La Quinta Inn and Suites Orlando Convention Center - Orlando

The hotel is in need of management! It would have been a nice hotel if the upkeep had not been so bad. The doors were smudged with hand prints, so I started wiping them clean, the floors were gitty so I wiped them clean...made me a little concerned about the bed sheet because dog hair was sticking to my black sweat pants, I didn't bring a dog! The pool […] gate was literally hanging on one hinge and there was mold all over the deck! When I later went outside there was a guy waiting by the door he asked me if I wanted a coupon for something...I went about my business, and avoided meeting up with him again! The room was clean and quiet even though the hotel was sold out. The beds, however, were not comfortable.

The only negative is the toilets flush very loud! You can hear your neighbors (next to you & above) when they use the bathroom. Other than that it was a great hotel. Convenient location. Nice staff.

Stayed 3 nights. Close to everything but not on busy street. Mini golf next door was great for something fun to do as a family. Staff was very friendly. Heated pool a hit with our kids. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing missing was a bar in the lobby for my husband.

Bathrooms on the older side, and water pressure was on the weak side, but everything was very clean. Breakfast included make-your-own waffles, but breakfast area could get congested with families/kid groups (hello, this is Orlando--I was there on business) and doesn't open till 7. Very satisfied

Overall the hotel was great despite the weather. Great remote location if your visiting any of the Universal theme parks, Water Parks or Sea World or even the convention center. The only problem I had was the internet service did not want to cooperate. It was fine the first day we were there, but after that I had to plug in the internet cord into my […] laptop. We were travelling with our two kids, and our pets. Most of the hotels neglected to take our small parrot, whom wasnt noisy at all, because it was a parrot. At La Quinta they did accept ourselves plus our parrot, and the dogs were more than welcome, but at last minute they did not travel. For families that need to take their pets, this is the most convenient […] hotel and I will recommend it to you with no doubts. Great hotel for a great price. Near everything. Extremely clean and well kept. Large rooms. Comfy beds. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

We chose this hotel for it closeness to the convention center, not knowing that downtown would be crowded with attendees for the NBA All-star game. So it was lucky that what we wanted was nearby, because traffic was heavy. The room was large and well-laid out and comfortable. Stayed there for 3 nights. It was nice, quiet, decent breakfast (not great, but not bad at all). Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is great -- very close to convention center and Universal, as well as all the stuff on International Dr.

We were very impressed with this hotel. We are average every day people and this hotel was well priced, located and clean. We had what we needed. The staff was very nice but didnt bug us. Things were simple, room was great breakfast was very good. Will def be our new hotel to stay in as we enjoy our year long passes to Seaworld

The property was recently remodeled and the beds were very comfortable. Nice to have a flat screen I could plug my tablet into and view content from it. The staff was terrific, period! Way to go. It's a good walk (15-20 min) to the convention center and the Peabody. Glad our conference had buses lined up... GREAT value for the room rate!

Clean. Comfy bed. Great place to stay.

Upon arriving I was sent to the 7th floor with a hand full of luggage and bags. When i reached my room I opened the door and the room was a mess, never was cleaned. So i hauled everything back down to the lobby where I waited 15 minutes for a new room. Entered the hall way of the room to an overpowering smell of paint. Went into my room and some cleaning […] bottles were sitting next to the door, a lamp did not turn on. As it was late I went to bed and was awaked at 5:10 am by the phone ringing out of control, the only way I could get it to stop was to unplug it out of the wall. The hotel is in a great location. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good. The hotel is under construction currently. The bathroom seemed a little old.

Staff was friendly and helpful directing us to a very inexpensive shuttle from near the hotel directly to Sea World. Breakfast was very nice, although they need more seats. Hotel and room was clean and comfortable.

Best of all: Pet friendly & Breakfast included. Location is near International Drive. Excellent stay !!

Wonderful location, close to lots of restaurants, shopping, bars, the convention center and within minutes of theme parks. La Quinta is always a great value, but the rooms are all upgraded and put them in the same class as many hotels that are double the price. Overall stay was good at the reasonable price. The breakfast was good.

stayed here just for one night and the hotel is so nice. great location and awesome price! a trolley can take u where u need to go for only $1.25, the hotel staff was extremely pleasant & helpful. the room was big and wicked comfortable. would definately stay here again & recomend this hotel if your staying near the I-drive area.

The hotel is not wonderful, but is enough to spend the night after a day in the Disney parks. The people is very helpful. It was also convenient to have the breakfast included, this gives you more time to spend on what you went to do, although the breakfast is not spectacular, no scrambled eggs/bacon, but is abundant and enough to have you satisfied […] the whole morning. Our initial room had a stained carpet and musty smell. When the a/c made an annoying knocking noise we called the desk and they moved us. The new room was clean and fresh. Very spacious rooms and bathroom. Good hot continental breakfast with waffle makers. No elaborate teas, coffees, or creamers, just plain, generic flavors. I have always had positive experiences at La Quinta hotels and this was no exception. It was comfortable, convenient, and we felt safe. I had only two issues with our stay. Because of an apparent understaffing of maintenance or grounds crew, the hotel is starting to show signs of wear and overflowing trash cans was not uncommon. My biggest issue was […] minor, but unlike other La Quinta Suites where I have stayed, they didn't offer coffee in the lobby after breakfast hours and there was no place near by to get some. I stayed at the La Quinta Convention Center Orlando to attend a conference. The hotel is good enough in terms of cleanliness, convenience and friendliness of the staff. However, I could hear everything that was going on in the hallway and the first night I didn't get much sleep because children were running around and yelling until midnight. The second […] night it was a group of teenagers on their class trip. If you're a business person who has to get some sleep because you have to conduct business the next day, this is not your place. Although we were there for only 2 days we enjoyed our visit. Rooms were clean and updated. We also enjoyed the Continental Breakfast. Very nice. I would recommend this La Quita to my friends.

Great location .

I was impressed by everything. All my expectations were exceeded. I've stayed in many hotels, resorts and condos but this place was the best of all. We had no complaints during our 4 day stay.

The hotel was great! Clean, easy to find, etc. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful for the most part; however, they gave us the wrong directions to Universal Studios. They told us to turn left on International and go past the turn for SeaWorld when in fact we should have turned right and gone about 1 mile. They sent us way out of our way.

last minute need to find a place close to International Drive. La Quinta fitted the bill perfectly. Roomy, modern rooms and breakfast included. Only negative being the bathrooms a bit basic with minimal soap and shampoo. So bring your own if you are fussy!

Staff was courteous. Rooms were clean. Included continental breakfast. A/C didnt seem to get very cool.

We were upgraded to a suite because there were no longer any rooms with a single king bed. This was a nice feature since I was there to take a test nearby so it gave me privacy to study while my husband watched TV. However, the TV was very old and had horrible color and brightness properties. If we were there for longer then 1 night I would have complained. […] You could barely see the picture on some stations. 1 remote was dead. The bathroom needs some finish upgrades and had horrible acoustical properties. You have to be 100% comfortable with the people sharing the room if you know what I mean. The breakfast was not as good as other complimentary breakfast hotels I have been to. Staff was nice and helpful except for one man we met. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Business center was not very inviting. Gym was a nice feature but we didn't use it. It is in a GREAT location and at a great price compared to others in the area - which enables me to look past the bad things. I have stayed in this hotel several times and find it to be an excellent value. Generally priced lower than comparable rooms in the area. Not directly on International Drive, so hotel is quiet and yet close to restaurants, etc. Definitely recommend for a good, low cost stay. Friendly staff.
