The people at the front desk were not very friendly. We had several issues during our stay. We arrive late, to a ice cube cold room. Our daughters had to go to bed right away because they had to get sleep for a dance competition the following day. The next morning, we let the front desk know that the room was ice cold..she said we should of called the […] night before. She did not seem to care or apologize then continued to say that she would send the manintenance up. The manintanence could not fix it .We then left for our early moring for dance comp..returned late again that evening to a sauna.]They did not apologize but informed me that the manintence would come up to fix it. When the mantenance said it was fix... i stopped him and told him I wanted to be sure and try it myself... suprisingly it was not fixed still... he said he would have to get a hold of the guy that did it during the day.... Alll this time our stay was interupted and uncomfortable. Hours later it was finally fixed.. The next morning on our departure... I went to the front desk to explain about my week-end ..we had the same lady as we had the first night..I explain about our stay... she told me because we booked with Hotels.com and it was prepaid there was nothing no discounts not very happy!!!! check in was great very pleasant and helpfull / the bar / restraunt needs to open more and not close at 2 pm till 5pm when check in at 3pm and u have to get ready for your venue by 7 the staff in the bar / restraunt was very rude / our room only had one mirror and it was in bathroom so if u need to get ready to go out u need to wait till the other person […] is done in the shower or what ever they are doing Przeczytaj więcej

I was very happy with the price and location? Room was nice? I would recommend that hotel for anyone who is on a budget.

Very good quality hotel, good beds with clean rooms, excellent breakfast. The two concerns I have were with the parking garage which was closed due to repairs, and the neighbourhood which, although central, is rundown and poor.

I didn't really explore the hotel or utilize its services because I was focusing on my business in Hamilton, but I enjoyed my room, which had a comfortable bed. The only significant issue (and it was significant) was the slow internet which did not allow me to access my email or get the documents I needed, so I had to resort to using my phone.

I signed up for something called a 'standard room' which was supposed to have 2 beds and one fold out couch. When I got to the hotel they said they don't have that room configuration. They gave us a cot at no extra charge so they dealt with it fairly. I would say that the 'standard room' option should not be available as an option when signing up for […] the hotel though. After realizing that commuting back and forth for a conference wasn't going to be feasible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quite. I'll be booking again for another conference in Hamilton next month.

Hotel was nice, clean and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there again, however, I do have 2 items that bring this hotel's standards down. The first being the bed: we asked for a king size bed and we got it. The only problem was that the mattress was soft and I kept rolling in from the edge all night. From the check in through our check out our experience in this hotel was extremely disappointing. It already started with the fact that the hotel shares its parking garage with a neighboring apartment building. The website did not tell about the extreme inconvenience of the garage. Not only was the exit ramp under construction which led to a weird two-way […] traffic control through the entry ramp, the parking spaces were small and maneuvering the car around the construction site was very challenging. However, the tiny parking spaces were nothing in comparison to the hotel rooms which apparently cater to hip Asian travelers who are used to cramp living spaces. the toilet was so close to the bathtub that we could only use it by sitting on it sideways. Because of the awkward design of the bathroom sink not even a 3rd of our toiletries fit on it. We traveled with a small child and their was practically no place for our son to play anywhere, but on the bed. Luckily, we didn't spend much time in the room. We had to use our room key every time we used the elevator and if someone used their key before us we had to travel with them to their floor before we could reach ours. Staff was snobbish, absent from the front desk during regular business hours and didn't even know the hotel's own facilities. We encountered maintenance people everywhere who were fixing things. Amazing hotel - superb staff, excellent room. However, Hamilton isn't the sort of place you really want to be in when the sun goes down!

A nice hotel, convenient location for the sights we wished to visit, however quite a busy area of the city, but not too noisey. Security features throughout hotel to ensure guests peace of mind. Staff very helpful, and polite. Swimming pool very quiet, and clean. Hot Breakfast quite satisfactory.

Upon arrival the front desk was far less than welcoming. During my stay I had trouble with my television and had to call down to front desk 4 times over a 2 hour time span just to have someone take a look at it. During these calls, I was treated with tremendous attitude. I was continuously told someone would be right up, and as time passed and I kept […] calling, no one came. Very poor response by hotel management to noisy occupants on the same floor we were staying on. Multiple calls to front desk, resulted in no decrease in noise levels. People were knocking on our room door until 4am. Hotel management only made calls to the noisy occupants, did not physically visit the floor.

Lovely spot. Clean, nicely appointed rooms. not very nice neighbourhood. Not a lot of NICE restaurants close for 2 females to walk to. Other (what used to be) top shelf hotels are abandoned and boarded up. Really unfortunate as this is a nice property.

The hotel and service were great. However, the security features were a bit much. Bridal party could not access the floor of the bride. Key card accessed own floor and public floors ie. Pool, restaurant, lobby.

I had a very nice stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Hamilton, ON.

I participated in the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer, and as much as I would have loved to stay at base camp at Mohawk College, I needed the pampering of a hotel! I was lucky to get the room in the first place, but boy sure am glad I did. The check in was a breeze (thanks Hotels.com) and with a quick elevator ride up to the 7th floor, I was at my room. The […] room was clean, spacious and generally quite functional. After 100 miles of biking, I wanted to get into the hot tub as fast as possible. This is where my only disappointment comes - the hot tub was huge, the only thing was that the air jets only sizzled some air...not the pressure you would come to expect. When I asked a maintenance man, he noted that they needed a new motor....I mean, you know you need a motor so replace the darn thing! Nonetheless, the warm water followed by a dozen or so laps of the pool and I was refreshed! I called in for a wake up call and asked for a cab for 5am and both to my surprise were right on time! We were put on the 1st floor, infront of the elevator, and down the hall from the fitness center and pool. Across from the Ice Machine, overlooking the main street. The noise and smells were coming at us from all sides. Not a pleasant experience!

The positives - Hotel was clean and a 10 minute drive from the race headquarters. Had a good pub with good food nearby. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was okay. Negatives - Unlike other places breakfast was not included, and was acceptable in taste. Was not happy to have to pay for parking. So there are 2 things that added 25-30 dollars to hotel […] price. The hotel had no sports channels except for TSN. It's a shame they never had sports net 1 or channels that showed the baseball games (Toronto ). I think a hotel of that stature should have a great sports network ie: sports net 1, sports net ontario, TSN, TSN2, Golf Channel and maybe even ESPN. The Crowne Plaza Hotel - Hamilton was an excellent stay! Just stopped in for an overnighter. Had a great time! Hotel was excellent. Big rooms, extremely clean! Excellent workout room and pool area. Will definitely stay here again. Great price as well! Parking was cheap and on-site. What a great deal!

had a good stay 2years ago, this time well, ear plugs were included for construction noise. tv had incredibly bad reception. maintenance person was helpful friendly, could not fix reception. For the 'discounted" rate I could have stayed elsewhere.

We had to move our room in the middle of the night because the AC was not working and it became very very hot. We were compensated with two breakfasts in the morning except there were three of us! Overall pretty clean, nice indoor pool, would not walk about after dark really as neighborhoods change quickly from one street to another, lots of different […] ethnic restaurants around to choose from ! まず到着しホテル玄関でタクシーから降りる際、荷物が沢山あったのだが、入口端にいるベルボーイらしきスタッフはただ座って見ているだけで知らん顔。朝食付きとの記載があったため予約したが、実際ホテルでは朝食はついていないと言われた。国際電話でホテルズドットコムへ連絡するもオペレーターと話すまでにかなり待たされた。ホテル側へ連絡してくれる事になり、話は解決した。ホテルズドットコムは朝食付きで予約してあるとの事。ホテル側はその内容は含まれていなかったとの事。この様な行き違いは初めてだった。この様なアクシデントの場合、日本との時差があるため24時間電話対応してくれる点はありがたかった。また早急にホテル側へ直接連絡をしてくれた点も助かった。部屋は特に欠点はないが、エレベーターそばの部屋で、しかもプールの行き […] 来の通り道。ホテルズドットコムが通常確保している部屋なのだろうか。若者たちが連日夜遅い時間も早朝も廊下を歩きながら大騒ぎ。安眠できるはずもなく過ごし、２日とも同じ状況だった。若者の宿泊客がやたらと多かったが、ここはいつもこうなのだろうか。宿泊者に対する配慮からホテル側からこのような客に対する注意はないのだろうか。立地に関しては、ホテルから徒歩圏内でのショッピング、飲食は可能。バスの交通網も盛んなため、利便性は良い。しかし決して綺麗な街ではない。更にホテル駐車場はコンクリートが汚れ清潔感はない。ランドリールームは場所が分かりにくかったが使いやすかった。近隣の情報はホテルスタッフが親切に教えてくれた。朝食は初日はブッフェだったが、2日目はオーダー形式だったので残念だった。トータル的には朝食付きか否かのミス、若者達の昼夜を問わずの騒ぎがなければ、可もなく不可もない適当なホテルだと思うが、ただ時期が悪かっただけなのか、いつもこうなのか疑問だ。 Przeczytaj więcej
