Towneplace Suites By Marriott Chantilly Dulles - Chantilly

I have stayed in this same area before in Chantilly and, had I known, I would have always stayed here! Our room was very clean and the fridge and stove were perfect size. The room also came with a full pot set, deep well frying pan and a full serving set for 4. It even had a can opener and cooking utensils so I did not have to run out for anything but […] Pam. I also liked the fact that we were able to bring our 9 month old lab, Jesibelle. It was nice not having to kennel! Did I also mention the fact that just across the road is a big pond with benches and tables and a full circle walking path? Let me tell ya, it was good for me and great for Jes. We had a two bedroom suite -- I love that we could have our dogs stay with us but the suite smelled like SMOKE! Therefore our clothes smelled like smoke. I would not recommend this hotel, it felt very "economical" but at the very pricey rate I paid, I could have done much better at another hotel. Overpriced and obviously they don't care what you do […] in your room, I thought a 100% smoke-free hotel meant no chance of our room smelling like an ashtray. WOyls not recommend. Przeczytaj więcej

We picked this hotel because it was large enough to accomodate our 5 children. It has 2 seperate bedrooms & then a pull out sofa in LR. Each bedroom has a nice tv. We loved having the kitchen. A couple of downfalls...there is only 1 bathroom and the swimming pool was only open from 2-8. So of course we could not come back from sight seeing and swim. […] It was closed! My son and I stayed in a studio for 4 nights. We found the room very comfortable and the hotel very accommodating to our needs. I used the bed and my son used the pull out sleeper couch. My son slept like a baby and felt rested in the morning. We didn't need much. With the full kitchen we had everything we needed. Even when we had visitors to our room […] it was still very roomy. We found the hotels location incredibly convenient to a convention that we were attending at the Dulles Expo Center as well as to the mall at Tyson's Corner - that we visited because a specialty store was offering discounts to the attendees of the convention. Dulles Expo Center is only about a mile away. If we didn't have things that we needed to carry with us, It would have been a nice walk away We had a few very late nights and the area provided several nice places for a late night snacks. ihop to pizza hut. As well as a very nice cross section of international food offerings. Since we will be visiting this area in the future more and more we will most certainly use this hotel again and again. Please note - we were very self contained and really didn't use any of the hotels activities such as the pool or work out rooms. My son did participate in their Continental breakfast one day to tie him over while he was at the convention. Was simple but very nice to have it offered for those staying at the hotel. I hope that the hotel considers having their own wireless network. My son and I were able to connect with one of the sister hotels close by. Hi notebook and my pad both have built in N router. Signal was very low but for checking email and a little surfing it worked for us. They do have wired free broadband Internet. I travel with an acer pad so I only have wireless connection. Had an excellent stay. Rooms were very nice. Only problem was that the pool was only open from 1-8 p.m. It was almost 100 degrees the whole week and we would have like to have gone swimming earlier and stayed later in the evening,

Good value for the money. Love that the kitchen has an oven, not just a microwave and stove. They tidy the room every day too. Beds are very comfortable and they have plenty of pillows. The staff is very helpful. A number of eating places are really close. The only negative is that they don't have building-wide wi fi - just cable connection - but wireless […] routers are available if you really need one. Quiet. full kitchen in room. everyone was friendly. bed was comfortable.

There is no doubt... this hotel is well worth it - extremley well priced for the level of service, extras and the hotel staff are extra ordinary and they were doing above and beyond. Home away from home and thats why I made the reservation to the same hotel even though I have to drive 30 miles away for my meeting, but Its worth it. The staff went out of their to help with even the smallest matters to include getting information on local sites. The rooms are set up so you can cook and keep food in the full size refrigerator. The price of items in the office and the laundry room were very reasonable. This is a great place whether on business or vacation as we were!!

Nothing fancy, but great room for the money. very clean and safe, people at the desk were very friendly. Kitchen is a huge plus. Hotel is a stones throw from the Dulles Expo center.

Not only was the hotel staff very unfriendly so were the staff at both restaurants we went to. Our stove didn't work properly and the quality and comfort of the room was LACKING! The only plus to this place was ALL the places to eat nearby. Will not return here again.

We had stayed in a 2 bedrooms suite for 2 weeks. It is not a fancy hotel,but there's a full kitchen and a living room with dining area. We feels like home after a while. The supermarket, restaurants and shopping are in walking distance. It is quite comfortable for a long stay.

The studio room is a bit small, but great value for the money. The room is very clean. Staff are very helpful.

Generally ok for the price. A pile of dirty towels in the closet and beds that sagged were a downside. On the Dulles flight path and thin walls so you hear all the plumbing of the next door neighbours. But a two bedroom suite at this price was still good value. Walking distance to restaurants.

I heard airplanes landing and cars in the parking lot all night - during a weeknight. The windows do not protect well against sound. The rooms are clean and comfy, however the bed was made improperly with the sheet above the comforter. The "free breakfast" consisted of crappy prepackaged "muffins" that looked like they were packed with preservatives […] and sugar and some drinks. I couldn't find any local McDonalds or other quick breakfast place - although there's an iHop nearby (driving distance). On the plus side, free in-room wired internet. Przeczytaj więcej

Previous reviews have not always been positive. I found a clean room and welcoming staff. No hint of smoke in rooms as some reviews have suggsted

I was impressed by the hotel pictures on the computer, yet when I got to the roomit was very old fashion and the room smelled like if it had not been used in a while, yet the staff was great. For the price I paid I would not recommend this hotel.

All of the room smelled of cigarette smoke. I had to spray the entire room with Febreeze every time I accessed the room.

Very satified with our stay.

Our two bedroom was great to put the kids to sleep while the adults stayed up. Kitchen was super. Pool is tiny but good for a splash. Airport noise is considerable but we didn't notice it after the first plane or two! Very nice overall.
