Yet again, Homewood Suites has impressed me on my trip. When I called in to see if my special requests from hotels.com went through, they informed me it was cut off and they had no idea what it was. Within a few minutes, they fixed that for me, it was just asking for my friend to be able to check in prior to me. The breakfast was better than most hotels. Spinach and cheese was added to the scramble eggs and tasted very good. Felt safe and the friendly staff took genuine care of us. Just wish the Jacuzzi was open later or not have restrictive hours like some hotels. Free breakfast, free dinners for mon-thurs with wine/beer, great room service, awesome services! There was nothing that i disliked about this location! They have a service where they would do your grocery shopping if you had the list to the front desk by 9am or something, with no additional charges. I loved the location of this hotel, it's near New Park mall directly across from Macy's. The room smelled very clean the bathroom was a perfect size didn't seem small at all! They did away with the $500 incidental fee!! So that's no more!! And the breakfast was awesome!!! The people at the front desk were so pleasant!! We had 7 rooms for 14 of us and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We travelled from Oregon, Virginia, and Arizona and all met their for a football game. It was a perfect weekend - we can't wait to do it again. The breakfasts were wonderful!!!!

Great hotel.

We stayed overnight with two teenage girls, so having separate rooms (and bathrroms) allowed them to stay up and "girl talk", while the parents were able to watch tv and go to sleep without ever hearing the girls giggling til three am! We were able to get up early and move about the living area and not disturbing the girls while they slept in the next […] morning. They served a nice hot breakfast with plenty to chose from. I really enjoyed the room I stayed in. I walked in and the room was very comfortable. It was clean and it was very nice. I felt right at home. The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and I had a nice conversation with him. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. It was a great price for a great hotel.

Plenty of strip mall 'mom and pop' restaurants, but if you are not feeling adventurous and want a familiar dinner spot you will be looking for quite a while. BJ's is the only one I saw, but the wait was over 1 1/2 hr. Stay away from the large Mexican place on the corner. There is a reason that the dining area is kept very dark. Came in for the weekend, loved everything about the hotel. The breakfast was great and plentiful. The room was clean and smelled good. The only thing I would change is hotel staff not informing any guests that I had how to get to the room, although the guest knew my name and room number. Other than that, the place wad awesome!

This hotel is vastly underrated. It excels in cleanliness, service, and excellent breakfasts, just to name a few of its positive aspects. I look forward to staying there again in the near future!

home away from home but better,great staff.

This is a great place to stay. My family only stayed one night, but we could have stayed a week. The hotel.com price was very good for the room. The room was clean and in a quiet neighborhood away from the freeway. The breakfast buffet was superior to other hotels we stayed at this past weekend. I would defiantly stay there again. We can't say enough great things about this hotel! Everything...from the staff to the cleanliness to the food was FANTASTIC! We would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be staying here again! Also loved the location with everything we needed close by.

I had to travel to CA for business, and was able to bring my family (8 month old + husband) with me. We selected the Homewood Suites because we needed a place to stay that had a door separating the sleeping area from the rest of the suite so mommy & daddy didn't have to sit in the dark starting at 7 when baby goes to sleep. Everything within the room […] was just fine. Quarters were a little tight, but it's a temporary roof over our heads, so overall, no complaints about the room. The only complaint we had was with the front desk staff. They seemed really annoyed with any questions and requests we had. For example, my husband received a big sigh & rolled eyes when he asked for a second room key. You heard right, they only gave us one key, then seemed hassled by our request for a second one. This hotel was perfect for us. It was very comfortable, very clean, offered a delicious breakfast each morning and had an outstanding staff. I have no problem giving this hotel my highest recommendation, and will stay there again when we are back to visit.

We had construction going around our home and it was more convenient to stay at a hotel for the night. It was a great experience. The room was clean, bright and airy. The amenities were fabulous - pool, complimentary breakfast and dinner, gym. And it was very convenient to shopping, freeway access, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed midweek (Thursday evening). The room was not as promised when I made the reservation. I was told that all the rooms had a kitchen. However, the room I received was a standard room w/Queen bed. Otherwise the room was satisfactory. This was a great place to stay. The breakfast and dinners were wonderful. It was great not having to always go look for a place to eat. The served restaurant quality food.

This hotel was a surprise. I found the front desk to be very friendly and courteous. It was clean and up to date. The breakfast area was a large and even in the busiest time we never had to wait for a table. The breakfast itself was plentiful. Comfortable and quiet room. Couch and kitchen are fantastic

Very comfortable hotel. Great breakfasts and during the weekdays M-Th, good dinners, all complimentary. Wifi is complimentary. Beds are very comfortable. Very nice, good quality rooms. We stayed in the Studio which had a full kitchen, including dishwasher, and a small living room area with a L shaped couch. Very nice. Helpful and efficient staff.

Our stay for 3 nights was very comfortable. Hotel Employees, at reception desk, service dept. and breakfast hosts, all are courteous and co-operative. Room was spacious and comfortable. Sofa bed was additional nice thing. As a whole, it was a very good & pleasing experience. Thumbs UP.

I booked in this hotel for my nephew who came to visit from LA. He was very pleased with his stay and definitely would get booking from this hotel the next time he visits.

Upon arrival, I asked for an accessible room for my wife. The folks at the desk were very helpful in fulfilling our needs. They even put our other party on the same floor as ours. Great Breakfast!

I am pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness and I rate this hotel a 4. My only complaints in that area were that I am pretty certain that all the pillowcases on the bed were not fresh. (One smelled) This is one problem I can imagine when so many pillows are put on one bed. Also, my child slept on a roll a way bed that had springs that were very easily […] felt when lying on the bed (not comfortable), and there was a very large black/orange stain on the bottom of the roll away. Bathroom fixtures seemed clean. The breakfast was great. The room furniture as well as the other sheets on the bed seemed freshly cleaned. The kitchen area was very well stocked and very clean. I read lots of reviews before choosing a 9-day stay here. I found the reviews very accurate. This is a really nice place to stay, especially for an extended period of time. It was clean comfortable, very secure and yes, the breakfast is indeed a great amenity. The only negative comment regards the room layout. I had a suite with a separate bedroom area. […] Unfortunately the bedroom area included the bathroom area so unless you are by yourself or have a partner who doesn't mind being woken up by: a) the bathroom light, b) the sound of the shower or toilet or c) the sounds humans make when using a bathroom then I would suggest you asking for a room with a bit more bathroom privacy. Also, this is a place to stay for people who value diversity. During our 9-day stay, my girlfriend and I we were pretty much the only Caucasians. (Expect to find Middle Easterners, Indians, and Asians staying here. It is quite interesting.) It wasn't a big deal to us since we consider ourselves very diverse and open to all cultures.
