construction beginning at 7am on the roof above the room i was staying in, and not having any hot water for a shower because the shower level cannot move past the safety rail they installed on the shower walls.

Very Clean and Renovated Rooms. The rooms are very big with a kitchen, desk, flat screen TV and big beds...we were on the third floor in the back of the hotel so it was very quiet. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that when we checked in our luggage before our room was ready so we could go to the beach, they just left the luggage in the lobby. […] That doesn't seem safe with people walking in and out. Their was plenty of room in the back and they should allow you to keep your luggage in a safe and secure room. The location is excellent, with it just being one block from the beach.... If u want a clean, relaxing place to come back to after a day at the beach or a night out, and thats still close to the action, this is the spot for u. The fresh smell of the lobby was really cleansing esp after a night out. Had a hotel suite that was perfect with a separate living and dining area, hardwood floors, and really nice bathroom and kitchen. […] The location is great, close to the beach, lincoln road, ocean ave, etc. The only downfall was since we stayed during spring break, music was blasting during most of the day, could not sleep well at times. Staff was pretty nice (helps if you know Spanish), however watch out for a lot of fees that come ur way I.e resort fees, extra person fees, parking, etc) keep a good count of what u pay for! Also make sure everyone in ur room registers with the hotel, Cus if someone loses their key and cant get in their room, they will not let that person in. I booked this hotel because of the location and the fact that it had been recently updated. However, upon arriving at the hotel it was clear that while the location was great, the upkeep was not. The hallways were dark and tired. Encountering the roomkeeping/frontdesk staff was much the same, as they barely acknowledged your presence and didn't make […] an effort to make you feel welcome. Meanwhile the beds had to be one step above cots. In fact, cots would've made less noise when you move during the night. At first, I was disappointed that there were two beds, and not one king, but seperate beds were the only way my girlfriend and I could ensure a full night's sleep. We later had to look under the bed to find a lost item and found that the boxsprings were in terrible shape, ripped, and may have been leftover from the original days of the hotel. This hotel was under construction and a total DUMP. For one night stay, I should have paid a little bit extra and stayed anywhere else than this hotel. The hotel does not look like the picturces posted. BEWARE! And do not stay at this hotel alone.

A wonderful little boutique hotel in the perfect location, on the main drag of A1A, just a block from the beach. Friendly staff, tasteful decor. A simple breakfast is included. It was an especially good deal for a large suite room with a full kitchen. (One critique is the uncomfortable beds, but you can't have it all.)

Room 103 and 104 back up against the service alley and the parking lot. There is a lot of noise from the cars, service attendants, and people arguing once in a while. In addition, right now (January 2012), they are renovating the hotel. During my stay, they power-washed the walls around the windows of my room on the alley-side and as you can imagine, […] it was loud, even with ear plugs in. This hotel looks much better online than in person. It is old and run down. It is also very noisy. The sounds echo from the lobby. It was very hard to get a good nights rest. The location was handy to the ocean however.

My girlfriend and I had a quick weekend trip to South Beach. We chose the Nassau Hotel because the price was right, it had two beds, a kitchen and the location looked good. When we arrived (from the airport you can get a taxi for a flat rate of $33 or take the shuttle for $21), we instantly loved the location. It's one block from the beach in the art […] deco district amongst other older hotels that have been remodeled. The front desk staff was pretty friendly. Our room was a great size with two queen beds, sofa area, walk in closet and pretty much a full kitchen. The decor for the most part was nice and modern. Our only issue with the rooms were the beds, not comfortable at all. If you're gonna redecorate a hotel room go for good beds people. Didn't experience much noise. Continental breakfast was simple but decent. There's no ice which isn't ideal in Miami, but that's an easy enough fix, also the elevator isn't working. My room was so dark that I could not tell if the sun was up outside. Bottom floor north-facing rooms were like a crypt of dark. the room was very large, great, with a kithchonette, but I was disappointed by complete absence of daylight.

The Nassau Suite is in the center of everything South Beach. Staff was great and room was very large. The only thing it lacks is a pool but they have parking. Overall a home run of a stay.

I only stayed 1 night but it was very nice. The only complaints would be the bed was squeaky and the tub/shower lever was broken. (you can still take a shower). Overall, the room was chic and comfy. I loved the front porch with the lawn chairs (very comfy), the parking was very convenient. The suite was very nice, clean, and in a good location. I could walk to the beach, shops, etc.. The only complaint I had was that the room had no clock or microwave and the stereo system in there was old (it had a tape player), no ipod connection which the room said it had. All in all it was a nice spot to be at... Could sit out on the porch and people watch. Nassau is within walking distance to the beach, also shopping and eating establishments a plenty. Housekeeping got to my room rather late in the day but they always apologized and did what they needed to do quickly & efficiently. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The suite was like a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, large refrigerator and microwave oven. Internet connection (Wi-Fi) was fast and free. Best of all they had their own large parking lot next to hotel. The daily charge was $16, which is a great bargain for south beach. The location is only one […] block from the beach and very convenient to the shopping stores. They also provided free beach towels and chairs. For the price I loved this hotel. perfect location rooms were very nice. we took a girls trip and rented two rooms. they had the rooms right next to each other and the staff was very nice. Very satisfied!

I had a great time in Miami Beach, and part was because this hotel had such a great location and service. On Collins Av., 1 block to the beach, parking (for a fee), 1 block to Ocean Drive. The in-room facilities were great too, with a full kitchen, very nice bathroom, electric plugs everywhere, and a flat TV which rotated over a pole from the bedroom […] to the kitchen / living room. The service was also fantastic, very friendly and helpful. However, I cannot miss to say that I found in one night, in a period of 15 minutes, 4 cockroaches... This was a major drawback, which questioned somewhat the cleanliness of the hotel. I did not get too upset about this, but I know that for some people it could be a big problem, so that's why I mention it. Other room for improvement could be the matressses (comfortable, but old and worn out), and perhaps the breakfast, which is included in the fee but it is a bit modest. ...and if you know what you'll be getting, you'll likely be satisfied. Not the friendliest front desk staff...rarely looked up when I walked in. Suite is decent, but be advised tile floors can be noisy when there are guests above you. Speaking of noise: be prepared, especially if you have a rear-corner room on the back alley, as I did. Garbage trucks […] sound like they're in your room and they come by in the pre-dawn hours. Not much you can do about rude guests letting doors slam, though. It was nice to have a kitchenette, but even though there was a coffee pot, there were no coffee-making supplies. Yet, along with candies and snacks, there were condoms in the basket of amenities! There was also no pen available, nor a TV guide of any sort. The bathroom is TINY! Granted, the sink is in the alcove outside of the tub/toilet area, but the amount of floor space in the bathroom is not much larger than the bath mat. Also, I have never seen a fixed-glass panel on a tub, which makes it awkward to shower. You must be in the tub before you turn the water on, so forget trying to rinse out a bathing suit. The panel spans about 2/3 of the tub and does not move. Weird. The closet is huge; way bigger than the bathoom. Made it nice to dump the suitcases in and keep them out of the way. Decor is gray/white. Nice sized TV was in a pivoting cabinet so it could face the bed or sofa. Location is near-perfect; one block from Ocean Drive and the beach. if you have a car, be prepared for really tight parking spaces. I had to execute 6-point turns to get a small Nissan Versa rental out of any parking space. A couple light switches didn't seem to control anything and of the 4 clocks in the room (microwave, stove, coffeemaker, and alarm) only one was even close to correct. Yup, I'm a details person so I notice everything. But, I would likely return. The bed was comfy and I liked the location. And knowing what they do/do not have, I could be better prepared next time. Great, big and confortable Room. The elevator was broken during our entire stay, and that was the only down side.

The downside: 1. Elevator was broken all weekend, so we had to use the stairs. Not bad because we got good exercise, but it wasn't fun having to carry luggage down the stairs 2. Hotel lobel and hallway had a weird smell, but the rooms smelled great! 3. In-room internet access was not working, but we were able to use the business center downstairs (there […] was never a crowd to use the computers in the business room) The good things: 1. You can borrow chairs and towels for the beach 2. Free breakfast (although limited selection) 3. Movie theater in basement added a nice touch 4. Fitness center 5. The hotel is a couple blocks away from the strip so the walk got tedious after a while. The rooms were great, very modern!! The front desk attendant gave a random person my room key and I am in the midst of speaking to the general managering concerning this situation. Other than my little situation, I recommend it!

We were looking for an art deco hotel centrally located. That's exactly what we found, but we were pleasantly surprised by the way the room looked. Very stylish, modern and spacious ( except for the bathroom). Our room was on the 3rd floor and was surprisingly quiet considering that the hotel is on busy Collins.

Pros: Nice area Cons: Shower very dirty...Mold, Noisy, Very poor lighting...its very hard to see in the mirror. And the bed needs new matrass...you can feel the springs

achei o custo x benefício bom,se tratando de um quarto tipo flat todo equipado. Apesar do hotel estar em reforma,gostei no geral. Ponto ruim: o elevador que é muito pequeno e antigo!

O hotel tem excelente localização ,pode-se rodar a pé na Ocean Dr, Lincoln Road, Espanhola Way, Washington Dr. O café da manhã continental é o suficiente ,até melhor que eu esperava.A coisa ruim é que não tem ninguém para te ajudar a carregar as malas e o elevador é para no máximo 2 pessoas. A recepcionista não é tão simpática.E a pior parteé o cheiro […] de mofo docorredor,minha filha que é alérgica passava por ele com o nariz tampado. Super placering! 2 min. Gang til strans, shopping, etc.Roligt ifht omkringliggende gader, en fordel når man rejser m en to-årig. Havde suite m køkken, ganske fin, fin service på hotellet. Minusser: overboer larmede meget fra kl 4, men ikke hotellets fejl, og meget slidte madrasser. Vi var bestemt tilfredse, og ville komme tilbage

Soggiornato dal 20 al 22 gennaio 2012. Camera molto grande e bella per quanto la hall sia abbastanza fatiscente. Colazione non entusiasmante. Ottima la posizione per visitare miami beach ci si può movere tranquillamente a piedi per raggiungere tutte le principali zone turistiche.

Greit hotell med digert rom. Litt mørkt inne. Beliggenhet perfekt. Nær stranden og borte fra støy. Hyggelig betjening, - og så slapp vi haugen med "hjelpere" som skal ha dollar. Vi har nok spist bedre frokost de fleste steder.

Hotellet är som ett hostel i den mening att det är enkelt inrett och frukosten är inte något annat än ett snack som du tar för att orka gå någon annanstans och äta en riktig frukost. Rummet innehöll alla bekvämligheter och det var stort. Men enkelt som i övrigt. Bra parkering, trevlig personal och bra läge.
