We stay in the hotel becuase we need it a room that offer us a kitchenet it was great.. it have evething I need it to cook my daughter special diet food before we when to seaseame street park (15 minutes ride ). However we where surprise that the hotel did not offer two bed in the room When we ask to be chance we were told the hotel does not offer two […] bed in any room l and they do have some room whi a extra sofa bed but they were occupied already. The washroom wich had a very strong cigarrett smell did not have a hair dryer however was specious and renovated.. I was happy about that. For the purpose of using the kitchen... was great.... Thank you. We will recomended to singles or couples, smokers, economic buget travelers. They hotel has a good work out room which is not mention in any of the rewiew I read prior to arriving. att. We stayed at this hotel on St. Patrick's Day due to its location near some friends. Check in was quick. The hotel was in the middle of remodeling, so tarps were in quite a few places. Our room was clean and we were happy with the size and accommodations for the price we paid. We would be happy to stay again.

There was an eyelash and makeup on the pillow and some dried blood on the sheets. Really nasty.

Renovations were currently being done at the site however, the hotel exceeded our expectations especially with the price of the room. Will be staying again.

Good size rooms , but some noise because of the renovations. need more towels and washcloths would be nice.

After reading reviews I wasn't sure i wanted to stay at this hotel, but I booked it any way. I was GLAD I did. The suite was very very nice. When we checked into the room, the beds were not made up prooperly and there were someone elses clothes inside of the dresser drawer. We were moved to another room but never received room service to get new linen. I wa not at all satisfied with hotel and i will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone. Hotel was under construction while we were there but that was no bother at all they finished each day at a reasonable hour and the room was a lot for the money very satisfied!!!!! Will definitely stay here anytime I am in the area

We checked into the hotel with my 3 young children and was told that the only rooms they had were smoking..... I have 1 boy who is asthmatic. It was very hard to sleep in the room. We were leaving the next day and smelled pot on the floor, leaving the parking lot and there was a strippers sign on her car...... not impressed.

This was a one-night stay and I was relieved that it was. The heater made this loud noise and came on and off several times an hour. It was so loud that it caused me to jump each time it came on. And when I finally was able to tune it out and fall asleep, we received TWO wake-up calls before 7 am on a Saturday, althought we never scheduled one.

I was extremely happy with the place itself, but I would not want to use hotel.com to book again. We were told that we could get a better rate if we called in and confirmed a few days earlier. When we did that, we were told that hotel.com took the order and the hotel itself could not assist us with that issue. We ended up paying $10 more per night than […] we needed to. I stayed at the hotel for only 1 night but I would go back again! The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. My boyfriend ended up forgetting a few things and the CVS was not so far away. Candlewood Suites of Willow Grove is located in an office park a couple turns away from where you'd normally expect a hotel. Positive aspects: my room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the rate was relatively low for the area. Main negative aspect: I heard a lot of sound/conversations from the neighboring room. Though the hotel staff did prove to be helpful, at first glance they appear to be very disinterested in their jobs and not very approachable. Therefore the initial atmosphere of the hotel was pretty dry and stagnant. My biggest issue with the hotel was the smell. The room smelled of must the entire time that we were there. It was gross. The people did not bother us in any way, but I got the strange feeling that these people were not residents of the hotel, and simply loitering around vehicles. We arrived early after an overnight flight from California, and checked with front office about room being available earlier. Desk attendant rudely sais checkin was at 3PM. My wife asked again if she could check and attendant again very rudely and without moving from her chair said "checkin isn't until 3PM" We took a little catnap in the parking lot […] and observed the crew had plenty of time to smoke at front door of business, but not enough time or customer service skills to check with housekeeping. THe only complaint is that the bed was not comfortable.

Our stay at this Candlewood was excellent. The rooms were clean and well stocked, and the staff was great. The hotel is located in an industrial park. This is good because, there were no people in the parking lot that did not belong, Our vehicles were safe. Basically, the hoteL suited our needs however, the fact that the bathroom fan went on with the light and there was no way to just have the light alone I found very disturbing especially for those who get up in the night.

I would like to thank the Hotel Staff, they were great, especially that no local maps were available, they got me where I need to go. Thanks to all of them.

Front desk had serious issues processing incoming and exit data. I'm still waiting for an acknowledgement that the $25 "holding fee" had been refunded. There were residual smoker smells in the closet.

I requested a "No Smoking" room, which of course is a request that can not be guaranteed. Since I arrived after 8 pm, there was no other room to move me to, so I suffered thru. I ran the AC at maximum to try to cleans the air, but with little effect. When I returned home I had to wash the clothes I did not wear because even though they were left in […] my travel bag they still reaked of smoke. no wireless connection, no hotel biz center,.... Internet was by Ethernet only, so i was camping , in that dept. Kind of made the in-room office thing not work for me. otherwise.... fine. tho a frig , a.c. and nightlights into a room , one should bring one's exedrin p,m, ... clean and secure, no traffic... I will go back, when needed

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived everything was clean and organized the small kitchen area was well stocked with utensils and dishes, the air conditioning unit was quiet and comfortable the view was pretty, over looking a small lake, I was very pleased for the price that I paid, it was worth it, the only downside was the guest who were upstairs […] from me, they were heavy footed , meaning they walked hard and I could here there loud footsteps. but it was not that often, so you should asked for a room on the top floor. I was given a smoking room. I was told that I reserved a smoking room, but nothing on my confirmation conveyed that. There were no other rooms available in the hotel or immediate vicinity. Lets just say, if you smoke you will like this hotel. If not, avoid it.

This hotel was very clean and a nice room the only issue is that, since it is an extended stay SMOKING IS ALLOWED. This for me was an issue since I have asthma and allergies. The first floor is all non smoking but the smoke from the other floors is so strong I could smell it in my room all weekend long. Smoke free room smelled of smoke, and the ceiling mounted smoke alarm 'chirped' all night.

We chose this hotel because of price and proximity to my son's home. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Very satisfied both stays.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. That is a big plus for me! I also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere the hotel provided. There was not a lot of noise or commotion; which made my time in the room very peaceful and nice. I loved the laundry facility and snack store. My two main complaints are minor, but can turn into a bigger issue if not addressed. […] The room and hallways smelled like smoke. This is not good, especially when it's a "smoke-free" environment. The only problem we had was at check-in. Apparently, some guest decided to same longer then their reservations. So they did not have enough room for us. They were going to send us to another hotel. I was not real happy with this because I was tried and did not want to do more driving and I did not know anything about the new hotel (even if the clerk […] said it was like theirs). But another person was at the desk and she had order a room with twin beds (because she was traveling with her 25 year old son) but got a room with a queen. The hotel Candlewood Suites in Pennsylvania is centrally located yet manages to be out of the hustle and bustle of its surroundings. It is clean and well kept, with friendly, helpful staff.

Room was very nice. The honor system pantry was well stocked with food, beverages and other items.

even though the reviews had been generally good we were still pleasantly surprised with the room. didnt expect the dishwasher or the waste disposal unit - or the full size fridge-freezer! everything we needed for our 5 night stay. the location is a bit out of the way but this made for very quiet nights - the surrounding gardens are nice. Our first room was pretty dirty with trash in the trash can and hairs in the bed and trash on the floor. Went to front desk and they changed our room right away with no hassle. Second room had some small pieces of paper on the floor but the rest of the room was clean. The room was very large and the bed was very very soft and comfortable. Hotel is in a business complex, was there on a weekend did see many other hotel patrons. Picked this place because it was cheap and only needed 1 night. Checking in was a piece of cake, he directed us to an easier entrance to our room than the front. My fiance says she could smell a hint of smoke in the room, I could a little bit and I'm pretty sensitive […] about it but after turning on the heat it was fine. Only a Queen bed, wished we had a King. The room and bathroom was clean, had a standard size fridge, sink, stove, microwave but we did not need to use. We came there late so not sure about places to eat. They do not provide breakfast and it may be a 5-10 min drive to find something. Shades blocked out sunlight if needed, little noisy can hear the cars start in the morning but not very noticeable. Overall I would choose this place based on location and price. The hotel is not dirty or anything bad like that it is just very old felling and should have major updates made to it. Staff was nice. I have stayed at similar hotels and hotel chains and they have all felt newer including the other Candlewood Suites I have stayed at.
