"Somewhat near the Denver airport"
For being an airport hotel, it was still nearly ten miles away. To be somewhat fair, there isn't a lot near DIA. The dinner we had at the hotel was the worst restaurant meal we have EVER had. It was terrible. Steak was cold, potato under cooked, veggies over cooked, wine oxidized, etc. Truly awful all around. Our flight was canceled due to weather so […] we missed the first night we planned to be there. Not the hotels fault, but they still charged us for the night. The room had an awful chemical smell. The bed desperately needs to be replaced as it sinks in on both sides! The sheets were stained and did not properly fit the bed so they continued to pull up. The king mattress was very hard and you could feel the sinkholes where the mattress sank in from where people have slept over time. When was the last time that mattress had been turned or replaced. The staff are excellent, the room was clean. The sleep number bed was a little funny. The BIG ISSUE, the walls are as thin as paper! At 1am we had our neighbors talking next door and you could hear them as plane as if they were next to you! "G&L on Tour"
The hotel was excellent - probably further from the airport than we realised. The shuttle bus was ok for the transfers both ways. The breakfast was good. No complaints at all about the service.
