I would recomend this hotel. It is quite good location to visit White House and other attractions.

"Not the worst ever, but lots of better options"
Was not my favorite. Staff were nice enough, but place was just kind of dingy. Had no shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom (I asked at the counter and they gave it to me, but still), the a/c unit was ridiculously loud (it would cut on and off all night and when turning on made a loud grinding noise) and breakfast was basically non-existent. It was like […] coffee and toast and that's about it. Only plus side is close location to some fast food/restaurants (I walked there), which makes it easy if you're on business. "Smoke filled"
The hotel is set up so non-smoking rooms are on one side of the hall and smoking on other side so it doesn't matter if you request non smoking- the whole palce reeks. Rooms are dated and in need of upgrade. Was a bad experience. Only bright spot was the staff was extremely nice.
"ok til i tried to shower"
Everything was ok til I went for a shower the next morning. The shower curtain was a mix of filth and dirt. I was shocked and got out asap makin sure my skin didn't touch the curtain. Creepy. This was an emergency and last room within 12 miles from Dulles. Should have rented a car and driven 12 miles.
Not "fully" equipt kitchen, no stove, little utensals, missing cutains, rotten wood in bath, pool hours different than what signs say, other than these rest met what we paid for.
Overpriced for what it offers. They charged $5 for "free" internet access and the "free breakfast" consisted of coffee and a packaged bagel.
"Not so Deluxe"
The hotel has deluxe in the name. That is the only place you will find deluxe. For the money I guess it was ok.

Decent, not great but a cheap room to stay. If you don't mind gross feeling carpets it's your place to stay. Other than that everything else was marginally O.K. But at the price, you really can't beat it.

"Cramped room"
The room did have a queen bed, sofa and kitchenette but it was extremely cramped...had to go single file from door to bathroom to snake around bed. No vent fan for bathroom. Also have to pay extra if you want internet access. Building in desperate need of freshing up.

Friendly check-in staff. The hotel itself is very old. I would not stay there again.

The staff was very helpful, the room was very nice for the price, and the location was great. Not far from the city and close to dozens of food venues. The bed was more firm than I like it, but still pretty comfortable.
"Not bad for the price"
Booked 2 rooms - smoking and non-smoking. One room was hot and stuffy upon arrival - the A/C was off, but the room cooled down after about 20 minutes. Otherwise no complaints. "NO CUSTOMER SERVICE"
Upon arrival, I asked to check in a little early. As a business traveler, this is often important. The on duty hotel agent would not let me check in until 1:00 pm, although rooms were vacant and ready. He simply sat at his desk until 1:00 pm, then stood up, and stated that my room was now ready. There was no reason for this delay, and it set a bad tone […] for the rest of my stay. Check out was no different. On my last day, I went to the front desk to see the same hotel agent sitting and using a computer. He told me to wait while he finished what he was doing. This took approximately ten minutes. Again, there was no reason for this delay. I am a big fan of customer service, and I feel that I did not receive good customer service. I travel and stay in hotels every week. I use different hotel chains depending on where in the country I stay at. This was my first experience with this hotel chain and it was a negative one. The room was OK, the location was OK, but the attitude of the hotel representative was not positive. I was forced to sit in the parking lot and work on paperwork in my vehicle. He could have let me swim at the pool until 1:00 pm. He could have done anyting different, but it was obvious that there was a general lack of concern. As a result of this experience, I will not use this hotel chain again. This cost the entire hotel chain my business. Also, I am taking the time to tell someone about this. I am sure that there are other customers that simply will not use the hotel again. I would terminate this employee if he worked for me. My policy is, if you cost me business, you can't stay. "Extended Stay Deluxe DC/Chantilly"
Great location - just seconds from major highways. Ok surroundings - highway on one side, storage and office facilities on the other. Several fast food restaurants across the road. Hotel corridors, stairs and elevators were clean. The room was dingy though. It was also small - probably ok for 1 person, but not for a family of 4 with two little kids. […] The sleeper sofa was placed right by the ac unit, so we had to block the cold air from our kids, who were sleeping on the sofa. Also, this hotel serves free breakfast on weekdays, but not on weekends, which was a little disappointing to us, since for about the same rate we could get a room with free breakfast. "3 rooms, all very satisfactory"
My family was in northern Virginia for a funeral. We had three roooms in this facility and all three were great. Hotel was clean, comfy and convenient. Very nice. I would stay there again.

Hotel was okay. I didn't appreciate being asked where I was going while in town. The desk attandant says the question is required by the "management".

I was asked who my employer is and where am I going. I had to ask the desk attendant why do you need to know that? I'm traveling on leisure". he stated "management wants this" as he's tying my answers into the computer. I told him to have his management call me in the morning. "Will never stay at an Extended Stay Deluxe again - ever!"
Pool dirty every day - don't believe it was ever skimmed. Full trash bags in hallways for days at a time. No maintenance available on weekend, had to plunge stopped toilet myself. "Acceptable hotel"
Affordable hotel, in a comfortable enough room, but in the middle of a corporate plaza with no food or shopping within close walking distance. If you're looking for a place to stay for longer than a 2 nights, the stove, refrigerator and kitchen sink could be nice, but certainly wasn't the ideal hotel for a business trip.
