The staff needs to learn that a smile alone does not a good customer service experience make. When my key card was shut off, each day of my stay, requiring me to go downstairs with all my stuff and back up to my room a second time, EACH day, all I received was a smile and "here you go," when they handed me the refreshed key card. No apology for the […] inconvenience, not attempt to resolve the problem. Also, no one bothered to make up my room, so I had to actually request housekeeping services to which they smiled and said, "We'll take care of it!" No apology for the fact that it wasn't already done. The room looked clean on the surface, but the edges of the carpet had not been vacuumed in so long that they were white with dust and lint. There were hand prints on the mirrors and surfaces of all the furniture. There was even mildew growing on the shower head. The bed was like sleeping on a brick, and the pillows were old and lumpy.
