The hotel was clean and the guy at the front desk was very helpful and nice. The surrounding neighborhood made me feel a little nervous traveling alone, but all in all it was a good experience.

"Not as nice as a Marriot should be"
Hotel enterance felt like I was going into a lockdown facility, not very welcoming. Pool is tiny. Room seemed damp, Shower/tub was uneven and water would stream from edges of tub onto floor. Noise from hallway entered room freely. Signage to get to hotel diffecult to find. Map links via tripit do not bring up actual location.

To sum up Fairfield Beaumont in a word, it would be ‘dated.’ I know nothing about the history of the property, but it really seems like it used to be a Quality Inn or some such cheaper property, that then did the minimum required to be listed as Fairfield. The accommodation is vastly inferior to every Fairfield I’ve experienced and is priced at about […] double what would be fair. When I complained about the noisy and broken dehumidifier, the noisy bathroom extractor fan, and some other issues, I was upgraded to a king suite. This was a little nicer, but the TV didn’t work properly, the furniture and décor was still generally dated. All in all, this was a disappointing stay at an utterly mediocre property. "Fairfield Inn Beaumont"
The check in was easy and the room was airconditioned when we arrived, as if they knew we were coming and prepared the room for us. The de-humidifier was terrific because of the high humidity of southeast texas. The location was central to many activities and restaurants and the staff was very helpful, especially the lady who worked the breakfast area. […] I wish I could recall her name, she was great. The only negative about this stay is that the beds/pillows were not as comfortable for this quality of hotel. I have stayed at numerous Fairfield's and I expected better beds/pillows. Place was hard to get to and beds were too small and too hard. Very uncomfortable
"Fine, better than a lot in Beaumont, but not fancy."
Good service, decent breakfast options, nice room. It was clean and spacious. A fine hotel. I would have liked a refrigerator in the room like some comparable hotels have, but it was a fine stay. I may stay there again.
