"skip this one..."
Beds are terrible. Hotel staff was even worse.
"Red Roof Inn, don't bother"
The staff here was rude and almost hostile. They have no amenities whatsoever. We were approached by the hotel work staff and my daughter felt intimidated. Please...don't stay here.

This place was a dump. The carpet was sticky and dirty the room had a horrible odor and the box spring appeared to have vomit on it. We left and went to another hotel and lost our money. Not very happy !!!
It is very close to my family, restaurants and shopping! It is ideal for us when we come to the area.

The room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was great...I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

"No more red roof for me."
This was my second time in a red roof, the first the night before in Cartsville. This one looked cleaner until we turned back covers on the bed closest to the washroom and found a bunch of crumbs in a circle, I suspect folks from the previous stay used that bed to rest something on then turned the sheets back with housekeeping not doing a thorough check.. […] We called the front desk who brought a change of sheets promptly to us... The balance of things were clean, not great but light years ahead of the last stay. I learned that a full bed is not a queen either.. No microwave, no fridge, the tv was crappy too, picture quality was fuzzy and sound was not very adjustable for quiet. The heating in this room had no auto function, it was either on and too hot (despite turning to the lowest heat setting) so I would turn on when it was too cold and shut off when it was too hot (it was a very cold and windy night even for a Canadian!). No breakfast at this location but parking lot shared with a Bob Evans, parking area well lit, felt safe. This concludes my last time at a red roof! Przeczytaj więcej

No trash can in room, Ice machine near our room was broken. When we checked in, we were not informed about checkout time, we had to ask. Also, we were not told location of ice machines/vending area either.

Decent hotel for the price. Never could find a balance with the thermostat....either cold or hot. The clerk that works second shift is lazy and rude. He never acknowledged guests as they walked in he never got out of his chair and it seemed like we was bothering him.

I stay at this location very often, I use online booking for convenience and ease of payment. Upon booking I know what style of room I am paying for. For the price, I have a decent room with all that I need for a good nights rest. Internet is a bit on the slow side but I have can use my phone and complete my business without a hitch. "I would never go back"
Aside from no closed captions on the TV, missing light bulb over the desk and horrible TV reception which is starting to be the norm in hotels, I was eaten alive by bedbugs. I don't mean a couple of bites but rather so covered I required a doctor visit. It appears I react badly to them and lets just say it turned out to be a very bad experience.

Checking In, the clerk seemed bothered by my presence. He was entering info in the computer and never said "I'll be right with you" or anything. Never even got out of his chair the entire time. When checking ID for verification of reservation, he laughed. Never said another word, gave me the key with the room number card. The room never would get cool […] enough. When checking out, I happened to walk in the lobby when the desk clerk was walking out for her break (I assume) and when she saw me she rolled her eyes. The room was very clean. I usually have trouble sleeping in strange places but the king-size bed & pillow were perfect for my very hard-to-please sleeping environment requirements. The staff who I encountered in the front office & housekeeping were very helpful & accommodating to my unexpected stay @ that hotel. "Comfy, value, location"
This place doesn't look like much on the outside, but the rooms are new looking and comfortable. Great value for your dollar. Easy access to Dayton and miamisburg mall.

This was the first time I have ever stayed at a Red Roof Inn. I was very impressed with the service and cleanliness of the room! I even had a "turn-down" service! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
"Not animal friendly"
If you travel with a dog, realize there is no green spaces available for you dog. The room itself was nice. The handicap ramp goes from half-way down the building back up to the office, then the room are supposedly all the way back down the building. Very tough for someone who uses a walker.

"meh"
The good: It was clean, cheap(ish) and recently renovated. The bad: It was tiny, the staff was rude, the A/C could not adequately handle the weather, and it wasn't really all that comfortable.
"Too expensive for a motel"
This was our first time staying at a Red Roof Inn and I do not think it was worth the money we paid for. We got the expanded room which was supposed to be bigger with more amenities, but it was in fact smaller than some of the standard rooms i have stayed in at nicer hotels. I do not like how the room to the door opens out to the parking lot and was […] rather scared that someone might break into our room at night. The room was somewhat clean, but the bathroom was so small. The bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The tv was old and had patchy reception. "Better than Rated"
This hotel and room is better than the past ratings indicate. If you are looking for a "no-frills" experience, then this hotel is a good deal! This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel and I will continue to stay there as long as it continues to have all of the same offerings (reasonable price, clean room and well-maintained).

Room was adequate for the money, located in what appeared to be a good neighborhood with easy access to return to the interstate.

"No frills room, but fine for one night"
No complaints about the room or property. The hotel clientele was different than other places we've stayed. There were one or two rooms of partying kids, which I didn't care to deal with. Thankfully, our room was not near it. I think this sort of lodging is perfect for the single traveler or couple w/o kids. We had kids traveling with us and missed […] the continental breakfast that comes at other hotels--not a huge detractor.
