"convenient midpoint on trip"
Not bad, friendly, helpful hotel staff. No elevator a big concern. But beds were clean and comfortable. Although hotel is convenient to major highways, need detailed directions because of the confusing way Hwy. 70 West splits at the I-85 interchange near the hotel.

clean sheets would have been nice. Something was spilled on the bed spread and it was left on for the next two days. we were there three nights and slept in the same sheets and bedspread. If you take a shower and then sleep in dirty sheets. Why take a shower.

"Good motel"
Staff could be a lil more knowledgeable of surroundings area as well as friendlier. Breakfast needed to be serviced more often food was low. No bath towels in room. room was clean , stairs was only way up good thing we didnt have alot of luggage!

I was given a handicap room that was next to the middle entrance of the building, where the outside smoking area was, people were also smoking inside the doorway. Needless to say my room smelled like a smokers room. If you put this aside and just focused on the room, the bed so uncomfortable that I could hardly walk when I woke up. "Days Inns, selma"
The hotel was located very close to the highway, great for an overnight stay while traveling. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was adequate and reasonably priced. The breakfast was an added bonus.

Aging hotel however the price reflects. Good value for what you pay for but I would rather pay an extra $20 for added quality and service. Also place not locatable using Garman GPS! Would stay in Smithfield next time closer to outlets. Nicer area and more convenient.

"Very nice for the price"
Staff was very friendly and attentive. We asked for extra pillows and towels, and got them immediately. The room was very clean. Located within easy access to outlets and interstate, yet relatively quiet without too much traffic or noise from highway. The breakfast buffet was a nice surprise with choice of hot food as well as the traditional items served […] in a continental breakfast. The hotel was older, therefore it didn't seem as nice as some of the others I had stayed in. My room appeared to be clean - but it was missing an outlet cover behind one of the nightstands. It did have a microwave and mini-fridge, but the freezer in the mini fridge must have had 6 inhes of ice in it - but it still kept my refrigerated food cold. I come to this hotel all the time. This trip however, bothered me some due to the lack of space in our particular restroom. Friendly staff, clean room, breakfast was more than I expected :) Typically you have the choice of cereal and fruit and they had many choices. My family and I were very happy with our stay. It was a pleasent experience and would stay again if the area. :)

Accomodations were spacious, clean. Breakfast was excellent. Only negative I had....no elevator, just stairs to 2nd floor.

Yes it is true. A few years back this hotel was Holiday Inn and it was horrible. I mean, horrible. I did not have bath towel in my room and none of the house keeping staff spoke English. front desk's reply was "no clean towel now" So, Naturally Holiday Inn took their name away. I am very sure, same owner trying out with Days Inn chain this time around. […] I had bath towel in the room but alarm clock was broke and so two of the outlets in the room. "PRICE WAS RIGHT"
The price was great, but did support the overall rating. Maintenance needs to be improved. Freezer was so iced over that I could not put but one of my two ice packs I needed too. The entrance door to the room needed to be repaired to close easier without hard pushing. Okay travel hotel. Had to move rooms due to electrical outlets not working. Front desk service wasn't the most pleasant. Room was also just okay, would not swim in there pool. It was extremly cloudy.

The address on line was actually not the address of hotel and I had much confusion when I put the address into GPS. Very Annoying.

TV didn't work, light bulb burnt out never replaced. Service desk kept saying I can't do anything about all that. Housekeeper didn't speak English. NASTY place to stay.

This hotel was a great price, was very clean and had great service. The room bedding was extremely comfortable. All in all, great stay for our stop over on our way to Florida. Would def stay there again!
