Bardzo polecam hotel rodzinom z dziećmi duze przestronne apartamenty, mnóstwo miejsca, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, dodatkowo pralka i suszarka która z małymi dziećmi może bardzo się przydać. Dobra lokalizacja jesli chodzi o dostępność do parków rozrywki, wpoblizu tez dwa fajne outlety. Jedyną bardzo słabą strona hotelu są śniadania, typowo amerykańskie, tylko mufiny, tosty dżem, płatki z mlekiem po 6 dniach miałam naprawdę dość. Mimo wszystko chętnie tam wrócę.

Pokój a właściwie mieszkanie ogromne, czysto, obsługa bardzo miła. Szkoda, że byłem tylko 5 dni, nie mogłem skorzystać ze wszystkich możliwości jakie dawał hotel.

"Great place to stay!"
We got a really great rate for a 3 night stay! The room was really clean, but the beds were very hard. We spent 3 days straight at parks so we were so tired we didn't really care, though! The breakfast buffet had a good amount of items, but kinda tasted like cafeteria food (besides the made to order omelets). Not sure it was worth the extra money. Probably […] would've rather gone to Dennys or something. We did use the free transportation to the park which was right on time and very convenient! The 18 hole mini golf was fun, but we had to rake away a lot of leaves in order to play. The staff were all very very nice, though and seemed like they truly cared about the guests. If you're looking for world class amenities, this is not the place for you. If you want a clean comfortable room reasonably priced, and close to Disney as well as other attractions in the Orlando area then try this place. I was able to check in early and get to my room. Because we were meeting up with family and busy all day we needed a clean and convenient place to sleep. This was perfect and you can't beat the price. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was our second visit so this is now our go to place. Great to have the refrigerator in the room, too.

This place is huge! The beds were totally clean and comfortable, however the pillows were a bit flat. The bathroom was clean except for a bit of mold in the corner of the vent. I'm pretty sure I was the only one in my party to notice it. At first I was a bit upset, mold sux, but it is Florida and it was just a small sprinkle of blackness, so I cleaned […] it off with a clorox wipe and felt better. The shuttle is useless if you are trying to get to DW when it opens. I think it only runs every 2 hours... totally useless. We rented a car and it only took 5 minutes to the entrance of DW. "Good deal for the $."
The room was standard size, even a little bigger than a Disney standard room. Furnishings were standard hotel. Towels were thin; was given 3 bath towels, 2 handtowels and only 1 washcloth for 3 people. Could have asked for more though. Did ask for more blankets. Course not fancy but was fun with the right amount of challenges. Very close to Disney. Would like to see them add more times to their shuttle service for the parks. "MLR"
Overall not bad. Restaurant was OK; coffee pot in room didn't work, but we were only there overnight, so not too big of a deal. Great room & helpful staff. Will stay again sometime!

It's a very good room for the price. The room was clean and comfortable. The first receptionist who checked me in was not what I would call friendly but the receptionist that checked me out was very helpful and quite friendly. "Enjoyed my stay"
I stay there at least 30 days a year. I think it is a wonderful hotel especially if you are family orientated. I think the one negative is they need to improve on the quality of the breakfeast buffet it is rather expensive and the food and coffee is cheap. I will still stay there everytime I am in Orlando. I feel at home there plus the sizzler down […] the street has a great breakfeast and it is 3 dollars cheaper. "What I expected"
Bottom line- you get what you pay for at this hotel. My wife and I stayed here when I ran the Disney Half Marathon in Jan. I wanted somewhere close to Epcot that allowed pets, as we have two dogs that we did not want to board. This hotel was great for these two purposes, proximity to the parks, and not charging an arm and a leg to have your pet stay. […] Every other hotel in Orlando by Disney charges an exorbitant amount to bring your pet, in addition to the obligatory "resort fee" that every place charges by merely adding the word "resort" to their name. Apparently, by merely having a pool at your establishment, means you can use the label resort in Orlando. This place also has such a fee, and by no means fulfills the meaning of the word in my mind of what a resort should be, but the fee was nominal. I was content with the experience in that the room was clean and functional and I didn't pay a lot of money for a room I wasn't going to be in for the whole day or for my dogs to stay there. In a tourist destination like Orlando, where every hotel throws in a bunch of extra charges for nearly everything that most hotels have and one never has to pay for otherwise, this hotel was very reasonable in that regard. "Main Gate Lakeside not what it appears"
Pictures look great on website however hotel looks run down. Room was not like the picture. Thin sheets no blanket. Phone didn't work no internet... called earlier to get infant crib said one would be there. Got there and they needed to check if one was available. Only saving grace was we were at disney the whole time and only needed to sleep there

Older hotel...clean but no microwave and most guests had the same problem with the door to your room...you have to be a gorilla to get into the room from the outside and to even open the door from the inside to let someone in. Not enough staff at the front desk for check in or check out. Overall a okay place to stay if you just need to sleep.

"Maingate East Resort-Convenient to Disney"
This hotel was inexpensive and decently clean except for our bathroom which had visible mildew on the door of the bathroom and smelled of mold and mildew. Yuck. Other than that, the front desk clerks were nice and helpful, the concierge was friendly and helpful, and best of all, we were about an 8 minute drive to all the Disney parks. There is a Walgreens […] practically in the parking lot of the hotel, which is very convenient for picking up sundries. Additionally, the hotel is close to major chain restaurants. "Never again!"
At the beginning it was pretty good. After I took a shower the rug in the room started to show signs of a leak. I told the front desk. They came and nothing was done. Imagine getting up from your bed to find a soak carpet and it kept getting worse. They offer to move to a new room two hours before our checkout.

dirty towels were still in the bathrooms. The tub was not cleaned when we arrived. I complained to management (day and night). Stayed only 1 day, thank goodness!! I will never again stay at any hotel that says maingate again.

From reading the reviews I expected a lot more and in a better area of town. If I was here beyond a night I would have probably cancelled my reservation and gone somewhere else.

"Not bad but not great"
It is an interesting place, with restaurants around and a walgreens just next to it. If you are there to go the parks not the closest place, but could do with the shuttle. Make sure you have everything you need for you and the kids if you have some, because you will not be able to come back till dawn. Affordable, no breakfast in the morning. Very conveniant. Everything you would need right on location. So easy to get to the highway. Plenty of entertainment for the entire family with many pools and other recreation available. Rooms are good size and beds are comfortable and clean. Thank you for making our stay in Florida affordable.

This was a good hotel for a stay if you are going to Disney. We just stayed one night because we were staying at a Disney resort but are seriously considering staying at the Maingate on our next trip to the Orlando area. The hotel has restraunts on sight. The only issues we had were the beds were a little on the small side and the bathroom was dated […] but clean. This may have been a three star in a former life, but now is pretty run down.
The room was neat and clean. The mini golf course was very old and dated. There weren't enough towels in the room and had to request more each day. There was a hotel resort fee that was due upon check-in 0that wasn't disclosed when i booked the room. The Pizza Hut Express was very over priced as well. "Great and Clean!!!"
This hotel was very clean and nice. It is in a great location. It's close to places to eat and stores and it actually takes less time to get to Disney than if you stay on property. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. It is a great value for the price.

The hotel is nice and is located in a good area however: About 30 minutes after our arrival, the water to all the buildings was not working for some reason, this prevented me from going out the night we arrived in town as I had been traveling the whole day and I needed to shower. It did come back on about an hour or two later. The internet was out of […] service from Saturday to Monday (length of my stay) And also, housekeeping came and cleaned our room which was nice, but they did not leave any towels, so I had to go to the front desk and request some... they did come in 15 minutes hot and fresh, however I thought this was unacceptable. The good part is that they did waive the resort fee due to the problems that are stated above. If none of this had occurred I would recommend this place, but I don't think I will return. "Best Room Ive had"
I LOVED this hotel!! It was clean and conveniently located for my needs. The staff were helpful and friendly, the place was beautiful and when I needed assistance with anything in the 4 nights I was there, I had it! I definitely would recommend this hotel!!
