"Near Howe's Cavern"
Booked the hotel for only one night. This is a Holiday Inn Express so my expectations were not that high. The people that work the front desk do not seem to be happy people, so don't take it personally if they don't smile. We stayed on the first floor and the hallway smelled strongly of cumin and our room smelled lightly of cumin. It looked like the […] room had not been occupied for a while b/c the toilet was not clean. My friend came out of the bathroom and said to me "I just wanted you to know that I did not do that". The water in the toilet was yellow and remained yellow after many flushes and until we left. Bed was soft and comfortable and seemed clean. Free WIFI and tv worked. Would most likely try another hotel if I was to visit this area again. Literally stayed at the hotel for 10 hours so it was good enough for a sleep and shower. Przeczytaj więcej
Little hard to find in the dark, but perfect place to stay when traveling through the area.

Easy to see from route 88. But finding hotel after dark could be tough. Other wise great stay at good price.

"Holiday Inn Express Schohrie, NY"
I would never stay at this hotel again. Our room smelled of cigarettes. When I told the front desk clerk she said," someone must have smoked in there, they shouldn't have done that." Well yea. I asked for any sort of different room because the 4 of us couldn't stand the smell. She told us they were all booked up and she couldn't do anything about it. "holiday inn"
Hotel seemed to have renters with a dog acroos the hall from us. Toilet plugged up and front desk seemed totally unconcerned. Yikes.
"Holiday Inn Schoharie - unclean/untidy rooms"
Our stay at the Holiday Inn Schoharie was not a pleasant one. Our first assigned room overlooked the highway, had an unpleasant odor and was untidy. We requested a change of room which was graciously accommodated by desk staff. The second room was more untidy and the bathroom was dirty (the toilet needed cleaning and when we used the shower mildew particles […] washed out of the drain into the tub). During a short morning shower there was no hot water. We often stay at Holiday Inn Express properties and book with them because of their reputation and consistent service. "Nice Room for the Price"
The rooms in this hotel were quite nice for the price. Between my mom and sisters we occupied 4 rooms. All were very clean, well appointed, and a real value. The breakfast assortment was more than adequate and the coffee was excellent! Too bad there isn't an on-site restaurant.
