If You are looking for a cheap hotel for a few nights and You have a car or You like walking long distances, it's pretty good option for You. Staff is helpful and rooms are clean. There is a bus to the downtown so it's not so bad location

"Holiday Inn Express near Schroeder YMCA Pool"
Stayed here 2 nights recently for kids' state swim meet. Convenience (3 minute walk if light is in your favor) to Schroeder YMCA Pool can't be beat. Relaxing lobby. Good soundproofing between rooms. Fun pool area. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Breakfast fine. Would hate to have to sleep on pull out couch bed in our room myself... but no complaints […] from kids! :) One request to Hotel manager: get rid of the silk plants and flower arrangements in rooms! The hotel was nice. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint is that the bed was like sleeping on concrete.
"Poor Management"
We checked in on a Saturday night and found a loud party going on in the lobby. We were given the choice of a room just off the lobby or a smoking room upstairs. We were told the party would be ended at 8:00 so we chose the room by the lobby. We had to call at 9:45 pm because the party was still going on. Then we learned the hotel put a pending charge […] on our credit card for incidental expenses (we had none) that they would not release for five business days. "Enjoyable stay"
I took my family for a day away where they would be a pool for the children and a place to relax with my wife while we were watching the kids. The hotel was great except for the obnoxious Bears fans. That's alright, that Sunday, the Bears were crushed by the mighty Packers. Overall, it was a great stay.
"STRAIGHT SHOT FROM CEDARBURG"
This was a nice easy ride from the Cedarburg festival and gave us an inviting place to stay straight down Washington to the Motel. It was clean and priced right and had a good breakfast. I recommend dinner at Taylor and Dunns Public House up the same road.

"Very nice hotel"
We stayed for one night at this hotel because of its convienent location but we were very pleased with its overall quality. Very clean and modern room, the beds were comfortable pillow top mattresses, and a better than average breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will stay again.
"Nice, clean stay with cold pool"
Nice and clean place with a good breakfast. The pool was colder than normal so the morning swim was cut short.

VERY clean, wonderful staff, breakfast very good, but no hot tub in the pool area and very noisy buzzing sound from the lights in the pool area. Cannot hold a conversation it's so loud.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, located away from busy roads so was very quiet as well. It was a mile or so off the interstate, but still easy to access.

Room was pleasant enough. The geographic area is quiet, though the rooms are not quite as soundproof as I might have liked. Free internet appreciated, plus a computer on main level one can use for internet, to type a letter or for airport check-in and print off seats. Adequate parking. Walkable to a Culver's. Also a Wendy's relatively nearby. Not […] a lot of other restaurants very close. Staff very helpful in correcting my room's internet service, appearing within minutes, even after midnight. Nice hotel. Great breakfast buffet. McDonald's nearby. Only downside is noisy closing of doors at night or early morning.

"Holiday Inn Express, Brown Deer, WI - All you need"
Travelled with two children (ages 7 & 5) and were looking for a half-way point between Milwaukee and our final destination. The hotel was everything and more: clean, super-friendly and helpful staff, great complimentary breakfast, nice pool. "Quiet but convenient location"
Due to our son's company transferring him to Milwaukee, we were looking for a nice, affordable hotel close to his apartment for a Thanksgving visit. This was an excellent choice for our needs. The hotel is in a quiet area with little or no traffic noise even though it is located just off a state highway and across from a small shopping center with […] some national chain stores. There is a Culver's adjacent to the hotel and other fast food in the shopping area as well as an Applebee's. The hotel staff was very nice and accomodating, the room was clean as well as the entire hotel. The breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast. However, they need to determine why the scrambled eggs were cold all four mornings we were there. I don't have great expectations for eggs on these breakfasts, but I would say they fell short of any expectations I may have had. While we were told there were complimentary cocktails each evening, I never saw any indication they were being served. That wasn't an issue. "The best stay in my recent business trip"
This was one of three hotels that I stayed at over the course of one week on business travel. I booked all three hotels on hotels.com. Without a doubt, this was my most enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly, the facility was beautiful and the location was perfect. It's hotels like this that make me grateful for hotels.com and other reviewers.

"Great Hotel, Great Staff"
I will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Brown Deer again. The room was clean, the price was great and the staff, particularly Patrick at the front desk, was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Thanks for the great stay!
