The hotel has no hot tub and a tiny pool. The room was very depressing and shabby. The carpet was so gross I kept my shoes on. Our room was on the third floor, and we never heard any noise from other rooms. It was a BIG room, and the bed was very comfy. There was a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was not luxurious, but had all the space and feature you need. I liked the tropical trees and shrubs around the motel, and the staff was friendly. My wife and I stayed a total of 10 days at this Quality Inn during our vacation in Santa Cruz and we found it to be a great location,easy access,close to the beach and local shops and department stores. The staff was accommodating and courteous and the room was comfortable and clean. We had a great stay.

King size bed-comfortable, Room was fairly large, couch in room, flat screen TV, fridge and microwave in room, heater-warmed up the room fast. The bathroom was in the back of the room, very clean. I was pleasantly surpised at the quality of service and the comfort of room. It was not fancy but well lit safe feeling and comfortable. I have paid far more for less quality accomidations.

the facility was run down place with dirty bath tub and a couple of broken electric outlets. Due to this I could either use fridge or microwave but not both.. also the bath tub was dirty when we arrived. overall it was okay for being a cheap hotel but for about $10 more you could find a lot better place with a lot better service

Lots of homeless near by. Carpet had iron marks on floor.

We were promptly helped and given all the information we requested. we were in need of a taxi and she had a number for the cab company for us that was there right away. The hotel was in easy walking distance of downtown and just a block from santa cruz diner, a great stop after bar hopping downtown.

This is an older hotel about 1mile from the Boardwalk. The rooms are old, but clean, with a mini frig and micro wave. The continental breakfast included make your own waffles and hard boiled eggs, but the breakfast room was tiny, as was the pool. On the plus side, the rooms are set back from the street and were quiet.

The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. In fact, we passed out and didn't wake again until morning, which is unusual to us when traveling. The only complaint I guess I could have is that the shower head was a bit hard to get cooperation from. It had a multi-function head, which is nice when trying to get the shampoo out of long hair...we […] couldn't get it to turn without a fight. But, after we won that fight, it was a very pleasant stay. We were traveling with another man that needed a street level room because of a disability. They accomodated him with no problems even though we hadn't requested it in advance. The managers were extremely nice and did their best to make us feel very welcome there. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. It was a cold night, so we turned on the wall heater and were quite toasty all night. Also, we were only a couple blocks away from Denny's so we went there for our breakfast even though they had coffee and pastries in the lobby. By the way- there is a little Mom and Pop icecream shop directly across the street from the hotel. Whatever you do, don't pass it up...very good!! And next door to it is a coffee shop too. Good location, short walk into town. Good diner, coffee shop and ice-cream parlour all nearby. Would recommend asking for a quiet room away from main road, we did - it was.

The carpet seemed dirty and the mattress needs to be replaced. The room seemed clean just an old building. The breakfast could have a little more to offer. Need bagels and chocolate milk.

While the Quality Inn Santa Cruz is conveniently located (to the highway, not the beaches), for the very average nature of the rooms you pay way more than they seem worth. Also, the neighborhood isn't the greatest. The day we stayed there a drunk woman had to be taken by ambulance from in front of the hotel, and then in the next ten minutes, the police […] were arresting someone from the hotel next door! Nothing to really complain about, but just a general vibe of not being particularly welcome. Saw some things that made me feel like this place will fleece you if they can get away with it. You can probably do much better, but acceptable if options are limited.

For a day or two stay at most, it's a decent hotel. Small hotel but if you don't plan on being there for more than a few days, it's a perfect place to stay. Comfortable beds, and close to everything in the area.

The rooms were nice and clean. Hotel in good location. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff were really friendly.

Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht; entgegen einer früheren Beurteilung sind die Zimmer sehr sauber und gross, mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht, einschliesslich Bügeleisen und Föhn. Hotel bom e bem localizado, próximo à Downtown e não muito longe das praias.

Good motel for a quick stop-over to see SC before moving on. Staff was friendly, free internet and parking and an ok selection for a quick free breakfast in the morning. Was a bit noisy in the evening (friday) but I think they were celebrating cinco de mayo weekend... Only a short car ride to the beach.

Abbastanza lontano dal piccolo centro di St.Cruz (circa 15min a piedi). E' un motel mediamente pulito, ma assolutamente senza pretese.

Helt OK för en natt, pool finns och 'budgetfrukost' ingår. (Det ligger ett Denny's några kvarter bort för den som vill ha riktig frukost till OK priser) Sängen var skön och AC'n funkade, badrummet var rent. Skulle bo här igen om jag var på genomresa.
