Pobyt w hotelu korzystny pod względem położenia, krótki spacer na zakupy i bliska odległość atrakcji dla zwiedzających miasto. Dużym minusem była wysoka cena za usługi gastronomiczne, wręcz kosmiczna cena za śniadanie w hotelu (ponad 40 $ za osobę - szwedzki stół) ale po drugiej stronie ulicy świetny lunch bar z dużą ilością breakfast menu. Zjedzenie dobrego śniadania nie było problemem(mnóstwo restauracji)w promieniu kilkuset metrów. Drugim minusem był brak widoku z okna, tylko mury sąsiednich budynków, nawet nie widziałam nieba z 16 piętra mojego pokoju. I jeszcze nie spełnione prośby przy rezerwacji. Byliśmy z dziećmi i wszstkie pokoje były na różnych piętrach a pokoje kupowaliśmy 3 miesiące wcześniej (prośba o wspólny korytarz nie spełniona) więc nie powinno być problemu w tej kategorii hotelu, a jednak był. Pokój jak na USA mały.

Hotel ma już swoje lata, ale lokalizacja na 7ej Ave perfekcyjna: blisko .Central Parku oraz Times Sq, także 5th Ave.

Hotel w bardzo dogodniej lokalizacji, blisko Union Square, łatwy dostęp metrem do całego Manhatanu. Sam pokój bardzo malutki, ale wystarczający na krótki pobyt, łóżko trochę skrzypiące. Spory hałas od ulicy spowodowany wbudowanym klimatyzatorem w okno.
Za dodatkową osobę może być wymagana dopłata, której wysokość zależy od obiektu.

Overall, OK airport hotel. But food options are extremely limited. Ate at the bar. Warm courteous service but a pretty limited menu and rundown environment with slightly sour, damp smell. Perhaps I shouldn't have sat at the bar. If I go back, I'll have dinner first elsewhere, though this is sometimes hard when you have no wheels.

"Ultimate service failure"
The hotel was simply incapable of picking up guest with any efficiency. While location is close to JFK it took more than two hours from first call to hotel regarding shuttle service to arriving to the hotel. I could have walked faster. The hotel is located on busy freeway and the noise was loud in the room. Staff were clearly overwhelmed and unempowered […] to address customer complaints. No response from management in 72 hours. "DoubleTree JFK Airport, NYC"
I spent one night before leaving to go overseas. The hotel was fine. It is a little hard to find the entrance because the street leading to the hotel is not clearly marked even when using GPS. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

This particular hotel, although the location was convenient, was not up to the DoubleTree standards that my Husband and I are used to. We were grateful that we were rewards members or we would have had to wait on an extremely long line to check in. Then we had to wait quite a while for the parking attendant to come to take our car before going up to […] our room. When we got to our room, the bed was comfortable as usual, but we had to call about 5 times to ask for another set of towels (because we only had one) and they never brought it up to us! Finally, checking out and apparently my card didn't go through, so we used my Husband's. Turns out when I asked my bank about it, the receptionist had punched In the wrong exp date a few times. Wow! DoubleTree at a great price! Aside from the $16/ night parking, it's everything a doubletree should be.

Don't stay here if you have other options. 3 stars rating is a gift. Shabby place, run by rude people, especially the shuttle driver. No help with the luggage, but he was quick to ask for a tip. This is by far the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at.
I was only here over night to attend an interview. It was very convenient to JFK. The staff was helpful and the bed was super cozy.

The only plus was the fact that there was a 24hr shuttle to the airport, & I had an early flight. If one was hungry there was absolutely no place for a sandwitch, or food of any kind, until the restaurant opened. "review where not telling the truth"
i booked it b4 i read the reviews, then felt i did a bad mistake not reading b4 booking, but when i arrived and walked to my room felt it was all a lie, and when i went inside the room it was so 5 star room, was v happy, next time i will check in this hotel again.

"DoubleTree Hotel Jamaica Queens, NY"
Parking was inconvenient. We had to park on the streets because there wasn't any available parking through the hotel. Overall the service was good, the rooms are really nice and clean. Shuttle to JFK is convenient for easy transfer to the airtrain to get to Jamaica station.

We had an early morning check in at JFK. We asked about the shuttle service the night before and was told to turn up in reception just before 6.00am as the shuttle leaves on the hour and half hour. We found the mini bus was too small for the number of people. The driver went away to get another vehicle but still this was not large enough for the number […] of passengers. "DoubleTree by Hilton JFK Airport"
The experience that I had at the hotel was horrible. Upon arrival we went to our room to find that the toilet did not work properly and that the water in the sink was standing when we brushed our teeth or washed our hands. I called to the front desk and someone was sent up saying that nothing was wrong with the toilet and then proceeded to place a paper-clip […] under the sink to allow it to drain. He worker advised that we had to flush and hold the toilet to make it work. We attempted to do so, but the next morning when a bowel movement was made, the tissue would not flush. I called down to the front desk to advise the manager and she said she would compensate us with a free breakfast for the inconvience. She then proceeded to tell us that when a bowel movement had to be made that you had to put the tissue in the trash. I asked the manager who would come remove the fecal matter, she stated we would have to do it. I told her that is not right that the toilets did not work and that she wanted us to do the job that the toilet was supossed to do. She stated that was just the way that toilets work in NY. When we finally got dressed and went downstairs to retrieve the vouchers for breakfast she stated that she was not going to give them since she felt insulted that I told her that if she wanted us to put tissue in the trash that she should remove it. WE HAVE STAYED IN MOTEL 6 THAT WERE A LOT BETTER THAN THIS HOTEL. WE HAVE STYED IN DOUBLETREE HOTELS ALL OVER THE U.S. AND THIS ONE IS NOT LIKE OTHER DOUBLE TREES. HOTEL IS OLD AND OUT OF DATE AND SERVISE WAS LOUSEY EXCEPT FOR SHUTTLE. HOPE OTHER HOTELS WE BOOK ARE NOT LIKE THIS ONE DONALD @ BETTIE WALBORN SURE WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY

this hotel is convenient for early flight, but that is all. Our room was GROSS. mold in shower and the drain was broken...so you were ankle deep in water. The toilet ran constantly (even though we informed the staff twice) the carpet was gross (stained, smelly and stained with who knows what as well as dust everywhere in the room) The front door was […] broken weeks earlier from a hurricane and still not repaired. Hotel is close to JFK and a subway ride to downtown New York City.

Perfect for what it was, quick and easy access to JFK. Clean rooms, no problems at all.

Room had broken remote, broken lamp, no blowdryer, and I swear I'm bright but I just couldn't work the air conditioner. Older building, older bedding- meh.

There was a distinct bad odor in the lobby area. Room was nice but the bath towels were missing and I had to use hand towels and sheets to dry off after my shower.

"Doubletree JFK"
The check in line was long. No roomservice even though advertised in the room. Not enought kitchen saff for buffet breakfast. No repair of broken equipment in gym, although I did not bring that to their attention and probably no one else had. One day no towel or drinking water in the gym. The room was clean and comfortable.

"great location and price"
we needed a hotel that had late room service/ restuarant hours. The location was great and the complimentary shuttle service is a perk that brings the room price down to a good value. We arrived late from London and had an early flight, so the location and late food service per priorities. highly recommended.
"Shuttle service was a disaster"
On arrival, not enough shuttles seats for passengers, so had to wait for the shuttle, some were waiting over an hour. Return shuttle refused to drop us at Federal Circle, even thought it is advertised as a stop - so had to take airtrain. For an airport whose main element is convinience for JFK, this is just not good enough.

"Lacked the quaility that it's known for."
The exterior and interior lacked the ambiance and flare that Doubletree is known for. If the name "Doubletree" was removed from the building, I would have thought that I was staying in a cheap, marginally maintained hotel. My wife and I are very disappointed with the accomodation, including the unenthusiatic staff.

LGAからJFKの乗り継ぎで利用しました。LGAからタクシーで約30ドル、30分程度。JFKへは毎時00分と30分にシャトルバスが出ていて、JFKへはシャトルバスを利用しました。 ホテルの周りに何も無いので、ホテルの1Fで食事しました。ハンバーガーが約10ドル。ビールが一杯7ドルでした。 乗り継ぎでの利用なので十分でした。次回も機会があれば利用したいと思います。 ただ、バスタブの栓がなくお湯をためられないので、バスタブにつかりたい人は要注意です。
The staff was extremely accomodating and nice, they went out of their way to grant me an early check in.
