"Fiesta 2012"
My Fiance and I were extremely satisfied with our stay here. It was in walking distance of EVERYTHING. Especially loved the fact that NIOSA was right across the street from our hotel. Only down side was the parking. If we wanted to get out of downtown for the night we would be lucky to find a parking spot in the hotel parking lot or the overflow lot […] when we returned. "Fiesta night out."
Close to Fiesta activities, walking distance to Riverwalk. Over all a very pleasant stay. One issue that I question is being charged for parking on hotel lot. The price was half of what lots were charging; however, it seemed petty for such a large chain.

Overall it was good. The toilets are outdated and do not flush properly.

I really liked the hotel so did.my kids but one thing just.didnt go dwn right the hotel parking wuz to high and breakfast at the hotel wuz around $11.00$ a bit to much if u ask me which you did everything else wuz great.

Our stay overall was great. We had a small snaffoo third day in when I pulled my sheets back and found a small jumping bug. Not sure what it was, but we alerted the hotel and they immediately switched us to a different room. I felt like the hotel was up-to-date and clean. If you don't mind walking this is an ideal hotel. "Extremely clean"
This was an extremely clean room with many comforts. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is about a four block walk to the riverwalk but about an 8 or 9 block walk to the alamo.
Just a short walk to the Riverwalk at a fraction of the price.

hotel was good,serval staff members very nice,only one staff member was a little rude i didnt get her name but she was working tuesday evening had curling hair and wore glasses,i think she needs to attend hosiptality classes so she can work on her friendly attitude.but other than that hotel was fine,good location too.
"Not the Room I Booked"
If not for not getting the room I booked I might have ranked this hotel a bit higher. Nevertheless, I was not comfortable in the room. I booked two rooms with two queens bed in each room and one room with a King bed for my wife and I. When I got to the hotel, the clerk provided me with the key cards to each room. When I went into our room, I noticed […] that it also had two queen beds. I called my friends who informed they had their correct rooms. I then contacted the front desk and spoke with the clerk and informed her that my room had been a mistake because I did not get the King Bed. She responded that since I booked my reservation via Hotels.com the room is not guaranteed. I was very surprised at her reply and not to mention the fact the hotel also charged me (A Guest) a parking fee. I have stayed at several hotels and booked them via hotels.com and this is the first time I don't get the room I booked and I was charged a parking fee. The hotel is within 5 mins walking distance to the riverwalk. It located in a good area of downtown (didn't worry about my car at all). It's very nicely decorated inside. We had a double bed w/ living area room...it was gorgeous and confortable. I love the complimentary robe and slippers. Having two TVs in the room and free internet was a plus. The […] continental breakfast (for additional cost) was delicious and kept fresh. The only thing I complained about was the parking lot. There is like 30 parking spots in the front of the hotel and the remaining spots were across the street (in which the lady in the front desk said to be sure to "remove all personal items, just in case"). Within a couple of easily walked blocks to everything in downtown San Antonio. The room was nice and very large. When we kept having problems with our electronic key, they gave us two coupons for a free breakfast. Overall, a very nice experience for the price.

I had an enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly and the location was perfect. The room was very nice and clean. Loved the flat screen tvs in the bedroom and sitting area. I wish I could have stayed another night. I will be returning to stay the next time i'm in san antonio

Hotel was only a block and a half from riverwalk...hotel was nice and clean..for the price I would stay there again...downside not a lot of parking
When my son tried to plug in his ohone charger, a huge and terifying spark flew out of the socket and we lost power in the hotel room! Could not blow dry my hair or get properly dressed in the dark. I took picture and described our issue to the front desk and they took the 12.00 parking fee off my bill. Really, I was not wanting anything for free but […] 12.00 when my son could have been really hurt? "Not as close to the river walk"
Parking was horrible and you have to pay 16 dollars and when you come back from out in the town not enough parking for all the guest. For the cost breakfast should have been included. Wished it was closer to the river walk because area around not the greatest for walking to dinner. I would stay closer to the river walk next time and pay a little more […] for convenience. We got the King room with the sitting area, it was very nice and perfect for our family of three. The sitting area is the first room when you enter and has a couch and TV. Was great that there were 2 TV's, one for the kiddo and one for us in the master. "How about a smile?"
I am a pretty jovial kind of guy. I appreciate others that go out of their way to say hello and look me in the eye and smile. I had read the reviews on this property and knew that I would have to pay for parking. On this particular trip, my wife and I arrived at different times in separate cars. I asked if there was a deal we could work out for parking. […] In return I got a borderline rude "No." Again, I wasn't expecting free, but knock a few bucks off the $16/night to help a customer out. Even if you couldn't, at least be nice about it. This lady must have been having a bad day, but when you are the face of the property, your bad day ends up in a review on that property. On top of that there a limited spaces on the fenced in property. If you don't get one of those spots, you have to park in the dirt lot next door which is not fenced in and thus doesn't "scream" secure. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I have had this situation come up before and had no problems working out a reasonable deal. Other than that, the room, lobby, amenities were all a great value.
