Piękny, świetnie utrzymany hotel, czyściutki i bardzo komfortowy. Znajduje się praktycznie w samym centrum, świetne połączenie komunikacyjne. W okolicy same markowe sklepy. Jeśli nie chce się korzystać z restauracji w hotelu, to trzeba odbyć spacer do nieco odległych sklepów czy restauracyjek. Ogólnie okolica bardzo przyjemna.

Spędziłem w tym hotelu trzy noce i byłem bardzo zadowolony. Oddalony od centrum, ale oferujący kilkakrotnie w ciągu dnia bezpłatny dojazd własnym busem do głównej ulicy miasta. Niedaleko dostęp do komunikacji publicznej. Położenie tuż przy jeziorze z przyjemnym widokiem na wodę. Czysty pokój (gorzej na korytarzach), dobrze wypozażona łazienka, klimatyzacja, uprzejma obsługa w recepcji, dostatecznie wyposażony pokój biznesowy (komputer, drukarka) ogólny bezpłatny dostęp WiFi do Internetu, basen, w pokojach ekspres do kawy i lodówka, co dzień nowa porcja kawy i herbaty do samodzielnego przyrządzania, telewizor (choć nie najlepszej jakości i z małą liczbą programów, ale to nie było dla mnie najważniejsze), na korytarzu maszyna do lodu i automaty z napojami. Jedno co mi nie odpowiadało to posiłki w restauracji hotelowej, zwłaszcza oferowane podczas śniadań (jajecznica, chyba z proszku, dziwne jakieś mazie, dziwne w smaku kiełbaski itp), ale to zapewne typowo amerykańskie potrawy, a wyczucie smaku to oczywiście rzecz indywidualnego gustu. W każdym razie były dość urozmaicone i zawsze uzupełnione o świeże owoce. Raz w tygodniu w rozsądnej cenie ( 20 dol.) kolacja typu - bufet, z zadziwiająco dużym wyborem dań (część nawet mi smakowała, a jestem przyzwyczajony do dobrej kuchni - zwłaszcza ryby, których oferowano kilka rodzajów w różnej postaci) towarzyszyła temu muzyka na żywo i sprawna obsługa kelnerska. W sumie OK.

"Great Location!"
Great location, good service, big and spacious rooms, great facilities (gym, swimming pool). I would recommend it to anybody. It was unexpected and surprising. We went with our 5 months old baby, and they had everything we needed (crib, kitchen, fridge, dish washing machine, microwave oven).

Suprised at the room size for chicago, great deal for the money. Full kitchen with a fridge to put all the leftovers from all the great local restaraunts.. A small building across the street so great views of some tall buildings. I will stay at this hotel again thanks

My wife and I stayed here for a long shopping weekend; the location can't be beat. Close to the Mag Mile and multiple excellent restaurants.The kitchen was very good to have and the room itself was more than adequate. Great value! However, i'll still give u the pros & cons. CONs: loud refrigerator made noises throughout the night, sleeper sofa mattress was all springs :-/, the toilet water leaked on the bathroom floor, although food was free, there was often a long line & shortage of plates, lastly, the elevator was very slow. PROs: free food!, free wifi, great location […] & beautiful views of downtown. Great decor throughout, awesome business center, gym & pool. "Excellent Hotel"
Normally this hotel would not be in our price range, but it was discounted during our visit to Chicago. Hotel staff was very courteous, rooms were well-appointed and the bed was especially comfortable with an amazing view. If you can afford it, stay here!

Nearly everything about our stay at Homewood Suites Chicago was fine, if not excellent. Service was outstanding--better than 5 star hotels we've stayed in other cities. Every single staff person was professional, courteous and helpful. This runs the gamut from doormen and parking attendants to housekeeping to management. Can't say enough about how wonderful […] they are. The free breakfast and dinner was appreciated. Management staff would roam and make sure everyone was satisfied with meals, etc. Nice touch. Our suite was great. Windows in both the bedroom and sitting area opened so we could let in the warm spring air. Bed was comfortable, and the suite gave us everything we needed. No problems with being given a smoking room, as others had posted here. Our entire floor was non-smoking. Of course, nothing is perfect. Here are a few things that bothered us. 1) Internet/TV would cut out repeatedly and frequently. I could not keep a signal on my iPad for more than 15 minutes without the signal dropping. Sometimes it would go out every 30 seconds or so. Really not what I expected from a hotel so near the Loop. Then again, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. 2) Parking price. I know it's Chicago and it's expensive to park anywhere, but really? No deals for guests? 3) No fans in the bathrooms. One of my least favorite things to encounter in a hotel. I understand you were having difficulties with the internet and TV. We recently switched our TV service and are now offering more HD channels. However, we are finding glitches in certain rooms and are in the process of working with the TV provider to eliminate them. I am also proud to say that we are also running on a new network for our internet; the internet service we provide at the hotel is now faster and more reliable. I decided to take my two teenagers on spring break to Chicago and saw Homewood Suites on hotels.com and felt it was the best fit for us! They offer a wonderful full breakfast included, not to mention the manager's dinner on Monday-Thursday nights from 5-7 pm. What a deal!! This is definately a Grand hotel to stay on Grand Avenue! The door men greet […] you with a smile and my son really enjoyed talking with all of them each day! Jonah was especially nice and he gave us some quick tips on what to do in the area and they always aimed us in the right direction so we wouldn't get lost! Starr at the front desk was exceptional and helped us with transportation directions. We really enjoyed the pool, but only thing missing is a hot tub! Overall our stay was great! The room was nice and the location is great (only a block from the red line). My only complaint would be that the mattress on the pack-n-play was rock hard (I stuffed towels under the sheet). That being said, it was provided for free so I cannot complain too much!

This hotel had a friendly staff. It was walking distance to a number of major attractions. The added bonus of indoor pool and serve yourself breakfast certainly helped. I wouldn't call this "upscale" but definitely a place I'd consider staying again.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great across from Nordstroms and in the center of everything. Downtown Chicago parking is expensive however the complimentary breakfast and on somedays dinner offset the cost. The pool view from the 19th floor was spectacular. The staff was very nice. This hotel room worked out great with a baby so that she could nap and sleep and we could still be up in the other room. There was so much space and the breakfast was VERY good! Money Saver For Sure!!!

Please visit this location it's the hidden suite downtown, the view from the 19th floor pool room was great, the staff service was on point, just a great place to stay my husband and I took our daughter and some of her friends for a over night stay and I must say it was great looking forward to going back without the kids.
The pillows were VERY hard. I know it is hard to satisfy everyone, but thought I would put that in so maybe you can have a variation of pillows. We are thinking of coming again (2 rooms) July 14th and hoping you can send us a deal so we don't have to go through GROUPON. We would rather send you the business!

The staff at the front desk and the doorman are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is incredible. The room is large and clean. The location is great for walking to many sights and great shopping. We stay here often

I got a great off season deal on this suite and I was very satisfied. I have to say my favorite part was the continental breakfast in the morning. Everything was very fresh and seasoned well. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I even got free late checkout which helped since my train didn't leave until 4pm and I could check my bags […] downstairs and have an early dinner nearby. The front desk staff was nothing but helpful in answering any questions I had. I would stay here again! I feel I got a good value for the money and it is located like a block from Michigan Ave! We have stayed at many hotels in Chicago and we will be staying here again for sure. It was perfect for my family of four. The kids were able to sleep on the couch bed and had their own television to watch. It was so nice to have a full kitchen if we felt like staying in to eat.
