Położenie blisko Watford Junction sprawia, że tylko dwie minuty zajmuje spacer, po którym możemy być już w pociągu jadącym do Londynu, pod warunkiem że korzystamy z serwisu Midline, bo London Overground to już dłuższa bajka, ale szybki pociąg pozwoli być w London Euston za 20 minut i pociągi kursują dość często. Jedynym minusem hotelu było u nas mało urozmaicone śniadanie, a właściwie wciąż to samo menu, które przy trzecim posiłku nieco nam zmierzło - kto w PL je fasolkę na śniadanie? Podsumowując obiekt spełnia kryteria przedstawione w ofercie i jesteśmy zadowoleni.

I picked this hotel because it was a reasonable rate, and in a central location. The staff were nice, and the room was clean, but it was also very shabby, and the bathroom had a serious mold problem. I stayed in March (not a warm month in the UK) and was amazed that the heating was only on for a few hours a day. I wouldn't use it again.

Of course, hotel needs in renovation, especially rooms, but is still good, best for value!

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. If we have additional choice like "hard" pillow, it will be perfect. Currently the pillows are too soft. Overall, the staff are friendly.

The hotel is very near to Paddington Station, making it really convenient to get anywhere in London on the underground network. Yet, the hotel is located in a very quiet, leafy square so there was no disruption due to noise. The room was a reasonable size and although relatively basic it was adequate, clean and comfortable. "Don´t stay here!!!!"
This was not good, the rooms are dirty and feels nasty, the peoples working there are not serviceminded at all..... Its near too central London and thats the only plus!

I guess it's value for money for a central location such as paddington but the hotel was generally in a bad condition. The rooms were clean but in need of renovation. I would suggest that this is a good place if you are only looking to crash after a night out but not if you have to spend some time in the hotel!

If your an American and traveling to the UK and need to stay in London, get ready as their star rating is no where near our star rating....I have been doing this for over 20 years and it always amazes me that 3 star in the UK is 1 star here....knowing that you will be safe
"Convenient Hotel"
The hotel is in a really great location. It is right around the corner from Paddington station and done the street from Hyde park. It is an older hotel and a touch on the small side, but the staff is very charming.
Small and expensive - bathroom that an eight year old couldn't fit to dry themselves in after a shower.

Do not use this hotel if you are staying over before or after flying from Heathrow and have heavy luggage with you. The only good thing about this hotel is the friendly staff. After that it's not worth the price as there are better hotels around the area for cheaper. We booked this hotel as from the pictures, the rooms looked large and clean. Also […] there's a lift so we would not have to shift our luggage upstairs. What we discovered after checking in was that the lift is tiny and could only just fit us in with our luggage. Once we got to our floor (number 2), we found the corridors to be incredibly narrow and dark, whats more our room was up a further very narrow and poorly lit flight of stairs with no access via a lift so I had to move our heavy luggage up them. Exactly the opposite of why we'd chosen this hotel. The room was small and grotty, the bed was very uncomfortable with rough blankets. The curtains had holes in them. The room had a very old TV that appeared to be a relic from the late 80s. The bathroom had a toilet in a dark corner with no light. The bathroom ceiling had damp marks all over it. The bath was OK but the shower was very low, poorly positioned and with no adjustable shower head. Anyone over five foot 7 would not be able to use the shower. The breakfast was expensive considering the limited choices available i.e. bread roles, croissants and cereal. No toast. The hotel was spotless and the staff extremely courteous. I've stayed in a few of the hotels in and around this location, and this was the best. It was quiet, the bed comfortable, and as a result I got a good night's sleep. I would have expected it to be more expensive too, as elsewhere in Paddington I've paid considerable more for much less. "Great Hotel and"
Free wi-fi was advertised online for the lobby area. The wi-fi did not work; and myself and several guests complained for several days. They did nothing. Further, I asked to speak to a manager -- and they told me that there was not a manager to speak to over the course of the entire weekend! Then, when I checked out, they had the nerve to say that […] I owed 5.00 for a breakfast. To make matters even more laughable, the minimum visa purchase was 10.00 -- and since I didn't have any cash, they suggested that I just pay 10.00 on my visa to cover my 5.00 breakfast expense!! This is after I had complained all weekend about the wi-fi not working. I laughed and walked out the door without presenting my visa card. "Ya pay for what you get"
Ya get what you pay for here.Staff are not one bit helpful & are extremly rude. Rooms are very musty. Found it really hard to breathe. Holes in the bed sheets. Curtains filthy.. Bathroom so so.. I stayed here jst as a place to sleep & it was central.If your looking for anything more than this. Stay else where

Helt greit hotell om man reiser for å ikke oppholde seg på rommet! Hotellet ligger veldig godt til i Paddington, hvor omgivelsene rundt var rolige.. Ingen forstyrret nattesøvn, for utenom litt lytte vegger.. Både underground og buss i gangavstand. Hotellets rom er nok det som faller litt ned.. Veldig slitte rom som godt kunne trenge en oppussing!

Vi boede 3 voksne på et 3 rum værelse. Der var okay plads. Vi skulle også kun sove. Vi boede der 2 nætter. Værelser og gange er meget slidte, men ikke utiltalende. Hotellet lå meget centralt ifht. undergrunden.

Det var generelt et godt hotel. Receptionen var rigtig flot. Man kunne godt se på gangene på de forskellige etager, at det var lidt slidt. Ialt i alt værelserne var udmærket. God service både i receptionen og ved morgenbuffet, som var rigtig fin. Hotellet ligger rigtig centralt. Er ikke bange for at anbefale dette hotel til andre.

Personnel très disponible, ascenseur. Comme beaucoup d'hôtels dans ce secteur, les couloirs et les chambres sont envahis par la moquette, ce qui laisse une impression pas forcément clean... Le bâtiment est vieux, mais entretenu. Bon rapport qualité, lieux, prix.

The entrance of the hotel promises more than it can deliver. The room we stayed in was awful, old and dirty. The curtains had tears in them, the carpet was dusty and cups had stains on them. Avsikten med vår resa var shopping teater och fotboll. Till dess syften är hotellet utmärkt med bra läge och nära till kommunikationer. Rummens kvalité var som alla andra 3-stjärniga hotell runt Paddington. Långa trånga korridorer, endel våningsplan nås inte med hiss och rummen är små utan utsikt. Hyffsade sängar och bra badrum. Hotellet lå perfekt gåafstand til madam tussaud, oxford street etc. Er man fan af at gå kan du faktisk gå til alt selv helt hen til liverpool street station. Hotellet var gammelt, trængte til en makeover, men der var rent, go service og man sov dejligt, trods lidt larm fra nabolaget. Men kan sagtens anbefales til et venindepar der BARE skal sove der. Sunkigt, slitet hotell. Filtar och överkast med fläckar. Vad som fanns i heltäckningsmattan vågar jag inte tänka på. Beläggningar i badkar och på blandare. Skitiga glas, en vattenkokare full med ingrott smuts...Trappsteg som var så slitna att de lutade neråt. Smala korridorer och många "branddörrar" är ju vanligt, men kändes sunkigt och instängt. Fräschaste […] platsen på hotellet var nog receptionen och personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Sänglinnet och frotten var det ända i rummet som kändes hyfsat fräscht. Men det räcker inte. Typiskt Londonhotell. Små rum, små toaletter, och så dessa heltäckningsmattor - burr! En enda liten hiss som man får vänta i tio minuter på att få åka. Personalen i lobbbyn verkade inte ha koll på så mycket när det gällde betalning, rum, frukost osv - men trevliga var de. Det bästa var frukost buffen - väl värt priset.

"Nettes, familienfreundliches Hotel"
Super Lage, direkt an der Ubahn, auf einem begrünten Square mit kleinem Spielplatz, ruhig und in netter Umgebung mit Pubs, Restaurants und Fastfoodketten gleich in der Nähe. Die Zimmer sind gut in Schuss und nicht ganz so winzig wie sonst oft in London, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. War mit einem Kleinkind unterwegs und es wurde […] alles getan, damit wir uns wohlfühlen. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: der Teppichboden im Zimmer hatte Flecken und war abgewetzt, das Bad könnte auch eine Modernisierung vertragen. Hotellet har en ypperlig beliggenhet i et relativt rolig strøk like ved Paddington Station. Ok lobby men resten er helt forferdelig. Trang heis, trange korridorer og uendelig med smale trapper. Vi fikk tildelt rom i 2. etasje på baksiden og ble anbefalt å ta heisen til 3. for så å gå trappene til 2. som var en mellometasje. Vi gikk en evighet og lette […] i trange, varme korridorer med et utall dører som skulle forseres med 2 kofferter. Rommet var knøttlite, altfor varmt og altfor bråkete, med ventilasjonsviften like utenfor vinduet. Badet var trangt og hadde løse gulvfliser. Vinduet kunne bare åpnes på gløtt.
