This hotel was very nice, close to all amenities of downtown but the jewel was the overall attention of the staff, they were wonderful. Had the opportunity to try out the restaurant and it was very good with a great atmosphere. The only thing was that the beds were not great but I would stay again.

The position of the hotel in the downtown was wonderful, especially if you have your own car. Although it seems that it is a bit expensive, you will not regret if you see the view of your room in the 17th floor of the hotel. The room was perfectly clean, the staff wonderfully warm, and the travel would be dramatically pleasant if you stay in this hotel. […] The restaurant was a bit pricy, so naturally I cannot suggest the thing that I have not tried. We have been told that we should pay for internet 14$ and parking lot 25$ per night, but the staff kindly waived these prices. Just one thing, reserve the hotel through the phone service of “hotels.com”, then you can insist that you are looking for a room in the higher floors with a good view. The hotel was very clean but needs some upgrading to the lobby. There was a lot of noise from the C train every 15 minutes or so. Seem to go on all night. Also was not given the correct type of room (two queen beds )as reserved. They stated they can not guarantee. I had three adults noted on reservations but was given a room with one king bed.

My family stayed at the Hyatt Regency for one night. Our hotel room had huge windows overlooking the heart of downtown Calgary. Our room was very clean with plenty of space. Their fitness facility is the best I've seen and the hotel is very secure (you need a key to access your floor from the elevator). The best part was the room service. The Hyatt Regency was a great choice, as the staff were very helpful when making arrangements for our 3 month old son. However, parking was pricey at $25/day. Nice view of the Calgary tower from the pool on the 18th floor, and good quality gym equipment for sure.

We stayed here as just a getaway, and chose the location as it was on Stephen Walk. The hotel was surrounded by pubs, restaurants, shopping, and even an outdoor skating rink build for the 88' Olympics. The overall feel was upscale, and the staff were very helpful. There were ATM style check in/out machines if you don't want to wait in line at the desk. I […] was however not pleased to find out that I had to pay for parking, and quite a lot too. Stayed here for one night, enjoyed great service, and many restaurants in the vicinity.

The hotel was wonderful beautiful view of downtown Calgary. Only problem was the cleaning staff took half the pillows and one of the robes away after one night

Don,t get me wrong, it is a great hotel in a great location. The staff truly did a great job of service, but it lacks warmth and charm. Right across the street is a hotel that is warm, welcoming, and cosy. Either is a great choice...................it is a matter of preference!

We stayed on Christmas day and it was homey and comfortable.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, appealing design of our King Executive suite. Everything about the room was amazing-not just aesthetically, but practically. A great place to stay. Unfortunately they extra charge the internet access. Not really what I expect from such a hotel.

For a 4.5 star hotel I was very upset with the cleanliness of the room. This is why I would not recommend the hotel. The location was fantastic.

The general impression of your hotel was good except for one incident which almost jeopardized our impression. When we checked in at the hotel very late on August 9 we were first served by a very nice lady. During the process another 'oriental-looking' lady also approached the counter and took the liberty to make enquiry on how many room we had reserved. […] When we told her that we had reserved one room for four she replied ' one room ?' with that kind of look which made us very uncomfortale. May be we were a bit sensitive but we felt that she was accusing us for reserving one room only and then would 'sneak-in' more people. We then told her that when we did the booking we had indicated that four people would be using the room and this had also been clearly indicated on the reservation form. We were not that kind of people who would do things in a 'sneaky' way and would be furious if were thought so by others. Though she said nothing further we were very unhappy at that moment and thought that she would not say things like that if she looked at the reservation record. I hoped that this kind of thing would never happen again to others or if when we would use your hotel again as we had very good impression on the services of your hotel particularly those working at the lobby. Everything was amazing. specially the pool and exersise roon. Front desk and all the staff welcoming you with warm invitation. we would stay at this hotel for our next trip.

It was one of our better hotel stays. We stayed 4 nights & our daughter (4.5 yr) loved every minute of our hotel stay. Front desk even sent her milk & cookies the first evening we were there. The staff was very helpful & everyone was so nice. I would stay at this hotel again & again. I recommend it to anyone staying in Calgary. The view from the 17th […] floor is very nice as well. We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt. The staff was very helpful and the room was comfortable. We were able to enjoy all of downtown. It was a great stay and we recommend this hotel to all.

Nice, clean hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and as we have had two very good experiences we would not bother to stay anywhere else now. The staff are very friendly, helpful and willing to please. The location is spot on for the downtown area and only about 20 minutes or so from the airport. I would recommend to stay. It's great and worth money

The people working at the hotel were very kind. I had forgotten my razor and they were happy to help me. Although I would have appreciated free wifi instead of the daily charge. As a businessman it is crucial to have Internet access and would make a big difference to me. Also the parking is very expensive and has no hourly rate for a guest to use if […] they are visiting. We enjoyed our stay there immensely. I was travelling with my grandchildren, son and daughter in law. They have two children (2 and 4 years old). The staff at this hotel excelled on making sure that my grandchildren were confortable. They brought a crib for the little one and later on milk and cookies. I do not recommend valet parking. I called at 10:20pm to have my car ready for 11:05pm. When I got down, there was no valet. We went back inside and asked, the employee was texting. He apologized went to get my car, came back asked me what kind of car it was. Return to look for it and came back to inform me that they had lost my keys. The hotel assured […] me they would find my keys by check out time and they paid for my cab to my destination and didn't charge me for parking. Great location adjacent to conference centre, Glenbow museum, theatres, Stephen Ave. pedestrian mall, restaurants. For us no better location in Calgary. Service was great, room was excellent. I find most hotel rooms too warm but we were easily able to control the temperature.
