hi,enjoyed my stay in the riverview hotel,not satisfied with media service there should be free internet ,decent tv channels and souns(this was too low and couldnt be increased.) dvd service far too expensive ,cheaper to go to the cinema, nawspaper should be included. It will be more satisfied if supplied with tooth brush and sandals for deluxe room. Should take bus or taxi to reached the nearest MRT stations.

theres no wifi in this hotel. the location is ok, although i'd like to have some food stalls or shopping malls nearby.

Staying at the River View Hotel is like stepping back in time. The hotel must have once been a nice shiny place for people to stay in and socialized. Now, it's carpet is worn out, there are cracks in the bathtubs and and the walls could do with a bit of refreshing. The service from the reception and housekeeping staff was friendly and not overbearing […] and they were kind enough to allow late checkouts. However, it was strange to have to put a deposit in case we used the mini bar, but the mini bar was not stocked. This hotel was rather OK, but it didn't really offer anything special. The major fault of this hotel was that it was a little bit to far away from the city and the nearest MRT, as well as the staff which could be a bit more friendly.

River terrace lovely. Food excellent. We'll go back there.

Quite close to Clark Quay with all the restaurants and bars. Staff not super friendly. About 15min walking to Clark Quay metro station.

Standard buit good hotel. Excellent location; 10 minute walk to bot Quay.

Stayed here for a night before my postgrad exam. Was very pleased with the easy access to everything I needed for my stay. The room provided iron, hairdryer, bedroom slippers, prompt broadband access (with low charges) and room service meals with very professional and courteous staff who served the meals. The most convenient of all was the doorknob […] breakfast menu/order, with breakfast delivered right at the time it was requested. The Riverview Hotel is adequate, but a bit disappointing for the price. Staff were not particularly helpful, though not unfriendly.

Nice & Clean place.. Good stay

Stood only one night, late arrival, staff at reception almost had my credit card blocked as he did not understand or was not willing to ask a colleague that my european credit card was asking for my PIN. This costed me a 30 Euro phone call to my credit card company to find out why my card was working 3 hrs before and no more. Carpet is not clean, there […] is mold in the ventilation of the bathroom, the room fridge is empty for "your best convenience" as you have to call in to ask for your list of beverages. Ordered an in-room "dinner", a club sandwich and a diet coke, which contained 4 ridiculours triangular sandwiches, big fries which smelled like old frying oil and this cost me 26 singapore dollar. The hotel being quiet far from any normal restaurant if you have no car and 15 minutes walk from the next MRT station, you are kind of trapped, especially that we are not 10.30pm. Only complaint was some trouble with the TV, else it was a great stay. Stayed for only one night. Nice staff and average check-in time.

The hotel is very much what I would expect for the price in Europe. Room small but neat with clean bathroom, flat-screen TV (local and international stations), electric kettle, iron, fridge, and enough closet space for one!Only ate in the hotel for first day's breakfast and it was an interesting buffet, but because of proximity of many, many cafes, […] bars, restaurants and shops along the river, ate out for the rest of my stay. I stayed with my cousin for 2 nights in september 2011 during the formula 1 weekend. The location is quite near to clarke quay and orchard street but only by taxi and not walking. The check-in and check-out was a breeze. Hotel gave us the room at 10am instead of 2pm and allowed us to vacate the room by 2pm instead of the 12noon deadline. All this was […] without any extra charges. Did not have any meals at the hotel so cannot comment on the quality of food or restaurants inside the hotel. Our room was not cleaned after the first night, but they were prompt enough to do it when we complained about it. A little bit far from the mrt station.

I am pretty surprised that the condition of the room is not even better than when I check in during year 2003. This hotel is taking a step backward in terms of its room quality. 1.The bed is not comfortable at all. Feels like those bed from budget hotel even though this one got a 4-star ratings. 2. Aircon is not cold even when i set to the minimum. 3. […] No free movies like HBO on its programme except if you pay for it. 4. Not much good quality programmes on its channel. 5. Good hotel in a decent location. Reception was a bit slow, but room service breakfast was good and arrived quickly.

Great location, handy to bus stop, walking distance to shoping, Clarke Quay, free bus into Orchard Road. Staff helpful. Food a bit expensive and rooms a bit tired, cleaner could be a bit more energetic. Great little cafe just across the river run by a Columbian lady, makes good coffee and crepes.

I went to checked in 4pm and was surprised coz i have to wait for another hour cause the haven't prepared the room yet. After an hour of waiting, they gave me a room in the 9th floor. As soon as i got in the room, you can smell Durian fruit and it stinks!..We did call the reception and the phone? EWWWW!! it smells bad!!..The reception told us to call […] Housekeeping and request someone to spray the room. But the smell was never gone. So we called again to transfer us to other room, but they said the hotel is full.. Stayed for one day. Early checkin at 10:30 i.e. one hour notice from being at the front desk. It will be helpful if this can be done via phone call. Service was okay. Staff looked a bit overworked and Concierge was looking confused but it may be due to the time of the day due to checkouts. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The River view Hotel is tricky to get to places on public transport and street cafes for food not walking distance only restaurants. Room standard size and comfortable. Clean friendly service.

We stayed here recently to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had booked a double non smoking room more than a month earlier. We were given a twin room in the smooking section of this hotel. When we complained we were told there were no rooms and that our booking was subject to availability. Why then did they accept and confirm our booking? […] We did not use any of their other facilities as we felt they had already got our money under false pretenses. I had booked a junior non-smoking suite. When I got to the desk I was given an executive smoking suite. Lobby was stark and all employees had a cold attitude. The items in the room were poor quality and limited. Towels were limited and large but of thin material. getting in and out of the only shower was very dangerous becasue it was in a jetted tub […] with high sides. the marble floor was very slippery. I wish I had better information about NOTHING being included with the room. They wanted high amounts for poor food. We ate in the general restaurant and had to work to get the food we ordered. Good, clean, OK location . . . . . . but dont expect any bargains, this is Singapore and you generally only get what you pay for. This hotel is old and looks dated in some areas (particularly bathrooms). This room was actually over-priced but it was F1 weekend when I was there so all the hotels were charging crazy prices. I was pleased with my choice of hotels. The Riverview is in a great location in the downtown area. It is very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that I had to pay $25 per day for internet.

「タクシードライバーが名前ですぐわかるホテル」というのが海外では肝要。Driverが「Havelock?」とホテルに面した通りの名前を確認のため尋ねる場面もあるが、ここはほぼ理解してもらえた。　クラークキーへもバスで一本で数駅の距離。Kaya Toastもマッサージもボートクルージングもパーティーもクラークキーでおさまる。Site Seeing Busが集まるSun Tek City Mall へもクラーク・キーから地下鉄で１回乗り換えてすぐ。タクシーでもS$10超(約700円)くらいかな。クラーク・キーへも川沿いの店を眺めながら風に吹かれて歩いていける、チャイナタウンからも歩いて帰れる、便利な場所でした。

部屋が、ホテル目の前を走る道路側に面していると、夜中も車の音が、うるさい。（窓を開けていたとかで無く、防音性の問題）それ以外に関しては、満足。　出張に行くときは、いつも使います。

Belle vue sur singapore river qui offre quelques bars, restaurants et une promenade agréable pour le soir. La piscine est au 5 eme étage.

Bus stop is very near and easy. Stuff is kindly and friendly. Shower with bath tub. Clean room and key is card key and touch key. It is very easy and nice key. Very safety key. Très belle vue et piscine. En longeant la rive, on atteint Marina Bay à pied. Restaurant avec spécialités variées.

Beliggenhet passet veldig fint til oppdaget mitt som varte i noen få dager bare. fine turer langs elven, mange tilbud på spisested og lett å komme til andre serverdigheter. Hyggelig personell og god service.

Letztendlich war der Aufenthalt von drei tagen in Ordnung aber die Sauberkeit im Bad kann definitiv noch verbessert werden! Der Toilettenhahn war undicht, der Deckel nicht richtig gereinigt und an der Decke wurde der Schimmel mit weißer Farbe über gestrichen. Zudem waren die Betten sehr hart! Wir waren über Silvester da und haben uns so gut wie gar […] nicht aufgehalten. Deswegen war es ok, auch der Pool und das gym sahen ganz gut aus. Trotzdem kann es definitiv noch verbessert werden! God beliggenhet, grei standard, hyggelig betjening.

川沿いにあり　朝食は外でもいただけ　のんびり川を眺め　ゆつくりいただくのには良いかも。ただ二年前に利用したときよりも　朝食の質は落ちていました。品数も味も。　フロントにぜんぜん日本語話せず　ホテルには日本語のわかる人はいません。 最近　できたクロネコヤマトの宅急便もしらず　宅急便の人に説明していただきやっと納得して　フロントの人に頼めました。おつりは手数料としてあけ゜たのですが　送り状はもらえませんでした。フロントの人に聞いたのですが　知らないの一点ばりでした。値段が値段ですので　仕方ないですが 部屋　ｻｰﾋﾞｽはよくないですが　お値段をかんがえれば　まあまあだと思います

No se encuentra situado en ningún punto turístico en especial, pero si no les importa caminar un poquito, esta perfecto. Cerca de varios restaurantitos. Un poco viejo en los pasillos. Pero el cuarto muy limpio. Si volvería a hospedarme ahí sin duda. En una zona tranquila y segura.
