Wasn't the newest place, and the hot breakfast needs work (true of any chain), but the king suite was nice and big, and the fitness facility was great. Overall great stay.

Not much of a view, but large, comfortable rooms which include refrigerator, microwave and king size bed. The staff is friendly an the location ic convenient to UVM and Burlington..

I was very impressed with the gentleman at check in. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed at the hotel. The beds are very comfortable but the room was dated. The shower curtain in the bathroom had mold stains on the lower part and the shower head looked dirty and dated. We had a king suite which was very roomy. Breakfast is included in […] the cost of the room which I look for when booking a hotel. It is close to the downtown area and shopping. It was in a quiet area but a little hard to find. The sign is on the main road but the hotel is on the side road behind the Holiday Inn. They don't have a pool but you can use the one in the Holiday Inn. Even though the shower curtain was stained, and the shower head dirty and dated, I would still recommend this hotel as the bed is the most important thing to me and that was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. I business travel and I have stayed in a lot of hotels so I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5. New shower curtains and new shower heads would be a good idea. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast offered fresh fruit-which is excellent. The rate was very advisable. Easy access from the highway. Lots. Of food options nearby.

Cost was very affordable, particularly in light of the 3-night stay. Receiving this discount made the difference and drove the decision to stay -special kudos for the free breakfast. That was the icing on the cake and the food was good quality. Keep this up!!

Very good room size and set up. Would be improved if living rm. and bedroom could be separated in case one person wanted to sleep and the other wanted to stay up and read or watch TV without disturbing the sleeping person. Clean room, aged, could use an update and a few plates and silverware in kitchen area, couch sinks way down when you sit on it, […] and is hard to get up from, but comfortable enough when sitting in it, but overall a very good vaue for the cost. Breakfast was on the good side with a good variety of choices including hot food like; scrambled eggs and waffles from mix you cook yourself. Didn't use the pool or exercise rm. but still was pleased with overall experience. The bed had somewhat of a pillow top but was firm. Would have prefered a little softer ,but I know some people like a firm mattress. I would return because of the value compared to negatives. However, be warned about the restaurant in front of the hotel. Food was overpriced, oversalted and not good. atmosphere and wait staff were good, but we were hoping for a good meal and both of us were disapointed with the food, from appetizer to main course. hotel was good for what we booked it for. 1 night. wouldnt stay any longer than that. room was dated along with structure. was noisy also considering the room was next to the stairs. staff was friendly and continental breakfast was nothing to brag about.

Excellent place, clean and spacious rooms with all facilities. Great for a family with young kids. And of course the break fast was great.

We asked for a suite expecting a wall separating the bedroom from the living room. There was no wall, I was told it is "studio style." We had a 2 night reservation but our keys stopped working after one day and our room was never cleaned. Very expensive for what you get. They do offer a great breakfast service.

The room we were given was very small and was in a little side hall by the elevator. Every time the elevator door opened or closed we heard the ding of the bell. Also, the stairs were right beside us and so if someone used the stairs we heard the slamming of the door. The continental breakfast was probably the worst one I have had in a while. The eggs […] were so salty I couldn't eat them and the bread tasted stale. The woman who was stocking the food was very rude and surly to customers. While I didn't have any direct interaction with her I heard her rude comments and saw her general disgusted attitude if anyone questioned her about anything. When someone questioned her about the brand name of the waffle batter that was used she said "I don't have time to look. Do you want to go in the storeroom if it's that important to you?" She then came out with a package of the mix and threw it, and I literally mean threw it, on the table where the person was sitting. This person would not be an employee of mine for even one minute. The hotel was in a convenient area. It would be an ideal place to take kids as the rooms are huge and there is a kitchenette area. There is also breakfast provided. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I normally stay at the new residence in in colchester but it was booked during this visit. There is nothing wrong with the comfort suites but it is not on par with the colchester residence inn

I liked the hotel. They do advertise that they have an indoor pool though and fitness center but the pool and fitness center is actually next door at the Holiday Inn.

Great overnight stay. I spent considerable time on the Internet reviewing various hotels and motels. Notwithstanding that the Internet always has the worst of stories, the reviews for some of the two- and three- star hotels and motels weren't encouraging. Well- this place was just fine. Two things of note: The curtain near our bed didn't allow the heavier curtain to get pulled in front of it. We wondered if people could see in, but discovered the next morning that it was a one-way curtain so people couldn't look in. Great hotel and great value! We were in the area looking at colleges and the hotel was in a convenient location for us. The front desk was very helpful with directions and just generally very friendly. The only reason I didn't rate superb for the quality of staff was the woman who was cleaning in the breakfast area and maintaining the food there woke […] up on the wrong side of the bed. I stayed with my four children in a suite, and it was terrific. Most important, they thought so too, which is paramount to any parent's enjoyment of the vacation. The free breakfast was a nice perk.

Great hotel! Very comfortable, warm and welcoming lobby area with especially helpful reception. Got upgraded to an even nicer and more spacious room since the hotel was not busy. Wish I could have stayed longer.
