cant believe the hotel do not have complimentary toothbrush. I had to go run to front desk twice just to go back to my room to grab credit card to pay for it.

Our room seemed brand new, everything. Wonderful view of river. Some freeway noise but nothing extreme. Very pleased. Will stay again.

This place had a beautiful view of the river. Clean rooms, and great staff. The breakfast was delicious and the there were two ladies in the breakfast lounge that made it more pleasant. Olivia and Adrianna, great service, food and smiles.

This was a nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable. It was very near I-205, bit the rooms were well insulated and the noise was not a problem. Nice amenities. And there was a nice little park on the river nearby

We really enjoyed our short stay. We were in town for a big birthday party at the High Rocks right next door - perfect location to be able to walk home. It's literally across the parking lot! We also enjoyed the fact that there's two free drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks (soup, veggies, cheese, hummus, pitas) available at night for each […] person, plus free breakfast. If for some reason I was in this area again, I'd likely stay here. My only negative review is that it's a big weird that it shares a parking lot with Safeway. Parking slots were pretty tight and seemed limited. We had stayed here before and loved the hotel. We had high expectations for our second stay. It was nothing like our first visit. Check in time was 3 o'clock. When we got there our room was not ready. They said they would call when it was. By 6pm, still no call but I went back in to say we couldn't wait any longer. Our room was actually ready by that […] time, but no one called us to let us know. Once in our room, one of the TV's was broken. We called to get it fixed, but no one showed up. Our room was right next to the work out room and when people ran on the treadmill it shook the whole bed and was very loud. Plus our room was furnished with two towels for four people. Annoying. We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Oxford Suites as a less expensive alternative to downtown Portland. Access to the hotel was easy and the Safeway nearby was convenient for the forgotten toothbrush. The shampoo and body soap dispenser in the shower was handy but the shampoo and soap was just ok. Washing hands at the sink requires a trip to the shower […] dispenser since no soap is available at the sink. The Wolfgang Puck coffee pods made a great cup of coffee but my wife likes tea which was not included. The bed and pillows were perfect! I would stay here again but with my own soap and shampoo. Hotel was nice, breakfast was exceptional. However, we were incredibly disappointed that the pool closed the day of our arrival for resurfacing. We booked this hotel specifically so that our 5 year old could swim. Would have been nice to have been informed ahead of time that the facilities were closed.

This trip was a day nite stay over the Christmas holiday. Staff alway friendly and helpful. Hotel provided the best seasonal help!!--- A table set up in the lobby with Christmas wrapping paper---scissors/tape/ tags and bows. What more could a traveler ask for???. It was EXTREMELY helpful!! Hotel also had a very nice full breakfast menu.

I stay in a lot of hotels (60+ nights a year.) This was really nice. Room was clean and had a nice view of the river (and the highway). Only bad thing was the road noise when you open window but it was quiet as could be in the room. I thought all the rooms had a balcony. We had a larger room, but changed to a balcony room the second night. The weather was warm and sunny and we wanted to sit outside. There was no patio or outside area to sit, and that is why we changed rooms so that we could sit on the balcony and enjoy the sun.

Great experience - good breakfast One guest did load all the snacks onto a plate to take to his room from the buffet in the evening (came back 2x) and the dining room host didn't say anything to him. Rather rude guest - maybe a notice that the snacks were for all the guests might have been in order.

We enjoyed the Oxford Suites in Gladstone. The staff was courteous and our room was neat and clean. Its just too bad you can't sit on your balcony due to the traffic noise on the freeway.

Grew up blocks away from this hotel and always stay here when we are in town. Great value for the money with free prepared-to-order breakfast and evening reception. Rooms are well appointed and easy for my husband, who is disabled, to navigate. Staff is helpful and friendly. Safeway is across the parking lot; very convenient.

For service I give this hotel 5 stars. Beyond that~it is just mediocre. The room we stayed in was straight out of 1989~I remember my mom having the same basic color scheme, headboard AND lighting. The executive suite is laid out very strangely with the door opening to the bedroom side, and pocket doors leading into the main living area. The A/C unit […] was located in the main living area, and struggles to cool the bedroom area~ once the pocket doors are closed, it does NOTHING. We wound up having to keep the doors open. What was the point of a suite again? Not that it mattered that our kids were sharing the same room with us. Nobody was really sleeping. The mattresses on both the sleeper sofa and bed were awful. The mattress on the bed was so firm that our hips and back hurt through the night. The sleeper sofa was so lumpy that my 12 y.o. came into bed with us. And the pillows were WAY to lofty and firm~ neck cricks for the family! Other than the room, the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. Lobby was nice, pool area was clean (although the top row of tiling was broken, so it left kid of a freaky gap at the top of the pool our 5 y.o. was afraid had sharks in it~pretty funny actually) the free breakfast was alright, inclucing made to order omlettes.
