Doris, at the front desk, was very sweet. To get to my room, i had to go through a door labeled D that was already sligtly left ajar. Behind this door was a supply room. I continued through the supply room and exited to the other side of the building where additional rooms were located, including my room. Cleaner than a motel 6 for sure.

Although the staff were very nice and helpful, the condition of this hotel is in disrepair. I changed rooms hoping it was beginners bad-luck but it wasn't. The rooms were dirty: burn holes on the bedspreads, rusty and stapled together box springs, stains on the walls and carpets, unflushed toilet, even a long black hair on the sheets! The appliances […] were beat up and every thing looked old. The first room smelled of smoke (non-smoking) and the second room smelled like a strong odorizer to cover up another smell. Since it is an extended stay hotel, you feel like you are staying on the "turf" of the residents. The person in the room next to me left their TV on all night, keeping me up. When I arrived, they had the wrong room type reserved for me so they had to find me another room. The beds were uncomfortable, but the room was clean. The staff was friendly, but I heard a lot of complaints from other guests when I was in the lobby. The rooms are only cleaned once a week unless you choose to pay extra. DO NOT STAY HERE, EVEN IF YOU THINK YOURE SAVING MONEY, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! The Hotel room was filthy upon check-in from the linens to the sinks, tub, carpet, and dishes. Front desk was great but housekeeping needs to step it up.

I checked in at 3 AM. I called ahead to schedule a late check-in and the manager was very accomodating. She let me know they had run out of queen size rooms and had upgraded me to a king at no extra cost. So far so good. When I checked into my room, road weary from a 6 hour drive, I was surprised at what I saw. I found trash cans up on the counter without […] trash bags, bedding pulled off the bed and bunched up on the couch, a dirty towel crumpled in the closet, 3-4 long black hairs pressed against the shower wall and no clean sheets on my bed. I contacted the night employee, who couldn't leave her station to make my room but was kind enough to meet me with fresh sheets. Needless to say, I made my own bed that night and I slept in it. We would not stay here again. Ever. Rude service, Expensive, stained beds, and I made my family Shower at a family members house because the Shower was ridiculous as far as a "shower head" and Water pressure. Avoid it-

It was alright... Not terrible, but not extraordinary either. ehh.

Spacious room w/ comfortable beds. But non-smoking rooms are not what they should be - terrible smell of old sheets that's probably been rolled in tobacco. No cups to drink hot or cold beverages from, no shampoo, no tissues. No thanks. A plus: starbucks right on the next corner!

I couldnt have asked for more for my money. The staff was helpful and nice. The room was clean and comfy too!

This hotel was clean and had many available items for an extended stay(stove,refrigerator,etc.). Located in a easy access to freeway,but no noise. I will use if returning to Mesa.

It was a party next door, screaming, yelling, for hours, until other guest came and confront the people (teens) in the room. they they told him to go back to his room and they said they have a knife. but he said he was to call the police, and after that calm.

So not worth the price....nasty beds, room, service...everything!!!!!! Don't book ur room bc u will be disappointed!!!

nice place for the price

We only stayed one night and had to leave early, so we didn't experience much, but I liked the room, would love to use it for longer stay and take advantage of the kitchen, etc. Clean, great for the price.

This is the second time we stayed at this location. Our room was in better condition than the first stay. Both were clean and in good condition. The negative - both times we did not get the room we asked for. We specifically requested both time 2 double beds/non smoking. 1st time we got double beds/smoking and moved to a King/non smoking (right next […] to a smoking room) the 2nd time we got king bed/non smoking and stayed in that room. After making my reservation on hotels.com for a king non-smoking, upon arrival was told there were no king non-smoking available. Had to accept 2 doubles in a room that smelled like they had just converted it to non-smoking that morning....smell was terrible. Bus parked across 8 spaces right in front of our room.. loud talking from the room next door at 3:30AM. Barking dogs...We got up and left.

I was arriving after 10 PM and tried to call for directions and information and no one answered the telephone and every time the recording said it would send an text message to my phone with the directions it never happened. When I got to the motel the office was closed and the telephone that you were suppose to use to contact the office was broke. […] I used the telephone number that was posted on the door to call and let someone know I was there. After 30 mins of waiting with another customer someone finally let us in and check me into my room. When I got to the room I had no glasses, soap and the A/C and heat didn't work and I tried calling down to the front desk and no one answered, by this time it was almost midnight and was tired from the ride and went to sleep. I was woke up at 9 AM with a knocking at the door from housekeeping which I thought checkout was at 11 am. Now up I found there was no coffee and condiments for the little coffee maker so I took a shower, there was warm water not hot, and then left. By far one of the worst stays I have ever had and it seemed that the staff didn't care if you had a good stay or not. This was a great Hotel and very nice and comfortable BUT, they really need to buy some new beds. I ended up sleeping on the floor it had less springs digging into my back

This was fine for the night. The price was right and it was about what I expected for a 2 star hotel.

Had all the comforts of home!

the only problem with the room was that the guest before me decided to flush a trash bag down the toilet. good thing there was a plunger under the sink and enough bath towels to clean up the mess. other than that the location was good and the staff was good. i stayed here before a year or more ago and the establishment has made improvements.

Two nights in Phoenix without air conditioning and the only alternative I was given was to move from non-smoking to smoking. I was told a work order would be put in and someone would fix the a/c the morning after first night's stay. Nothing was fixed. This motel was clean, friendly and located close to the main areas of Tempe and Mesa (Airport, Stadium, Casino, University, food, shopping, etc,). It has a full size refrigerator with freezer, two burner stove top, large microwave, coffee maker with coffee, dishes, table and chairs, very comfortable bed and plenty of towels. Not a great place to stay. The room smelled bad and the supposed queen bed was not queen. I called to mention this because my reservation indicated a queen studio suite and I was told that it was a queen. I have a queen at home and that was not a queen but a full size. I stay in a lot of different hotels and motels and I must say that the location, value, cleanliness, and staff make this hotel the best. I commend, recommend and will definitely will stay there again. I rate homestead the big 5

I really enjoyed my two days alone in my hotel room. I was excited to have a working kitchen and a very comfortable bed. There weren't very many channels on the TV and one of the cabinet doors was broken, but other than that I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient room at a low price!

I appreciated the fact that the manager in charge came down to my room to make sure I was happy and see if I needed anything else.
