"Clean but no Thrills room"
room was clean but no thrills cheep room. Hotel itself could use some TLC with maintenance and updating.

"Happy with our stay"
We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield in Albany. Very close to everything we wanted and we loved the pool and spa. Would have liked a microwave and refridgerator in our room though. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.
"Short but very good stay"
We only stayed overnight, but it was exactly what we needed. Thank God the pool was open when we arrived on Saturday (it had been closed for repair) so my 3 young children could go swimming. I picked the hotel primarily because of the pool option because this is a real treat for my kids. The manager was very kind in understanding my concern and tried […] very hard to accommodate us. Thankfully it was open so we were able to swim on Saturday and Sunday. The kids loved it. The breakfast option was nice too. Can't beat complimentary when it comes to a family of 5. "Good room but..."
We had a room reserved for SUNY Albany graduation weekend. Everything was great except for the fact that the room had no refrigerator so any dinner leftovers had to go back to the car to stay cold.

This is the second time we stayed at this particular property. It is very convenient to the roads that lead to my family that live in the area. The over-all rating of this hotel is practically perfect...nothing is perfect! We will continue to use this property as our base when we visit family in Albany. You absolutely cannot go wrong staying here.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Even though I was told they couldn't guarantee a cot there was one waiting in the room upon my arrival. When I called the front desk for more towels they were delivered within minutes!

"our salvation"
We originally booked a hotel through another online service that turned out to be an absolute dump. We did not get what we had requested and while the other service agreed to issue us a refund - they did not offer to find us another room. We were 100's of miles away from home and knew no one. "SUNY Albany Fairfield Inn - Works For Me"
Complete basic, clean and trustworthy, the SUNY Fairfield Inn just gives you what you need. We enjoyed the simple pool and woke up for some free Cocoa Puffs and coffee. My only issue is that it's a bit too expensive for what you get. I would have gone with the hotel that was only a few more dollars a night if I had known it was so basic. But that's […] just me. "Convenient to SUNY Albany"
Friendly staff. The room was clean. Very close to SUNY Albany - within walking distance of the main campus. Bed was too soft and the ventilation was noisy.
"Needs improvement"
It rained in my room! Hotel is old and needs a new roof - was up from 5 a.m. with leaks! Not happy
"A little dirty"
The hotel is obviously used a lot. My room had some papers and other small debris on the carpet which showed me it was not vacuumed. I like a clean room other many other aspects.

"Great for our overnight stay, loved the pool..."
We stayed on a long road trip. Initial room had a problem that was corrected in minutes, with excellent service. The pool was awesome, my kids loved it. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that we arrived towards the end of breakfast to find they had no fruit products of any sort, but other than that a nice breakfast.

Correct. Besoin de renouveau dans les chambres (ex. bureau vieux etc.) Aucun frigidaire dans la chambre alors qu'on m'avait dit que oui. Je suis allé dans d'autres hotel Fairfield qui sont mieux que celui là. Un peu décue.
