boutiques, interesting galleries and delicious restaurants and cafes. It is located within walking distance of many of the sights including the Louvre, Sorbonne, Notre Dame and Latin Quarter. great location! The rooms are small and rather tight for three people. The breakfast was included with our rate and was the same each day but the selection was very good and of high quality. We received a few recommendations to restaurants at hotel which were ridiculously expensive $100+ Euro pp with wine. the deux magot on Blvd was great with moderate […] prices. Lots of restaurants on side streets very good such as fernandos and mache de Henry very large servings and reasonable $ that we learned about from other tourists!! The Moulin Rouge was a highlight for us.Careful with cabs to airport ask before you get in should not be more than 50 euro and do not go with anyone without a car with an official number and meter. Lots of ripoffs on the loose at the airport. Cabs that you call to the hotel start their meter as soon as they arrive so be on time, we started a trip with 17 euro registering to start as cab was parked down the street and the meter was running as we placed the luggage in the trunk and walked over! We LOVED Hotel De Buci! It was our first trip to Paris and we instantly fell in love with the neighborhood. Hotel was in a great location. Staff approachable. Hotel room small but very clean and comfortable. I would stay at the hotel again however would not have the breakfast which we had twice on our stay. First morning the scramble egg was cold. We stayed at Hotel De Buci in late June 2011. It is a small and beautiful hotel right on a bustling street with shops, restaurants and bars. The room was small but nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We were on the second floor so there was some noise late at night with the bar activity but it was not terrible. Right in the middle of everything! This is the hot spot, right between the Latin Quarter and St. Geramine. Cafes, shops, fresh markets, wine bars. Highly reccomended.

rooms small but great location

This is an excellent hotel. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful (especially the woman in the day shift who was incredibly nice and very very helpful). The location is amazing!! The room was tiny, but otherwise wonderful. The lift broke down one evening and the only staircase is a scary circular one. But the location is amazing -- in the middle of St-Germain des Prés and all of Paris. The staff were very nice and I would stay there again.

Our room was tiny, but beautifully decorated and the bathroom was modern. It appeared newly renovated. Two built-in armoires on both sides of the bed provided nice storage for our four night stay. It is located on a terrific street that is full of galleries, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. The neighborhood felt very safe because of the abundant pedestrian […] traffic. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the younger staff. The lobby had a small but comfortable waiting area and umbrellas were available. Cars do go down the street, but there were not that many, maybe because it is such a narrow street. Our room was on the 1st floor (which in Paris puts you one flight above the street-level lobby), and was surprisingly quiet at night. Automated electric exterior shades can be raised or lowered from the button next to the bed. The location was amazing. It is an easy walk to the Lourve, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, and Luxembourg Gardens. The Odeon Metro stop connects several lines so it is very convenient for most destinations. In the evenings, you can walk to one of the multitudes of nearby cafes or restaurants, drink wine, and walk back to the hotel. The pastry shop across the street tempted me every morning and sometimes also in the afternoon with a wonderful selection of pastries (Pauls). Again, the hotel room was TINY. You could sit on the foot of the bed, place your laptop on the demi-lune table opposite the bed and work comfortably on the complimentary internet connection, but when you did that it blocked traffic around the bed. It was a very small room, but it was very beautiful with lovely upholstered walls and nice furnishings, and a flat-screened TV on the wall. I rated it a 4 in comfort only because of the size of the room. The bed was comfortable. If you are in Paris to tour the sights and want a comfortable, nice, clean room in a great location, this hotel is terrific. The staff was friendly, but not overbearing. They were always helpful. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The rooms, while very small, were very well air conditioned and nicely appointed. The bathrooms was on the large size. The only drawback was that the hotel is on one of the hippest streets around and at night the noise was energetic until quite […] late, so if you are the go-to-bed early type you should ask for a room in the back. This hotel has an excellent location near the latin quarter. The rooms are somewhat small which is typical for the area. They do have suites for $$$/s. The staff speaks english well and was helpful in moving us to a larger room. It is my second visit to this hotel, I still think for the money it is a great location, not far from subway stops. Great […] bakery and wine shop just down the street. Don't forget the museam pass so you can go into most major attractions without waiting in ticket or normal lines. This is a must for Paris! You can't beat the location. The hotel is right off one the main avenues of Paris, on Saint Germain du Pres. Notre Dame is a 5 minute walk, the Louvre is 8-10 minutes away, St. Sulpice is 5 minutes, the Luxenburg Gardens are 8 minutes away, and Musee d'Orsay is 12 minutes max. Around the hotel are a number of great cafes and shops. Cherche Midi and […] Rue de Rennes are just steps away from this hotel. If you really want to see Paris stay at this hotel. Anything you can't walk to is not a big deal (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Couer) because there are two different subway lines within 2 blocks of the hotel. The subway is cheap and the ride is 15 minutes max to any of the "far" sites. The hotel itself is quite nice. The lobby is a great place to enjoy a coffee. Don't order the hotel's breakfast. It's way too expensive and there are a number of cafes, boulangeries, and patisseriers where you can get breakfast. The beds are small so are the rooms but they are clean and comfortable. 2度目の滞在です。前回は中庭に面した部屋に、今回は通りに面した部屋に泊まりました。バスタブはありませんでしたが、シャワーも勢いよく出て快適でした。窓からの眺めもよかったです。ロケーションがとてもいいので、どこへ行くにもほとんど徒歩ででかけました。どのホテルスタッフも気持ちのいい対応で、本当にお勧めのホテルです。予算が許せばまた泊まりたい、定宿にしたいです。

憧れのパリ、サンジェルマンデプレに5日間滞在しました。このホテルは利便性と皆さんの評価が高いことで選びました。部屋は一階(2階)の内側で、窓からの景色は向かいの窓のみで楽しむことはできませんでしたが、とても静かでゆっくり休めました。部屋自体は少し狭いと思いましたが、素敵な内装で、いつも室温がちょうどよく、バスルームは清潔、広めで、全体的にとても快適に心地よく過ごせたホテルで大満足です。スタッフの方々もとてもフレンドリーで親切でした。サンジェルマンデプレのど真ん中、徒歩でルーブル、オルセー、オランジェリー美術館に行けて、地下鉄駅もすぐ近くに２つあり、観光、買い物を十分楽しめました。次回もまた是非泊まりたいです。

8/14-19まで滞在しましたが スタッフの方もとても 親切で、地下鉄の駅やノートルダム寺院・ルーブル美術館等の観光名所にも徒歩圏内で立地もよく満足いく滞在ができました。

Excellent location. Walking distance from Seine, Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Pantheon, Notre Dame. And the street itself is a site. While the rooms with a view to the street may be noisy, the rooms facing the inside do not have any kind of view (ugly courtyard) - but are very silent at night. Frábær staðsetning,allt sem þú þarft að sjá er í minna en 20 min göngufæri.(Notre Dame, Louvre o.fl) Frábært starfsfólk og mjög hjálpsamt. En staðsetningin er nr 1.

Een schattig, klein hotel, in het midden van één van de meest bruisende buurten van Parijs, de Grand Boulevards (op het snijpunt van het Quartier Latin en op loofstand van het Île de Paris). Duizend dingen te zien en te dien, gallerietjes, restaurants, clubs, bars, geen seconde verveling. De hotelkamers zijn piepklein, en het hotel is niet goedkoop, […] maar de allervriendelijkste service, de prima bedden, de keurige huishouddienst en -zoals gezegd- de buurt maken een verblijf hier een uitstekende ervaring. De badkamer is basic (geen bad), maar schoon (alhoewel de douchecabines vreemd ontworpen zijn, zodat een waterballet bijna onvermijdelijk is), en het verdient aanbeveling om de verwarming meteen na binnenkomst uit te zetten: de kamer wordt in no time bloedheet! De kamers zijn wat gehorig, maar het geringe aantal kamers betekent dat geluidsoverlast zeer beperkt blijft. Er is een gratis safe en (oplos)koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Bel albergino in positione molto bello, ma molto troppi soldi per una cameretta piccola chiamata "superior".

Hotel de Buci beantwoordt aan alle verwachtingen van een klein, romantisch, parijs' hotel. De kamers zijn niet groot, maar wel zeer geriefelijk en voelen als een soort warme deken. Het bed ligt heerlijk. Niet onbelangrijk na een dag musea, galeries, prachtige winkels enz. Het ontbijt laat niets te wensen over. Wij gaan zeker terug.
