The room was very cozy and clean, it was a little small. I enjoyed my stay overall!

Cheap hotel; you get what you pay for. Staff was nice but they made lots of errors. Multiple times, there were people trying to get into my room. They had been given the wrong room number by the staff. It's extremely disturbing and frightening to have thug-like groups trying to get into your room at 2 or 3 in the morning while you are sleeping. Throughout […] the night, there would be all kinds of vehicles entering and leaving the parking lot with their radios blasting. It's easy to suspect that there was illegal activities and transactions occurring. Because of these experiences, I feared for my safety throughout the stay. For peace of mind, I packed my bags and carried them with me if I ever left the hotel to go somewhere else, even for a quick dinner. Covenient location for my needs. Bed was hard, probably because it was new. Room wasn't cleaned every day which actually was nice. That meant no one was in my room while I was out for the day. "Crossland refused to give us extra towels"
I checked in with 2 adults guest and by the end of the night my nephew had came to see me. He ended up spending the night with us. In the morning we asked for a set of towels for him and they flat out refused to give us extra towels saying its against the rules. They suggested that one person take a shower and bring the used towels to the front desk […] and then they will give us another set. "DISGUSTING!"
After reading all the reviews, I felt confident in booking my 5 night stay there. After arriving, I realized I had to buzz to be checked in. Also, arriving well after the check in time, around 8pm, I didn't expect to have to move two big bags of garbage that were placed right in front of my door. I have had better, much better stays!

"will do in a pinch"
The room was clean but it was missing some of the dinner ware no plates at all. The curtain had small holes throught out and there was trash at all the stairways just stacked up and over flowing just nasty.

the rooms are very small, the bathrooms are very small but like they say you get what you pay for. good neighborhood but it really is a stop by night kind of place.

the hotel was very drafty and cold. had to stuff my clothes under door and around the windows to stop cold air from coming in.

The bed was fine and the room was clean, although it had a disagreeable musty odor on check-in that finally went away after running the HVAC fan for some time. Very reasonable price for the area. It's set up for longer term stays with kitchenette and dishes. There was a coffee maker but no coffee! Would be nice to get at least one packet for that first […] morning or for travelers like me who are only staying one night. The hotel Crossland in Livonia MI have prices and comfort that are reasonable. Everything is within walking distance and the staff is very friendly.
