All staff was friendly, courteous & helpful. Gave us a toothbrush when my boyfriend had forgotten his. Everything about the room was really clean except a little hair in the blowdryer but that's ok I brought my own. "Great Breakfast"
The hotel was very up to date and clean. We have stayed in the louisville area several times and this was by far the cleanest most modern hotel for half of the cost of the hotels in KY. And the best hotel breakfast we have ever had.

"great winter getaway"
nice curteous people, very good comp. breakfast every morning,,clean rooms ,,very nice large indoor pool area,waffle house next door and subway in motel ...wouldn't have to leave premises everything you need is in walking distance.

This place his spent a lot of money upgrading the facility. It's very nice, free breakfast includes eggs, bacon, etc, free coffee in rooms, huge channel selection on TV, indoor pool, fitness room and close to Horseshoe Casino. Highly recommended.

This place is fine usually the Hampton Inn across the street is less expensive. This trip Holiday Express was less cost. Either is fine to stay at. This place has a better breakfast as far as choices
"Truly a nice hotel"
The bed was better than my sleep comfort at home. Clean hotel, great staff, food was average but certainly no reason to steer clear. I will stay here the next time I visit New Albant!
It was alright! The hall carpets were VERY spotted and dirty. We only had regular antenna channels! Which they advertise cable channels. Then we had to call 3 times to get someone to help or even give an answer why. However the room was clean and the people were pretty friendly!

not their fault, but I would call for alternate...I was 1 block off the exist that was closed, and ended up driving about 10 miles out of my way. Exit may be closed for up to 2 years due to crack in bridge or ramp.

I had one of the most wonderful experiences ever. The staff was EXCEPTIONALLY nice to us. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. The breakfast buffet was AWESOME. The food was clean and good. Blaine, Tina and Sarah were so wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to everybody!!!!

Internet went out and was still not uo 36 hours later. May be time to look for a different provider. Everything else was fine
"Not bad, not great."
The TV channel setup was very irritating, but I don't know if they can do much to fix that. The morning breakfast was plentiful, but I wish they didn't put cheese in all the eggs. The wired Internet and power was easier to access than most hotels to that was nice. It was also a relatively close walk to the downtown to find a restaurant.
I only wish there was an assortment of fresh fruit for breakfast...

Older hotel but completely refurbished. Has a Subway and Dominos Pizza right inside. Free full hot breakfast buffet (not just muffins and waffles). Great location just a few miles from Horseshoe casino and right across the river from Louisville, KY. I'd stay there again and have.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and good price. Not much around the area.

I stayed here for business, and it was fine, other than a broken water pipe in the lobby bathroom that left water everywhere and I fell in it. Hard to believe no one knew about it. "GREAT for the rate and for visiting Horseshoe"
The hotel was a little older than expected, but was nice overall. Staff was WONDERFUL! I've stayed at 4-star hotels with staff that wasn't this nice! Our room was nice & clean but noise from the hallway made it a bit loud on occasion. Breakfast was a step-up from most competitors. Conveniently located to Louisville (across bridge) & the Horseshoe Casino […] (10 minutes +/-). I would definitely stay there again. I stayed here for three days. The location was convenient to where I needed to go. The room was comfortable and had everything I required. My only pet peeve is the bathroom floors of hotels - why can't housekeeping scan for hair???? It makes me queasy to see the previous occupant's hair on the floor. The hotel staff was great and very friendly and helpful. The location was very close to the wedding venue that we were attending. Shopping was relatively close. Free wifi worked very well. Nights were quiet, but the hotel also seemed to be mostly empty. The only complaint was with the condition of the room, specifically the bathroom. "The internet didn't work, they didn't know why, but the pool is nice"
The hotel location is not to pay for, as well as the room size, view and facilities. I did take the room because the internet was for free, yet - it didn't work... I couldn't read my e-mails, work or watch stream video.

In all of my travels and journeys staying in hotels I have never had an experience like this--a horrible one! The bathroom was not clean--and they did not clean it any better while I was staying in the room. The "high speed" internet was the equivalence of a hamster on one of those spinning exercise wheels--that is when it was not bumping you off repeatedly--at […] one point 3 times in a 10 minute span. To add to my wonderful experience my laptop got 22---yes I said 22 viruses from their wireless network. From there I went to the "Business Center" which consisted of 2 junky desks with a broken desk chair and a printer that did not work in a room that made you feel like meat in a meat locker. When I tried to contact the General Manager the best he could do was send up a housekeeper--he never even bothered to speak with me. The young lady at the front desk was more concerned about arguing with me then to try make my circumstances better.
