"quick downtown access, but lacking comfort"
Overall, it was okay for the price. It was great for location for my needs, halfway between Barnhart and downtown St. Louis. Right at the intersection of 55 and 270 worked out well, and Lindbergh Blvd. has plenty of restaurants and shopping so one doesn't have to go far to get needed things while traveling and a good meal. The comfort was a bit discouraging. […] The bed was pretty hard with flat pillows. And the ice machine was down the hall a couple of doors but it sounded like it was right in the room which wasn't too much fun when someone gets ice after we went to sleep. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke a bit, but that could be bad hotel guests causing that, or a smoking room converted but not cleaned of the smell. If you are looking for saving money for other parts of your trip, this isn't too bad of a choice, just be prepared to ask for extra pillows and in my case a remote control for the TV, which the staff at the desk provided upon request. "I should have known."
It was a last minute booking and I should have read other reviews. However, the "jacuzzi" is a tub with a couple of jets.... Also there no shower so that was inconvenient. Also, there was a lot of hair in the jacuzzi as well as around it. That was a major turn off. The bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on, and I like firm beds. At check-in,I was shown three supposedly "non-smoking" rooms in order to find one that did not smell smoky. Possibly due to later construction, access to this hotel is very difficult to identify in a very high traffic area. i found a roach in my room, left it with a note, got no reply. My room was passed over for service one day when service was desired. […] Layout of room does not suit watching TV from anywhere but bed, for example, while eating. "Not Bad for the Price"
The room was clean. It needs a little updating, but not bad overall for the price. The bed is really firm. Jacuzzi tub is really a jetted tub and there is no shower in this room. "Nice staff, dirty rooms"
My wife and I stayed one night recently. The location is convenient and close to shopping and dinning. When we arrived the front desk clerk was friendly.helpful, then we arrived at the room. It was not clean at all. We found hair in the tub, and condom wrappers by the bed. And to make things worse, The heater didn't work correctly, and we were cold […] all night. "Great value, but rough on the back!"
Honestly for the money there isn't a better deal on a hotel with secure entrances that serves breakfast. It was inconvenient when I had to have my room keys reprogrammed after the first night. My main complaint is that the mattress was cheap and hard on the back. I would also advise bringing a comfortable comforter as the one provided is just a decoration. Location and freeway access were acceptable. Drainage in bathroom shower was very poor. I struggled picking a hotel room for our weekend adventure. We wanted a hotel with free breakfast, swimming pool and internet. Not only did this hotel have all of those, but the location of the hotel couldn't have been better. The breakfast was decent and the swimming pool was sweet. The only complaint I have was the bed was a little hard for my taste. […] The staff was amazing! they assisted in all our needs from a plunger (lol), bandaids and directions to nearby attractions. "Conveniently located, good deal"
The staff was very friendly and the room was decent. I would have liked a few more pillows but I'm sure I could have asked and gotten more. It was a good deal for the price, would definitely go there again.

"even our gps got us lost"
i got a really great deal on this booking so we thought we would give them a try. after our gps told us 3 times to make a legal u turn we finally found the place. and once we did it was great. this was a roadtrip with the family and the first place we stayed at did not have a pool, so the kids were looking forward to their pool and they did not disappoint. […] it was a very good place to relax afte hours on the road. our reservations were not in the computer when we got there but the front desk lady was a TOTAL professional. got all my info and id and just checked me in and got us to the room and the kids to the pool. later on my kids were dying to sample some of st louis's famous barbque and again the front lady desk came to the rescue. not only did she reccomend a place but she googled it and got us the address and phone number in case we had problems finding it. breakfast in the morning was great and refreshing and the check in and out process was smooth and seamless. will definatly go back and stop here again and tell all my friends and family. had no problelms( once i found the place). "Affordable, Good Breakfast"
We were looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay in after a day at Six Flags. The hotel was clean, updated, and the breakfast was very good. Would stay there again.
"NO NO NO NO NO"
We got to our room it was still dirrty had wrappers by chair and empty bottles. Bed HARD! TV remote kept coming unprogrammed from tv. Internet connection wasnt that good. Breakfast ok To far of a drive from downtown st. Louis Did have a few restaruants within walking distance. We left early due to the unhappiness.

Great hotel in a very desirable area of South County. Breakfast is very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a repeat stay.

The bathroom was very dirty and nasty. Somebody didn't clean it. Beds were very hard but I like a firm bed,if you don't look out. Staff was friendly and aimed to please.

The place was about what I expected. Not very nice at all, but not terrible. However, I was bitten by something on my legs about 10 times or so, probably while I was sleeping. The place might have bed bugs.
