Oceniony przez gościa grupy Hotels.com w dniu sie 16, 2012Comfortable, spacy accomodation. One block from Publix, two blocks from huge outlet mall, short drive to Disney parks with no traffic. Pools on the small size but never too busy and well kept. Excelent value for money. If you wish to use their shuttle to Disney (saves $14 parking fee) be aware you need to sign in a day before for a specified time. Ask for an apartment facing the water, floors 3rd and up.

Dobra lokalizacja jesli chodzi o dostępność do parków rozrywki, wpoblizu tez dwa fajne outlety. Jedyną bardzo słabą strona hotelu są śniadania, typowo amerykańskie, tylko mufiny, tosty dżem, płatki z mlekiem po 6 dniach miałam naprawdę dość. Mimo wszystko chętnie tam wrócę.

Very nice hotel.The room was clean and we were allowed to check into our room early. excellent location to visit Universal Studios. My only complaint was the quality of the included breakfast. I worried that for the price, the hotel would be a dive. It turned out great! The rooms was clean and was perfect for our 2-night stay. The wi-fi was a plus. It would be great if they could provide some gluten-free breakfast choices -- everything was muffins/waffles, even the cereals were wheat based. Good welcome at reception on check in - staff generally very helpful and cheery. Room was very spacious but could have done with a thorough clean in 'out of sight' areas I.e., behind and under bed, sofa etc., (lots of fluff). Bathroom spacious and good shower, housekeeping good. Bed reasonably comfortable but awful pillows which I was told on check […] out were about to be replaced and not before time. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and re-stocked regularly - often needed to keep ahead of guests thinking it was acceptable to make up their packed lunches before leaving for the day! this was just an OK place to stay. When booking it, we thought it was much closer to Universal Studios and we thought we could walk. I would like to address each item that you have mentioned in your review. Our location in regards to Universal Studios is approximately ½-1 mile from the front Gate. We offer a complimentary shuttle as you know that will take you over to the park. It is run by Universal so we have no input into the times of pickup and return. Many guests on warm days use the option to walk to the park. I have not had any complaints on the walk. It usually on a normal pace walk takes about 15-20 minutes, with a water taxi ride to the main gate. Our location also gives our guests access to about 100 restaurants within a 5 mile radius. If you had asked for recommendation of nicer places to dine, my front desk staff has a lot of information, all nationalities etc. We also have little complimentary cards for items at some of the best restaurants in the area. Where do i start, checking in to hotel a customer arguing with reception and i am checking out and i find myself doing the same staff looks friendly until you have a problem, like, no internet in the rooms, call the reception multiple times no answer, go down and get screamed at by receptionist because "everyone is asking the same question enough is […] enough" was the exact words of the staff member, breakfast was most disapointing, when things finish they did not get refilled just finished, when you asked why answer was "earlier there was it must have finished" really? "Nice stay but hotel needs some maintenance"
I used to stay at the Wingate 6 and 7 years ago on trips to Orlando. For a number of reasons I hadn't been back until this past trip in Jan 13. Hotels.com was running a 25% off special and I remember the hotel as being nice, reasonably quiet, and a step above some others, so I booked it. They still offered a reasonable breakfast with some fruit, juice, […] waffles, psuedo-eggs, sausage patties, muffins/toast, two choices of cereal, and coffee/tea. The indoor hot tub was functional and clean, but the fitness room equipment was mostly not working and badly needed upkeep. The room was large and clean with refrigerator and microwave, but the sink didn't have a stopper and had been recoated with the coating now peeling off. Heat/air conditioning unit was noisy, but did work. TV was a flat screen and was the bright spot in the room. "Awesome location"
It was a little noisey in the hallways until about 11pm. We didn't complain, though. The location was excellent for us. We didn't have to deal with International Drive traffic. Nice and clean rooms.
