Room was great. It was very clean and no visible damage to any amenities. The room had free movie channels and good bathroom products. The breakfast was adequate and they delivered a copy of USA Today. The hotel was located next to another hotel and RV sales lot so the view wasn't great. We were in town to see a show at the Rialto and stayed overnight at the Wingate. For the price, very nice hotel. Room was clean. The service was very good. Bed was comfortable. We were only about 10 minutes from the theater and essentially on the same road. The free internet was nice and allowed us to find a good restaurant online. The only complaint, […] and someone else had mentioned it in the reviews I read about the hotel was that there was a barking dog during the night. I believe it is a guard dog at the manufacturing building behind the hotel. If you can, get a room that looks out over the front of the hotel. You shouldn't be able to hear the dog from there. "Stayed for Race @ Rt. 66"
Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Was there on a crowded weekend. Looked like about 25 high school baseball players every morning at breakfast that just wreaked havoc on the breakfast bar. There were partiers there too, but never heard them once in the room. Can't hold that against them. Close to everything in Joliet on Jefferson(Hwy 52) and Larkin. […] 10 minutes from RT. 66 Raceway. Well, we didn't know the hotel was next to an RV dealership and the interstate. So, that was a big let down. Our "view" from our room was of both, and so the shades remained closed during our whole stay. It also isn't very close to the downtown area which is a big disappointment. "Great place for a business trip"
I got in at 11:30 after a long snow filled drive from Milwaukee. The hotel was very convenient for my destination and the night shift manager was there to help with whatever I needed. I'm already booked for another trip there and will stay there anytime I can.

We were traveling along I-80 West and had reserved this hotel some time before. It was farther up I-55 than I thought, so it was not convenient if you are traveling I-80. Check in was uneventful, but when we opened the door to our room it was like opening an oven. The room was extremely hot, as the heat was on highest setting on high fan. It took hours […] to get the room comfortable. The edges of the wood furniture pieces were worn and not what I expected from a Wyndham property. The breakfast was pretty good, with the waffles being outstanding and the biscuits being soft and delicious. When we went to check out there was no one at the desk. There was a sign and a phone to call someone for assistance. The person who answered the phone turned out to be a gentleman coming in the front door wearing a trenchcoat. We checked in late in the evening and the front desk clerk was very friendly and checked us in our room right away. The hotel was very clean, our beds were very comfortable with the high quality sheets and pillows. Great breakfast every morning with waffles, pancakes, sausage, biscuits & gravy, yogurt or cereal. We didn't arrive until about midnight, but the clerk who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. His pleasant demeanor was refreshing after a long day of traveling. The room was fine - nothing fancy, but certainly nothing wrong with it either. We didn't really take advantage of the amenities, but if we were staying longer the microwave & fridge […] would have been handy. The breakfast was better than I expected. Again, it wasn't extravagant, but it was nice to see brand-name cereals instead of generics. And there were eggs, pancakes and waffles to choose from, as well as fruits and yogurt. "Good Hotel for Business Travel"
Friendly, helpful staff. Minor problems with room were addressed right away. Wireless Internet bogged down at certain times of the day, slowing download speeds. Location was right near I-55 and I-80. A lot of construciton in area, esp on Highways.Pool / Spa clean - open late (11 PM) which was really nice. Continental Breakfast pretty good.

"Great local hotel"
You will not go wrong at this Joliet hotel. Its close to the interstate and has plenty of restaurants to choose from the area. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the AC was really quite for a wall unit. Breakfast choices and quality is better than most complimentary breakfasts.

We came in late on a Friday evening and check in was easy ..The staff is friendly and helpful..the room temperature was great..air conditioner was just right..Breakfast had everything from: cereal, bagels, waffles, sausage gravy/biscuits and eggs..awesome breakfast..priced very reasonably..

Everything about the hotel fit our needs for a few days of peace and quiet. Breakfast was good including several hot items. Only problem was the exercise room which was unusable because of problems with machines and air-conditioning.

"worth a visit"
We were visitors to Illinois doing part of the old Route 66 and found this first stop on our journey most enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and accommodation acceptable for what we paid. Breakfast we found very good and would definitely recommend it to others.

A great choice for us. It is not too far off 80. Reasonably priced with a pool and a breakfast buffet. Clean and great service. We will definitely be staying there again as we travel from Iowa to Pennsylvania.

This was our first stay at this hotel. We were very glad we chose it. The staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful. The room was really well done- decor and amenities were a cut above. Many restaurants were close with a wide variety within 10 minutes.

Very nice hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Well lighted parking and easy access to shopping and food. Easy off highway location. Very nice and clean rooms.

Everything was great about this hotel except the check-in time was not until 3pm. Also found it hard to get breakfast right away because employees were helping themselves instead of letting the customers go through first. This caused there to be little or nothing of a few things offered. The hotel room and swimming pool were very nice and clean.

Overall the hotell was nice, it's apperance was good, the rooms were very nice, the only negative comment is there weere bugs in my room each night of my stay, I don't how or where they come from, but I killed one each night, a half inch beetle appeared late in the night flying around in the room.

My husband and I stay 5 days in a doulbe queen. Our room had a micro wave, fridge, iron, ironing board and blow dryer. Staff was very courtious, I left my hotel key in the car and wanted to swim, desk clerk gave me a new key. Breakfast was a plus. Bed not as comfy as my temerpedic. And when it comes to clean we owened a janitorial business for 9yrs, […] I am preaty picky, only a few things that I thought could been cleaned better. But over all for the money we enjoyed our stay. Was woke up by the maid the first morning, we checked in late and wanted to sleep in and forgot to hang the DO NOT DISTURB sign. Rooms were quite and cool. I would recomend this hotel for your stay. I was extremely impressed with this hotel. We stayed two nights and ate breakfast both mornings. Better complimentary breakfast than we have had at higher priced hotels. Everything was clean and the pool area was perfect. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit our friends!!!

The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and updated with great amenaties. The pool and hot tub areas were excellent. The continental breakfast served each morning included hot food items as well as cold choices and was better than expected. We would stay here again in a second!
