"perfect"
Used this hotel for coachella 2012, it was very quick to get there and the price affordable. The room was very spacious, hotel a/c broke on us during the night but we jumped in the pool to cool. l down. $25 fee for later check-out.. nice for us college kids on a budget
Stayed here for coachella, and while the hotel was very nice it was far from the festival site. The restaurant on the property is amazing though! Nice place to stay in palm springs.
The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The carpets in the room and hallway are dirty. The AC unit is very noisy and you can't leave the sliding glass door open for fresh air at night if you're on the first floor. Worse than other Days Inn we've been at. We keep asking for conditioner and they kept giving us lotion. Then I went to front desk and they said that they ran out of conditioner. Then housekeeping told us that they've never had conditioner there at the hotel. They finally came back with it 45 minutes, by this time my girls wanted to get out of the shower. Good hotel, large room, clean and able to park right outside room - no additional charges. Free WiFi. Nice swimming pool - pool area clean and tidy and plenty of chairs to enjoy a bit of relaxation. Basic free breakfast - coffee and toast or pastry - although you could pay extra for a larger choice.

The Days Inn website said that a free breakfast is included. Unfortunately, this means a coupon to the restaurant on the property - a free coffee and a cheap Cosco pastry, or $1 off an overpriced breakfast. This hardly measures up to the "free breakfast" as advertised.

I was mostly pleased with my stay at Days Inn. It's very affordable. Some upgrades to this hotel would be perfect seeing how out of date everything was. Nice pool though and I loved the views and location.

Great place for the family. Room was comfortable and my kids love the pool. The only down side is that there is no towels in the pool area and it was hard to get extra towels for the room. Also, the water temperture from the shower kept changing while you were taking a shower. :( Overall, I still recommend this place!!! :)

Great photography to show that this is a clean and welcoming stay. Severely aged hotel, all ammenities are dated to circa 1950. The continental breakfast consists of a "pastry" and a beverage at the restaurant located near the property, but you have to go to the front office first thing in the morning to obtain your coupon. The front desk staff did […] not have our room ready as they said that housekeeping was still cleaning the room when we were checking in; we checked in at the allowed time. We attempted to ask for another room and were told to wait 30 minutes, of which we did and still did not have our room available. However, the next morning while having breakfast, housekeeping was prompt to jump in to clean our room. Ironic. The pool and spa were filthy, green and uninviting, and maintenance had to add GALLONS of chlorine to them while we were there in order to maintain a healthy "blue" color to the pool. The room lacked a personal coffee brew for those who like a bit of caffeine in the morning. The linens looked as if it were recently rented to a prostitute due to smears of mascara and other makeup, miscellaneous stains and burns, all very unappealing to want to snuggle in for a good night's sleep. "Good Experience for the cost involved..."
The best part about the hotel was the pool...very large and beautiful, and lots of grass and palm trees. They definitely need more than 3 tables and 2 umbrellas though. Also, bring your own towels for the pool. I was disappointed with the "continental breakfast"...it was just a coupon good for coffee, orange juice and a pastry in a cellophane wrapper […] at the restaurant next door. Thin walls (loud), smelly room, broken lamp... but very friendly desk service. By the way, the 'continental breakfast' is a voucher for coffee and a danish to be redeemed in the cafe/diner next door.

The positives: -The pools were lovely; warm, spacious, clean etc -There was a nice fountain and path area where my kids could ride their bikes and play. -A good deal for the price point The averages: -The room was older but that didn't really bother us -Ricks Restaurant was pretty ordinary, and a pastry in a plastic bag doens't really qualify as "continental […] breakfast" in my opinion. The negatives: -There was a nightclub across the street that kept us up until 2am the second night. We didn't hear it at all the first night. I asked at the front desk and they said it was "sometimes" like that. So impossible to predict. -There was only one towel in the room (for 4 of us). I asked them to bring enough towels for shower and pool. The gal who came gave me 4, but baulked at 4 more. If they are not doing to provide towels for the pool they should say. When I finally got the extra towels we needed, we hung them up so we could use them the next day. Then the miads took them! The instructions on the wall said to hang the towels you wanted to keep and leave the others on the floor. We hung them all. No wonder they were short on towels. The facility is not very memorable. Bland decor, the linens are well worn, but at least it was clean. This is definitely a no frills motel. Also, if you like to soak in a bath, this is not the place for you. Our room only had a shower.
There needs to be coffee in the room or otherwise available for the earley risers.

The location was great but the hotel was over charging and under accomodating. I called the hotel Ahead of time to see if they had a roll a way bed and they said they did so when we arrived at our location they rudely started to lecture us on why uts out fault they dont have a bed available and then they suddenly had one when we them about how we did […] call the hotel directly. This was a great hotel. Every thing was clean and comfortable. The fitness center, swimming pool, and jacuzzi were great. Better than expected. I felt very safe as well. Doors and windows were very secure. Only two things need improvment. It would be nice to see some kind of artwork on the walls, either pictures or mural. I would say that it was my mistake, booking this place based only on the nice pictures that they present on the website. This place is in pretty bad shape. "If you have to stay here, then okay."
The hotel itself is not bad, but when we first walked into the detached lobby to check in we witnessed the staff loudly arguing with some guests. Not professional. The lobby is way to small for that kind of display and although they were very nice to me and my group, it still wasn't pleasant watching and listening to how they interacted with some others. […] Then, the next night, there was a domestic dispute with someone in the room directly below us, causing the police to show up and begin looking for someone. And lastly, the free breakfast is a joke and the restaurant that you go to to get it is overcrowded and the staff are a bit standoffish. I am hoping it's just because they were busy, and not because they weren't a fan of our skin colors...but I didn't see them treating everyone else the way we were treated so I am not so sure. The wi-fi kept dropping when used in the room. Electricity was not consistent. Got to the point where the power between the queen size beds diod not work. Alarm clock did not work. I was very upset when I pulled at the days Inn (talk about projects) this place was so run down and tacky. The photos must have been photo shop cause this place was a dump. The place used to be plams court, there are signs all around that still state the other hotel. In general a poor hotel. The vending machines were empty and the one close to my room was too loud. The walls were too thin and I could hear my neighbours conversation about breakfast at 6 am. In general if you want a good nights sleep this is not the place to go.

For the price I paid the room was good. I had no issues. Its an older hotel but my bedding, room, and bathroom were very clean. Each room also has an outside patio. The only thing was I could smell a little ciggarette smoke in the hallway, but none in my room.

I was glad that we decided to stay one night and not the whole weekend. If you're looking to sleep in comfort, this is not the place to stay. The bed was hard to sleep on and the aircondition was load and noises.

Absolutely loved our stay. Very charming and 60's which is what Palm Springs is all about! Loved that the pool and pool furniture was original bringing in the 60's feelings. One negative was that we checked in at around late noon and the A/C was not turned on. The temperature outside was 112 degrees. It took approximately 6-7 hours to finally get comfortable […] which was very annoying. We enjoyed the pool for a few hours and went out for dinner and came back too tired to complain and hoped it would cool off in which it did finally after midnight. Oh well....the hotel is beautiful as is and of course the price was right for guest just passing through town for the night. Also suggest you having a second mirror outside of the bathroom mirror!
