The staff at the Candlewood Suites in Plano went way out of their way to assist us. One of the members of our group has a vision problem that requires bright lights. They went out and bought extra lamps to put in her room so she could see better without any of us asking them to do so. They were so gracious about this and everything else we needed. This hotel would of been ok but they were in the middle of construction so we did not have any water from 9:00am - 5:00pm every day I stayed there. I've never experienced that and was pretty annoyed by the inconvenience. If I would of been made aware of that, I would of stayed somewhere else.

very nice, clean , easy to get to and wonderful friendly employees

I was a little disappointed by the condition of the hotel considering the area it is in.

Could here everyone walking by in the hallway outside my door, and the morning coffee was terrible, but it was clean, and comfortable. Front desk lady was very pleasant, and friendly and made me smile after I drove 658 miles! Would stay again.

We were scheduled to stay 3 nights at Candlewood, but end up leaving after the 2nd night. When we arrived, there was a sticky stain on the carpet. I complained to the front desk attendant, and he said he would come clean it. He didn't show up. Later that night, we actually say a bed bug crawling on one of hotel pillows. That caused us to not have a […] good night sleep at all. The next morning, I complained to the GM and he immediately moved us to another room. He was very accommodating and apologized for our 1st night disaster. The sofa in the 2nd room was stained and I actually found food under the sofa after further inspection. We were disgusted and left. the next day. It was one of the most inexpensive hotels we found in the area, but I would rather pay a little more for a good experience and a good nights sleep. My stay was not very good. I was here on business. The best thing about this hotel is the location to where I needed to be. Upon check in i got a smoking room - I requested non-smoking but they were sold out. The whole 3rd floor smells like smoke as some people that were there had their door open smoking. When I got to my room neither key worked. The […] front desk person gave me new one and thoes were fine. The overall room was fine. The next day I requested a non-smoking room and got one. This room was bad!! I should have stayed in the smoking room. The TV and cable did not work, remote did not have batteries that worked, the floor in the kitchen was a little sticky, the shower did not work - the head and faucet were covered in calcium build up. I had to take a bath while sitting on towels. The alarm clock which I did not use/touch went off at midnight, I was able to turn it off but that should be something that should be checked and removed after someone checks out. Przeczytaj więcej

All was great except the speed of the internet which was very slow.

Check-in and check-out were fast and hassle free. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and nicely furnished. Sheets were soft, bed comfortable, thick towels, and all for a reasonable price. This is an extended stay hotel with no daily maid service and no frills which suited me perfectly.

This hotel was in the perfect location. Neighborhood was excellent. So nice. The room was awesome for just the 3 of us. And they had a snack room for food and stuff down the hall. So we didn't have to go search around the town. loved it will def go back when we're in that area.

Clean and comfortable

Very friendly staff, kid friendly, offer movies for you to choose from which my kids loved, free laundry service, clean hotel.

We absolutely LOVED the very helpful front desk staff that was always friendly and ready to provide assistance with directions, etc. The 24 hour fitness center that we had access to during our stay was so MUCH better than just a small pool that most hotels would have offered. Since we were there for the Regional soccer tournament over four days, we […] were able to save money by eating in for breakfasts and lunches because of the full size refrigerator, stove and microwave. We also took full advantage of the free washers and dryers available to hotel guests. Laundry baskets were even provided in each room. Never before have we seen that in any other type of hotel! Three drawbacks: 1. the lack of ease in being able to keep both the bedroom and the main rooms at a comfortable temperature. If the bedroom was cool, the other room was FREEZING. We finally figured out to cover the vent in the main room to try to force more air into the bedroom. 2. Roaches that we killed during the first day and night of our stay. When mentioned to the front desk, they did send the maintenance man up to spray and we didn't encounter any more, it was just not a great way to start out our stay. 3. The computer and printer only worked for a brief amount of time on the first day we arrived. The remainder of the time, there was no printing available except through the front desk. They were ABSOLUTELY helpful in any way and even went WAY out of their way to assist us in being able to purchase and print out tickets to Six Flags. We had a laptop with us, but were unable to access the internet using the connection downstairs and print anything there. The so-called "high speed" access was VERY slow in the room but at least we were able to get the connection. One more thing to note, don't expect luxurious towels here. They resemble the look of spa towels but to us were VERY rough. They were a decent size but just not comfortable.
