The hotel at San Antonio at the River walk was really great. Very clean, beautiful and the bed very confortable. The only thing I am not satisfy is the use of the internet should be free and the charge on parking the car should be also cover, other than that is really a nice place to stay.
I was very weary about picking a hotel I had never seen but twice I have picked one from this site and both times I have been very satisfied. Great job and the hotel was magnificent

"Westin Riverwalk San Antonio"
Elegant hotel located on a quiet part of the Riverwalk. We were a very short walk away from the main part of the Riverwalk. We paid a little extra for the riverside balcony and enjoyed the view. Our room was elegantly appointed, very comfortable and quiet. We will stay here again when in San Antonio.

"Nice hotel, super nice staff!!"
They messed up our rooms the first night but they made it for it 10 fold the next night. Beautiful room, wonderful breakfast buffet, nice pool. Only complaint the lobby bar, the staff was rude both nights. Everyone else went out of their way to be super friendly and nice..

The hotel was great and the staff even better. Everyone was very helpful, from the valet parking (which is a must if you stay here) to directions and recommendations on where to eat. Came to San Antonio for a relaxing weekend with my boyfriend. Totally worth the money. Staff was timely and friendly. Just make sure to keep an eye on your expenses and ask any question about charges you are not sure about. Other than that, fantastic!

"Excellent location and Service"
Very pleased with location and service received. All staff were pleasent and responsive. Beds and overall quality was high There was an issue with the AC in the room a tech was there in 5 minutes and the issue was resloved immediately. Would recommend, was great price for the quality of hotel

The hotel had all the amenenties we were expecting. David, the conceierge, was wonderfully helpful. He really knows the city and has a great sense of humor. "The Westin Riverwalk- Pillows smelled of BO"
This was a very nice hotel, the only issues I was one of the pillows on the bed was a round pillow about 4 feet long and designed with no pillow case. This pillow smelled of BO bad and one of the other normal pillows smelled to the point you could smell it through the pillow case. I had to wait about an hour and call three different times just to get a safety pin, after about an hour after my check in. I kept getting complaints from an annoying neighbor even when i was not in my room.I did NOT AT ALL recieve ANY room service even after requesting it at check in. I had to call to get trash bags delivered so i can clean up my own […] room. When i called for the trash bags i had to wait 30 min and call twice for them to come up. Then on the day of my check out, i had to call twice for them to bring me a cart and laundry bags, and it also took them about 30 min. ( i can understand the cart took a while because many more people were checking out) The balcony was VERY small and only about two people can stand on it at a time. "Excellent location"
I loved the decor of this hotel and the lower level patio to the Riverwalk was great! The pool level could have been nicer with a better view. I was also dissapointed that there was no hot tub outside. However, the services was excellent.

"WESTIN HOTEL"
OUR FIRST NIGHT THE A/C DID NOT WORK AND THEY MOVED US FROM THE 10TH FLOOR CENTER RIVERWALK VIEW TO THE 7TH FL NEAR THE MAIN STREET WITH ALL THE TRAFFIC NOISE. WE VALLETED OUR CAR AND MY DIGITAL CAMERA WAS STOLEN FROM THE CONSOLE. I EXPECTED ALOT BETTER.

After our nightmare single night at a nearby supposedly 4.5 star hotel that very dark, dreary and non-kid friendy, we moved to the Westin. They were great! Reasonable price, room and service were awesome. "Not worth price"
Parking-self parking lot right across the hotel was full (two lots) and unable to find any near by self parking lot and ended up paying for very pricey valet service. Hotel was very unhelpful trying to find you a parking out.... Riverside Balcony Room-paid extra for balcony that had nothing. Not even a chair to seat down and enjoy the view. When they […] tell you you will have view of riverwalk, forget about it. If you end up staying above 7th floor, you can't enjoy any of the riverside view anyway. Also Balcony is constructed in such way that it looks very unstable and unsafe. I would not recommend anybody to go out side of balcony.. The Westin is a great place to stay!! It's located on the quiet end of the riverwalk and has a great view. It's close (maybe 3 blocks) from the Riverwalk mall and abt 3 or 4 miles from the Alamo. Staff was quite courteous and helpful (esp with directions). Recommend self parking. (Valet parking $30.00 a night) Also there is a great little corner bar […] called Drinks that is less than a block away. The Chart house resturant at the Towers of Amer is fantastic and a must!! COMFORT AT THE WESTIN IS UNMATCHED THEIR PLUSH LINENS AND LARGE BEDS PROVIDE THE BEST COMFORT. THE LOCATIONS IS WONDERFULL. RIGHT ON THE RIVER WALF WITH THE ALAMO AND OTHER ATRACTIONS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE IT IS NOT ON A BUSY PART OF THE RIVER. ONLY DOWN SIDES TO THIS HOTEL IS THAT THEY REALY OVERCHARGE FOR THINGS THAT OUGHT TO BE INCLUDED OR AT LEAST […] DISCOUNTED FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY FOR THE ROOM. EX. VALET PARKING AND WIFI WERE OVERPRICED. ALSO THE WALL ARE NOT WELL INSULATED AND YOU ARE NOT FREE TO ENJOY YOUR ROOM TO THE FULLEST. It is on the Riverwalk, but just far enough from the "main restaurant and bar area" so that you are not bothered by the noise at night. A lovely hotel with wonderful surroundings.
